I came here to browse around for a new bed and mattress set because of ongoing sleep issues. At first I was apprehensive and overwhelmed with so many options to choose from. Although, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Shelby who showed and explained everything to me. She was patient, confident and extremely knowledgable about the many different kinds of mattresses. I was never strong armed or pressured with anything. Any questions or indecision I had; Shelby asked the appropriate questions that helped me come to a reasonable decision with my options. Shelby was extremely professional and within a few minutes of her demonstrations I knew I was going to buy today. I purchased a whole new mattress, frame, sheets, pillows and other items. I will definitely be coming back to this store for all of my future bedding needs. Alfred, the store manager is amazingly friendly (and funny)! I didn't even know what kind of bed I wanted and he helped me find the perfect one for me. I got an awesome deal as well. He made sure to give me great package with good pillows and a protective cover/sheet set so my dogs don't ruin my new mattress. Let's be honest, beds are one of those expensive things we hate to have to buy but he definitely made the experience extremely friendly, smooth and fast. As you know, buying a mattress can be stressful and overwhelming. I purchased a Tempurpedic mattress in September at the Pasadena location and I realized it just wasn't for me. I went to exchange it at this location and had no idea what to get. I was thinking about getting another Tempurpedic, but I wasn't sure; Chris was extremely helpful and patient even though this was an exchange and he wasn't going to receive any commission. I went back and forth on what to do and he told me to think about it and come back. I talked to some other people and Aireloom was highly recommended, so I went back and Chris showed me what they had in stock. The one I wanted was a bit pricey, so Chris recommend the same brand, but a different model that was more in my price range. Unfortunately, this location did not have the mattress in their showroom, but the Santa Ana location did. So, I went to the Santa Ana location (Tamara was awesome there) and decided the mattress Chris suggested was perfect. He didn't have to take the time to help me as much as he did and if he didn't mention the other mattress, I wouldn't have even known about it. I probably would have just purchased the more expensive one and I actually liked the one he recommended better. Customer service goes a long way and Chris is awesome, patient and very knowledgeable. read more

I had looked online for mattresses and it was not easy to make a decision to buy online.so I decided to go shop for mattress and base on the good reviews I when in thinking ok let's start from here and then I had few more places in mind that I was gonna go after. Chris Miller was the only person in the store at the time ( it was just little after they had opened) Long story short I left the store with less then 45 min with my new purchase. Service was excellent! Chris was helpful and made it easy for me to decide. Got my new mattress in few days because I was waiting for my new bed to come. Alfred at the new Orange, CA, store spent time explaining the handmade construction of the Aireloom King (7' x 7') mattress we'd chosen, as well as the history of the company, ensuring we were confident with our choice. There would also be 2 delivery teams due to the non standard size. As he advised, we received an automated call the night before the delivery - less than 2 weeks from purchase! - advising the delivery block of time, 8:30 - 12:30. At 8:25 we heard the first truck entering our neighborhood with the second following minutes later. Felipe and Alberto were the lead team, but all men carefully and conscientiously unpacked, carried and placed all pieces, being considerate of our wishes for centering the bed in the room. They removed their heavy work gloves between transferring from moving the outer covered pieces to the clean uncovered pieces, wearing white gloves when handling the mattress and cover. We are extremely pleased with the level of service during all aspects of our transaction and highly recommend Sit 'n Sleep. read more

I can't say enough about the great service we received at the new Sit n Sleep in Orange. My husband and I are at different ends of the spectrum on what we want in a bed, but we found the perfect mattress thanks to Shelby! She was a delight to work with and really worked hard to keep us in our budget. Delivery came right on time and the team set up our new bed and made sure everything was in working order (we got an adjustable bed). Our new bed is AWESOME -- worth every penny. This was my husbands and I first experience buying a new mattress and this was the first place we went to, and I know we made the right choice! As soon as we walked in, we were welcome by Chris, the manager and he took us right to the sleep number test bed, where it measures your pressure points and gives you suggestions for the best bed for you and your partner, my husband and I already had the Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme in mind, and the test confirmed that that would be best for us. We fell in love with the bed, and Chris patiently helped us pick the BEST pillows for each of us, my pillow is AMAZING! Chris, the manager was so so friendly and funny! He was beyond helpful and really made sure we were happy and satisfied. However, there was one problem that I was unsatisfied with, we went there on a Sunday around 5 pm, and they informed us it would be delivered Tuesday 2:30-5:30, so I left work early to make sure I would be home by 2:30, I waited...and waited...and waited some more until 6:00 pm, when I finally called the store and talked to the female manager who said "sorry" and told me she would call the delivery people and informed me they got stuck in traffic, they didn't arrive until close to 7:00 pm, a total of 4.5 hours waiting at home, when I could have been out and doing errands, I would've appreciated a call or better communication from either manager or delivery guys directly , letting me know they wouldn't be there until 7:00 pm, I would've been totally fine with that and I would've known to be back home by 7:00, and not just sitting idly, waiting. But overall, great experience, my husband and I LOVE our bed, best sleep we've ever had, would definitely buy from here again. read more

William Saiki did an exceptional job. He was very welcoming when my mom and I came into the store. He had our sleep position matched. He was very positive and upbeat. He didn't push us on our purchase, but instead acted like a guide to the many different types of mattresses we could choose from. Made sure the mattress we chose was the most comfortable and emphasized it's not the price of the bed, but the comfort you feel. He always checked to see what we thought on each of the mattresses and when we found one we loved he found a similar one just to make sure we 100% loved it to make sure we make the right decision and not a rushed decision. He definitely worked with our budget and we even got more than what we expected within the budget we had set. Felt well taken care of and satisfied with the purchases made. I highly recommend talking to William if you are looking for a new mattress because he is really helpful and exceeded my expectations. I purchased a complete mattress set for a Cal King Bed on Saturday. I made the purchase because of Sales Manager Chris Miller's excellent customer service skills. He was a awesome. He demonstrated knowledge and patience to the many questions my wife and I had. It's evident Chris possesses very good people skills and understands the needs of Sit 'n Sleep's customers. Nevertheless, I gave this store a low rating based solely on Sales Rep Shelby. Today (4-18-17), I returned to the store for a question relating to a box spring mattress that was delivered with my mattress set. Once I stepped into the store (I was right in front of the door), Shelby, while sitting in front of her desk said, "can I help you!" Her tone was uninviting. As I indicated to Shelby that I would like to exchange the box mattresses for a smaller (height) one, her first answer was you need to pay extra. She failed to ask me for more details nor showed customer service skill to resolve my issue. My impression was that Shelby is only interested in making a sale for the store and doesn't care to treat a customer with respect & courtesy. She doesn't understands that good customer service will pay more in the long run. The box mattress I need is smaller so therefore cheaper. If Shelby genuinely cares for the store and its customers, she would start by politely greeting customers & giving it more thought before responding. Unfortunate it's clear this isn't Shelby's first priority. If you visit the store, deal with Chris. read more
