I adopted two adult female pit mixes and had no idea what to do when they lashed out at other dogs when we were out for walks in public. It was frightening and embarrassing because I was clueless in what to do except excessively apologize and hang onto the leashes for dear life while the girls were lunging and growling/barking. The first year I got them, I resorted to walking them at 3 or 4 am and at 10 or 11 at night. Other trainers told me that I broke the cardinal rule and you should never have two females together so I need to probably get rid of one or other trainers had ridiculous and complicated methods that made their behavior worse. Those were not acceptable solutions and then...by the grace of dog gods, I found Alex!! He provided the best and easiest foundation that doesn't involve spray bottles,a crazy harness, treats nor toys!! With his training...now I know how to read my girls, I can walk my girls out in public, eat at a dog friendly restaurant and we've even done paddle boarding!! We've had a whole new colorful life and it's all thanks to Alex! I highly recommend Alex, he can help you with your pup(s). I was a case no one wanted to deal with but he listened to me and helped me reach goals that I never thought were possible.

Enjoying a weekend!!!! Hi Alex and Tegan!!!!! For my new family thank you LUCKY PUP TRAINING..

Alex and Tegan Rock!! They have a partnership with Vegas Pet Rescue Project Where we adopted Bentley (4 month Pit bull). Bentley went thru a 4 week training with Lucky Pup. Alex and Tegan came into our home twice to make sure we where the right fit for each other. Bentley is so well behaved, all thanks to them . They continue to check in with us and are always available to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend Lucky Pup . My wife and I can't thank you enough and look forward to attending pack walks.

Alex and Tegan are AMAZING!!! My boyfriend and I rescued a lab at 3 months old from an Indian reservation. Our new addition (Ollie), had separation anxiety, problems sleeping, and some SERIOUS biting. We watched YouTube videos to be as prepared as possible and try to train him ourselves, but it got to the point where we had no control of him. We sent him to lucky pup dog training for a month and they even took him to his appointments and picked him up! They constantly sent us photos and videos of his progress and I could not believe that was the same little pup! He came back calm, controlled, and patient. After his training classes were over they continuously worked with us to train us on how to keep his habits up. They answer their phones whenever we have questions (we have a lot)! And offer lifetime trainings for the rest of the dog's life! Not only are they great dog trainers, but they are even better people. They're so friendly and easy to get along with which is the exact type of people you want to be taking care of your dog!

We adopted a pit bull puppy, and knew I wanted him to have the best training. Since they are given a bad reputation, I didn't want to leave anything to fate. After meeting a few other trainers in the Valley, I knew Alex was our guy. The whole Lucky Pup team is amazing. All the trainers are knowledgeable , patient and have a true love and ambitions to help dogs. We have been training for about 7 months and I love that it's all done at our own pace. They teach YOU how to train your dog, which is great so that once he leaves the house your dog doesn't go back to being naughty. I have even send him videos of my dogs behavior because I was worried about aggression, and he always gets back to me and eases my worries. The pack walks are a bonus! As long as they are training dogs, there is no one else I will trust with my fur babies!

Our Gus Gus - he's such a good boy now!

My pup was 1 1/2 when I contacted Tegan for help. He's a sweet little boy, but he definitely needed some training. He liked to jump, bark, pull on the leash, jump up and steal kiddos food ect ...After procrastinating the training I know that I needed for him, I walked down the stairs to a torn up carpet one day. I was shocked! I had to replace the entire carpet as it was not fixable. I couldn't even believe my eyes and at this point I was so frustrated with our dog. So, I finally found and reached out to Lucky Pup Dog Training. Can I just tell you, how amazing our dog is now! I can't even believe he's the same dog. He listens, walks perfect, no more torn up objects, he doesn't run out of the door when he gets a chance, he doesn't steal food. He's a changed puppy and I'm forever grateful for helping our little Gus Gus. Tegan is patient and such an amazing training. Their training is based on research and foundation training. They're truly masters at what they do. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for real change in your dog. I'm still speechless at the change in our pup! Thank you for helping us! Our Gus Gus is the BEST BOY now!

Alex is simply one of the best dog trainers around, he is very knowledgeable, accommodating, and adaptable. Alex has gotten my puppy to behave in a manor I did not think was possible, the best part of it is. He is not hooked on treats nor afraid of me. This is crucial, i've seen other trainers techniques. Some train commands by constantly rewarding them with treats which would cause your dog to only listen to you when you give/have a treat. Some use shock collars and other pain responsive methods, which will cause your dog to fear you and partially respect you. If you want that, go somewhere else. If you want a dog to respect you, love you and be your companion you can take anywhere Alex is your trainer. He taught me how to be one in charge, taught my puppy how to behave in different scenarios and commands that are useful. You can't get there anywhere else. On top of that, Alex comes to meet you in the park, mall, and even your home to give you and your pup lessons. Alex will give you the tools to make all of this possible. My puppy Leo is my companion dog now, I can walk in the park or anywhere with no leash and he will stay by my side with no words spoken or action. Leo ignores other dogs while on his leash, no leash pulling, will use the bathroom on my command, bring requested items, greet guests after I give permission. He truly makes me feel comfortable around any situation. This is only as a puppy, I can only imagine how he will be when becomes a teenager and even an adult. These are only some of the things we have gone over in a couple weeks. Alex can fix any and all issues you may face. Short version: Get the unlimited lessons, truly worth it and your family and pup will not regret a dime.

My 3 amigos. Alex was instrumental in helping us with my pack!

5 Stars - Thank You, Stephy!…read more My boyfriend and I were shopping around for a good dog trainer for our pitbull puppy when we came across BarxParx and found Stephy--and we're so glad we did! Stephy is absolutely amazing at what she does. She's incredibly knowledgeable in her field and made the entire experience both fun and educational. Over the course of six weeks, we saw such a positive transformation in our puppy, Moose. The group class was small and intimate, which made it easy for both of us to be involved in the training process. What we really appreciated is that Stephy wasn't just training our puppy she was also teaching us about puppy behavior, communication, and how to be better dog parents. She was so patient with us (and Moose!) every step of the way. Moose genuinely looked forward to going to class every week, which says a lot. Thank you so much, Stephy, for everything. You've helped us lay the foundation for a well-behaved, happy pup, and we couldn't be more grateful!

I was about to buy the puppy classes but then I met the trainer Stephy/Stephanie and decided not to. In our first 30 minute convo she spoke for 20 mins. My second question to her was simply "are you the trainer who supervises indoor dog park" She told me no and then spoke for 10-15 minutes about the differences between her and the other trainer. She talks a lot about going to college for dog training and how other trainers are simply not as good as her. I would expect her to ask a little more questions so it felt like more of a consultation. I also felt like she didn't understand boundaries. She kept contacting me about vet records even though I explained it was a holiday. I mentioned that twice. Despite that she moved with her own urgency until I had to tell her there was no rush on our end. I also asked a question on another day and asked her to text or send a voice note. She did for a couple of exchanges but then called me anyway. And when I explained I couldn't absorb the info during a call she said "well I wanted to call you so you could learn about dogs" But she never asked me what training experience I had in the first place ‍‍‍ Anyways, not for me but the general concept is cool considering how hot it is.

It helped our dogs be around other dogs, it allows them to like and be around other humans as well. Dave doesn't force me or the dogs to do anything we do not feel comfortable doing. It does all depend with the owner or onwner's of the dog on how fast your dog will learn new habits and tricks. We recently adopted two older (Terrier) boy dogs that are maybe 7 and 8 years old the vets says. We also decided to get a 10 week girl pit bull at the time. One of the boys would try to attack the baby every time he saw her. I felt stuck and did not think my dogs would ever be in the same room, let alone even get along. She helped us learn the tools we needed for our dogs to be successful. After 8 sessions our dogs are doing great with door manners, a long stay, coming when called and more. She has taught us fun games that allow the dogs to use their noses to find scents, while also tiring them out. I recommend AJ to anyone in need of help with dogs who already are great, but have a few quirks to workout. And I highly recommend AJ to anyone with new pups in the house. AJ listened to our needs, and investigated our surroundings/situation. AJ prioritizes Nala's delicate insecurities. There are not many Trainers (or businesses) that go above and beyond the need to "sincerely help" and yet is still a professional. ie: AJ has accompanied us on numerous Vet visits; suggested Doggie Daycare, plus accompanied us on Nala 1st visit and ensured Nala's transition into socializing with other dogs. Today, our appointment was canceled with roughly 15 minutes notice -- which of course we didn't even receive because we were already driving to the appointment when they called. This comes after our previous appointment where we sat waiting nearly 25 minutes past our scheduled time just to get our dog checked in. What's especially frustrating is that this business is extremely strict about requiring rabies vaccination records for new clients -- which is completely understandable and responsible -- yet somehow they don't actually keep those records on file afterward. So now that we're going elsewhere, they can't even provide us a copy of the records we already submitted. At this point, it just feels incredibly disorganized from a management/ownership standpoint. Two appointments in a row have either been significantly delayed or outright canceled, and there doesn't seem to be much regard for customers' time or convenience. Thankfully, there are plenty of groomers to choose from, so this really isn't the end of the world. It's just an odd way to run a business if the goal is to attract and retain loyal customers.
