I've been eyeing Nlighten for a few weeks as I've been running some errands in the Seafood City marketplace and finally decided to check them out. I ended up doing the Collagen Skin Rejuvenation (Microneedling). Ping was very warm and knowledgeable about the services she provides, and I can tell she takes pride and care into her work. She talked me through all the steps she was taking and even stopped to ask me if I had any questions. She explained everything so thoroughly that every time she checked in, I really had nothing more to ask! It was my first time getting a microneedling treatment and my skin has been feeling good and I'm hoping the results will show more as I continue the treatment. I'm super interested in setting up a package plan with Ping when I decide to go back. Ping will take great care of you and leave no questions unanswered. I found it very pleasant, informative and non-pressuring at all. I appreciate the referral to consult with Ping, the Esthetician. Ping, right from the first meeting, was very kind, great at making me feel comfortable and familiar with the place. She was very thorough, asked questions without being intimidating and explained every step as she went through the process. She was even apologetic for being so thorough, to which I would say, it's great when you have someone who does than not, so the client can be an informed and active partner in the treatment process. Ping has great bedside manners. Not everyone in the medical fields does and it's important to me. She's very professional and seems to really care about her client. She's checked on how I was doing many times during the procedure. I left the clinic, feeling at ease. The next day, Ping followed up on how my skin was doing. Such a great gesture and let me know that she's always reachable between visits should I have any questions. I will continue/update my review after next visits. Drove 13 hours from Vancouver, WA for my appointment. Booked it two months for my younger son and I. Ping was pleasant over the phone booking my appointment. Even got us early in the morning before normal hours. My oldest decided to go on trip and Ping had move another appointment to fit my 2nd son into schedule to accommodate all of us. She examined the boys facial needs and told them what to expect. They went 1st. I came back later for my procedure. Ping was very passionate on her work. My boys 1st time and they were pleased with results. I was very happy on how much see did in one session. I would fly into San Jose next time I need a follow up. I was in need of a facial and I wanted to try this place out after going to Goldilocks and passing it every time. First key tip: They have limited staff due to being shut down from Covid so the esthetician doesn't answer the phone when she is with clients so you'll just have to text the phone number at the front of the store to set up an appointment. They should really indicate that on the Yelp page so customers don't think they're closed. Second Key tip: I came here specifically for the Yelp check in special offer for the European facial for $67.50 and they aren't honoring it. I let her know she should tell the owner to remove it so people are aware and don't come there thinking it's still valid. They've also raised their prices due to Covid which I understand because rent prices must be high and they were shut down for a while. As for the facial itself, Ping was very knowledgeable about my skin. She also does a scalp, face, and neck massage as a part of the facial. She did cleanse, blackhead removal, collagen mask, and some other things. My face did feel better. I just finished the second treatment of my skin rejuvenation procedure (Microneedling) with Ping at NLIGHTEN Skincare and Spa and I am excited to share the positive results Ive been noticing on my skin. WRONG HOURS ADVERTISED. The hours displayed in Apple Maps say 10AM - 7PM for today. My best friend and I arrived at 10:30 to a sign that says they'd be open at 11AM. I called at 11:30 and wasn't answered. We came back at around 11:45 to a STILL EMPTY STORE. This was terribly inconvenient as I had errands to run all day and a birthday party. Excellent service by Ping. I got the Salicylic Acid facial and it has now been two days since treatment and my skin is bright and clear! I let Ping choose what treatment would be best for me and she pointed out something that I didn't know about my skin, that it was actually combination instead of oily/acne prone like I'd originally thought. I came in for my appointment. Check in went smoothly. This was my first time actually getting a facial, crazy right? I also went in for the acne treatment since my face is breaking out and I'm struggling with a lot of new acne scars. Ping made sure I was comfortable since it was my first time. Came to nlighten Skincare for Microdermabrasion Ping was my Aesthetician she is very knowledgeable about skincare. I came back again for Lamprobe treatment with Ping, overall I'm happy with my result for both treatment but the only issue with Nlighten Skincare is they short of staff. As my understanding an Aesthetician shouldn't have leave their client during their treatment. During my treatment She had to leave me and went to help other client at the front desk and phone called for few time. I thought that is a little frustrating for me. I'm all about skincare. Although, I'm not one to keep up with facial appointments (because I'm lazy) I can always count on PING to bring my complexion back to life! PING is very knowledgeable and informative about all your skincare needs. From what products to use, to daily routines, to maintaining a healthy skin... My skin is fairly clear (no acne or scarring) but my biggest issue is pigmentation (SPF is your best friend ladies!). With every appointment I have noticed a difference in skin texture. She's knowledgeable about products and how to apply them to different skin types. I was struggling with some acne on my face and chest due to sweat from working out. She did the facial and recommended a face mask that I've been using every day and I've noticed a huge change in my skin. Not only has most of the acne gone away, but so has the scars. The staff here is very friendly. The esthetician, Ping, is good and very nice. I had the skin tags on the right side of my neck removed from another place last month, but the esthetician there charged me too much for the procedure and she probably cauterized the areas with the skin tags too deeply that my skin became very red after the procedure. I needed the skin tags removed on my face, but I wanted another esthetician to do it. I came here to Nlighten for another opinion. I used to go here when it was Ageless, and I thought this place was closed but I found out the name was changed. I had a consultation with Ping to see what she recommends about the removal of the skin tags on my face. I had the consultation about a few days after the skin tags of my neck were removed. Ping advised me to continue applying antibiotic on the areas because they looked infected. She told me that she can remove the skin tags on my face. She demonstrated on how she will remove the skin tags with the Lamprobe. It didn't hurt that much, and the areas that Ping removed the skin tags didn't turn as red as the areas from the other esthetician. I had the skin tags from my face removed yesterday with Ping. She made sure that I had my questions answered first. She applied a topical anesthetic on the areas that she will cauterize the skin tags in order to decrease any pain that I would feel. The pain was not that bad when she started to cauterize the skin tags. It was just a tingly sensation. Ping took her time, and she always asked if I felt any pain. I would recommend Ping if you need any skin irregularities on your skin removed with the Lamprobe. The price to have the skin tags removed is reasonable and not that bad, but it does vary depending on how many skin tags that you need to be removed. read more

She told me to do the cleanser again and use the mask every 2 weeks to stop it from popping all over. Anyways, once I was done with my appointment my skin felt really smooth, despite having redness and acne. My skin even got a bit brighter than last time.
