It went well until I felt like when she went to remove I've of the eyelid covers, she must've got glue on my lid or lashes somehow and ripped when she went to take it off. I should've known that point this was going to not be good. My other eye she kept poking me with tweezers or something (my eye was closed) but I kept feeling little stinging pains and showing her it was hurting me. Then she finished (about 2 hours later around 5) and I immediately couldn't open my eye. Something kept feeling like it was stabbing my eye. I kept trying to tell her I couldn't drive home like this because my eye was watering like crazy because of whatever the lash was doing. She kept trying to fix it but we spent a good 10 mins just trying to get my eye to feel like it could open again. I eventually left when my watering eye came under control. But the rest of the night my eye was red, tearing up like CRAZY, and hurting. I thought with time it would get better but by the next morning my eye was swollen and VERY irritated. I had to remove the lashes less than 24 hours later in the morning by my mom's lash girl who fit me in for emergency lash removal. When I went to get them taken out, she told me there were hardly any lashes and that usually the amount she took off both eyes was the amount on both my eyes. So basically there were hardly any lashes on. She said they were placed improperly, which is why my one eye swelled up. Looking back, when I left Nita offered me a "free follow up appointment" but I wonder now if it was because she wasn't sure about her work. Needless to say I won't be coming back for that. EDIT: Green Skincare saw my review and apologized to me and gave me my money back for this. I appreciate it, and wanted to add that to the review that some action was taken to remedy this. So I can go from 1 to 3 stars because of the apology and refund.

I ended up doing the Collagen Skin Rejuvenation (Microneedling). Ping was very warm and knowledgeable about the services she provides, and I can tell she takes pride and care into her work. She talked me through all the steps she was taking and even stopped to ask me if I had any questions. She explained everything so thoroughly that every time she checked in, I really had nothing more to ask! It was my first time getting a microneedling treatment and my skin has been feeling good and I'm hoping the results will show more as I continue the treatment. I'm super interested in setting up a package plan with Ping when I decide to go back. Ping will take great care of you and leave no questions unanswered. I found it very pleasant, informative and non-pressuring at all. I appreciate the referral to consult with Ping, the Esthetician. Ping, right from the first meeting, was very kind, great at making me feel comfortable and familiar with the place. She was very thorough, asked questions without being intimidating and explained every step as she went through the process. She was even apologetic for being so thorough, to which I would say, it's great when you have someone who does than not, so the client can be an informed and active partner in the treatment process. Ping has great bedside manners. Not everyone in the medical fields does and it's important to me. She's very professional and seems to really care about her client. She's checked on how I was doing many times during the procedure. I left the clinic, feeling at ease. The next day, Ping followed up on how my skin was doing. Such a great gesture and let me know that she's always reachable between visits should I have any questions. I will continue/update my review after next visits. For now, I want Maricar and Ping to know that I appreciate them both.

I had also tried various recommended skincare from Sephora and other beauty influencers on Instagram, but none of them seemed to work. On a whim, I asked my skincare-addict friend if she had any recommendations, and she said her friend had gone to this place in Fremont that does acne extractions that she spoke highly of. Before this, it hadn't even crossed my mind to see an aesthetician for my acne. Karen was my aesthetician, and she performed a manual acne extraction + other hydrating treatments afterwards. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the extraction HURTS! But it's only in the moment of the extraction, it doesn't keep hurting afterwards. Karen was as gentle as she could be, but also meticulous. I felt as if she was digging into every one of my pores (in a good way)! After years of struggling with acne, I decided to bite the bullet and just trust the process with Karen. Instead of other facial places, I don't have to pick and decide for myself which treatment I want -- Karen takes in the current state of my face with every visit and suggests the treatment that she thinks is the best. It took a little while to fully see the results, but it was so worth it! After a few months, I already started see a reduction in my normal acne. In around year or two, I not only barely had any acne, my skin was so much healthier, and I swear my pores seemed to have shrunk!
