I invested in an almost $4000 mattress, ut was sent to me defective/softer than the store model (I took & have my own videos of how deep I sank into each), and am now experiencing impact after impact. A 'manager' sold this mattress to me, did not inform me of the proper foundation that is necessary for the mattress to meet standards/warranty had it had any issues. I would definitely expect these things to be verbalized with such a purchase. A separate departmebt/company comes out to inspect the defective, takes pictures, measurements and such. That department did find the mattress was sinking, and because it did not have the 5 required slats I wasn't aware it needed, only 3 slats, the defective mattress is not covered. There was an opportunity to make the necessary updates for warranty (another inconvenience to not only me, but also my dad), I called a couple days ago with the updates, was told someone would call me tomorrow and lmk if there was anything else I needed to do/send, only to find out there were no notes from my call 2 days ago, and then to be told I only get 1 free inspection per year. All I wanted to do was support my body during the gestational period of incubating a baby and instead of a nice smooth investment, I am experiencing inconvenience after inconvenience, & prolinged stress over a period of time. No one would expect such an investment to be such a hassle, especially during a pregnancy. I would definitely expect a more workable, effective & time friendly solution & support. Never buy from this store. I bought a dresser and still after a year smells horrible of wood smell. I've tried everything to get rid of it. I called horrible customer service and they won't come look at it saying I didn't have warranty which I did purchase extra for to have one. read more

Needed a new mattress. $120 was paid for a mattress & mattress cover.. same day delivery GUARANTEED .. only the mattress was delivered, notified them and said they'd come back the same day with the cover, never came back.. called the company.. spoke to KEITH (store manager) he always sounded like he didn't care, called several times. KEITH promised to call back and never did, even after offering to go pick it up myself... they told us no NO NEED, Now no one has showed up with the cover and aren't picking up my calls. I know it's Memorial Day but this is really unprofessional. Why promise you're gonna do something at a certain time and not do it. LOVED this store. I am in the process of moving, so I'm in need of a mattress. I saw the reviews for this Sit 'n Sleep, so I came in with very high expectations. I could not have been more happier to have come in and "test drive" mattresses at this particular location. Juan, the sleep consultant, was fantastic! My grandfather and I came in with our questions and Juan was very knowledgeable on what works for different body types and sleep styles. Juan used the "Bed Match" and then from there was able to really delve into which mattresses would be best. Additionally, he asked questions and made us feel comfortable. Not only is customer service great, everything is sanitary and clean (which in my opinion should be required of ALL furniture stores). This location shares a parking lot with a hair salon and sushi place, so it could get crowded, but all in all, this was such an amazing mattress shopping experience! read more

As soon as my sister and I walked through the door, we were welcomed by Robert and asked what style of beds we loved sleeping on. He gave us a protective sheet and showed us 2 soft style beds, one with springs and the other memory foam. Those were nice but we still weren't sold. After I gave him a description of a hotel bed that you never want to get out of, he took me straight to my dream bed and I didn't want to get up! (Though the price was going to make me as it was out of my budget) He showed my sister a really nice bed too and as we were laying in those awesome beds, he found 2 of them that were available at 1/2 off! They had a Gazillion mattresses to choose from and our salesman Kendrick was totally helpful as we navigated the bizarre and confusing world of mattresses. After purchasing the perfect mattress for us (King Coil-plush) the delivery guys Fernando and Carlos were careful and skilled. No bumped walls or scratched floors. We arrived around 8pm. We were very surprised but delighted that this location is open until 9! Sabrina the superstar greeted us immediately and she took our temperature. She asked a few questions about our budget and our preference and started showing us a few styles. She showed us one a little out of our price range. Of course we fell in love with it. This review is on the excellent customer service I received from Johnny Maldonado. He is perhaps the best salesperson I've ever come across, not just in mattress buying. He was respectful, honest, and just genuinely wanted to help. Mattress buying is not my favorite thing to do. I often feel like I'm being too picky, going from one bed to another trying to find the perfect one, while the salesperson sits with you on the other... After 3 other mattress stores, I found Johnny at Sit n Sleep in Pasadena, who normally works at Carson. He greeted me in a friendly manner and asked if I had a type of mattress in mind. After telling him my preference and budget, he walked me to several mattresses that fell into my search. He didn't try to convince me to buy or upgrade, he just wanted to make sure I found what I wanted. He gave me objective information like type and warranty so I could make my own decision. When I couldn't decide between two mattresses, he respectfully asked if I needed some time to test them. It seems like there's nothing more uncomfortable than lying on mattresses while someone watches over you. I appreciated that Johnny offered me space so I could test them without added pressure. I laid on my mattress for 15 peaceful minutes before making my decision. When I was ready to purchase, Johnny was very thorough in answering any questions I had. Buying a mattress feels like such an intimidating commitment but Johnny made sure all the fine print was explained to me. If you're looking for a mattress, look for Johnny Maldonado. I want to sit and sleep on Avalon in Carson paid $1700 a bed bedframe and two sets of sheets now the sheets $118 a sack that's a sheet a pillowcase and a top sheet I was told oh it's 100% Egyptian cotton I opened it up and I read the label made an America 100% cotton with fabric from Pakistan so I call and I get double talk needless to say I am not happy don't buy sheets from them because you're going to pay for the same shit you get at Walmart for a third of the price I just called Robert. sit and sleep told him be a Egyptian cotton sheets I bought for $118 our American and Pakistan he tells me well they're not really Egyptian cotton factor equal to know you told me for $118 still Egyptian cat well they're not really there like it I didn't pay $118 for like it but I guess I got screwed be where anybody going to sit and sleep they will lie to get your money read more
