Chris, the store manager, was the one that ultimately helped me through the whole process. I was matched up with a mattress and came back later because I wanted my girlfriend to test it out too. Of course, we started to test out other mattresses to make sure the one that I initially thought was good was the correct choice. Chris left us alone and gave us plenty of time to try all the different mattresses. There were times I almost fell asleep. I didn't feel any pressure at all from Chris which was something I didn't expect. I always assumed most sales persons would be pushy to try to sell their products; this was not the case. The bed match technology helped narrow down the selection so that we had a starting point and did not feel overwhelmed. Our temperatures were taken upon entering. We were provided individual mattress guards to lay on the mattresses and pillows before testing and staff were wearing face masks. Chris was knowledgeable and gave detailed information about the characteristics of each mattress and gave us space to shop around and did not hover. We did not feel rushed and were able to test out different mattresses at our own pace. The whole experience was stress free and we ended up finding a mattress. I'll try to keep this short. I was in the market for a new bed, and waited for a Presidents' Day sale to get a killer deal. I checked out a bunch of different places and all of them didn't have the showroom that this store does. When I walked in I was greeted and helped immediately. I told them the price I wanted and what I was looking for. I already did the bed match technology at a different store, so I knew what bed I needed. I have to say Chris Miller the store manager is hands down the best person I talked to during my mattress shopping. He was very informative, did not try to up-sell me, and was not pushy at all. I spent an hour looking and talking to him, and he made my buying experience amazing. Now it isn't all perfect. Chris however accidentally messed up on my next day delivery, and when I called him to tell him I didn't receive an email the night before, he took care of everything! He was very apologetic, and even compensated me a little for my troubles which was very nice. He went above and beyond again because of his accident. Chris took care of me originally when I bought the mattress and bed frame with a killer deal, and even went above and beyond after he messed up on accident. My husband and I bought 2 mattresses, box springs and frame for the new home we were moving into. My husband died in a horrific accident 1 day after they were delivered and the mattresses were never even sat on. I couldn't move into our new home. I called and told them my circumstances and could they please pick them up and return them to the store still even wrapped up. First they said they would look into it and call me back that under these circumstances they might could make an acceptation. I heard nothing for a week and I called them back and they say... I'm sorry, we cannot accept them back. I would think under the circumstances they would make an acceptation. I am now stuck with a 400 dollar a month storage fee with no knowing what to do with these brand new 4600.00 dollar mattresses. I am appalled at they way I was treated at such a hard time in my life! If I could give negative stars... I would. Also the sales lady (Norma) way over charged us in the first place. I am now trying to sell mattresses I paid $4600.00 for that are now priced at $3,600.00 in the store! Way to make that extra buck Norma! Beware of her if you go there... just saying read more

Dianne is great but their delivery company is horrible. After 2 deliveries of broken bed frames I had to buy my own separately. This after leaving work early because they can't communicate what time frame works for the customer. They had an upgraded frame but instead of throwing it in complimentary for the troubles they wanted me to pay another $200. I didn't feel like a valued customer after spending a lot of money therefore I do not recommend this place and will not do any future business with them. read more

We were in need of a new mattress. So, I search mattress stores in the city of Orange area. Sit N Sleep on Katella Ave. had very positive Yelps. The store didn't disappoint. We arrived at the store around 12:00 PM. Debbie, our sleep consultant, meet us with a smile and a positive personality. I love that purchasing a new mattress is a scientific process. In 5 short minutes, with the help of technology, our support was measured with accuracy. Four mattresses where recommended to us. We tried all four and determined that the King Koil Crestline pillow top mattress was the perfect match for our comfort. The entire experience took twenty minutes. Debbie was patient, kind, and professional. Knowing that masks were required to enter the store helped take away any health concerns. The mattress was delivered two days later. The delivery team was fast and efficient. In and out in less than ten minutes. Sit N Sleep picked up my old mattress and box springs and installed our new set. The entire experience was awesome! I had been avoiding Sit N Sleep because the commercials made it seem like a gimmick to me. In the 3 months leading up to my visit, I had ordered and returned the Leesa Mattress, I had ordered and returned the Purple Mattress, I had visited Ashley, Macy's, Mattress Outlet, and Orange County Mattress. The prices were high at Ashley and the selection was limited at OC Mattress. I had 3 months of bad sleep, and my body was ready for Sit N Sleep. I arrived on Friday night around 7:30pm. Chris Miller was the only employee. He helped some other customers and jumped over to help me for a bit. I was watching the way he helped another couple find their ideal bed and pillow to align their spine. They left very happy, and I knew I wanted that same feeling. It was 8:10, so we had 50 minutes to make the magic happen. I'm young and don't have back problems so I requested something on the plush end of the spectrum. He took me to his 3 softest mattresses. After moving back and forth, spending five minutes on each, I chose one. Then Chris brought out the pillows. I counted 17 pillows that I tried all while laying on my side on my ideal bed. Chris put this pillow beneath my cheek that was so absolutely perfect, I couldn't imagine sleeping without it again. Check out took about 10 minutes, delivery took about 3 minutes. My fiancé and I are sleeping great on our new Simmons BeautySleep Grand Cay Plush and it was $450 less than the Purple. My pillow is foam with blue cooling gel on one side. I sleep hot, and this pillow is cool for the first 15 minutes while my face warms it up. Enough time for me to get to sleep. I've dealt with 7 different mattress salesmen. Chris Miller was, by far, the least pushy and the most knowledgeable. Hopefully he is still selling mattresses in 15 years when I replace this one. read more

What a great experience we had with Diane at the Orange Sit 'n' Sleep store. We'd shopped the nearby competition prior to arriving there and were seriously impressed with her knowledge and the transparency of the entire transaction. We'd actually been told by their competitor that they couldn't give us a business card because they didn't believe in them and they wouldn't commit to the quote they gave us verbally by writing it down. Diane not only gave us a written quote, she included other options available through the store. No hard sell -- just tons of information. When I went back to the competitor to take one last look, they told me that if I couldn't make up my mind based on what I liked, then I should look at the negatives and compare those. I did just that -- and my business went to Sit 'n' Sleep, the company with the fabulous customer service and great prices. UPDATE: I sure wish they had something more than 5-stars. This company has their act together! I was told that we would get a phone call sometime after 6:00 pm and an email message the evening before our scheduled delivery to give us a 3-hour window. By 6:15 that evening I had all the information from both sources. Our window was 11:30-2:30 the next day. At 9:15 that morning I received a confirming call that our mattress would be arriving in "2 hours and 30 minutes." At 11:27, the truck arrived and 15 minutes later the old bed (including the frame) was removed, the new bed was set up, and they were on their way to the next stop. The guys were pleasant, professional, and fast! What a joy to work with a company that delivers on ALL aspects of customer service. Bravo to Sit 'n' Sleep and their employees. Well done! read more

Earlier today my family and I stopped at this Sit 'n Sleep store on Katella in the city of Orange. We came ready to shop for some specific mattresses that we had researched and were preferring to do a brick and mortar store that claims to be the best in the business. Unfortunately my family and I feel robbed of this opportunity and time as Chris Miller never had the decency to acknowledge my family and I after walking around the store and approaching him within 3 feet as he continued to talk someone else for about 15 minutes. Chris Miller could not even say hello or let us know that he would be right with us. I even forgot to mention that my wife said hello right after we enter the store. We walked out of the store but I couldn't bring myself to leave as I felt that he had been disrespectful to my family and I. I did walk back into the store alone and had to engage him because again even after he ended his conversation he did not engage in any sort of communication. I'm completely dissatisfied with the experience and even attempted to talk to Chris Miller but he completely seemed that he didn't care and gave a very blunt and unsensire sorry along with excuses such as I didn't hear and I was almost done. Chris Miller then wanted to complain about the other customer to what I expressed not being interested and that I wanted to get his managers card. He gave me the store managers card to what he failed to even mention was him. So when I called the store manager surprise surprise was it was him answering the call... Wow is all I can say. I told him you're the same person I just talked to in the store right and said yes and stated "I asked you for the store managers card and you could have said it was you and he stated I thought you wanted my card... I was in shock about another excuse and that he could not comprehend that I was upset and he was not helping diffuse the situation at all. Then before ending the call I asked for his supervisor or the next person to call to what he gave me the number to what later I found out was the general number for customer service. I did call the customer service number and put a complaint to what I have not heard from Jason the supervisor but it is still to soon and he might be busy. I'm completely in disbelief and part of me felt discriminated as Chris Miller seemed really attuned trying to help the only other person in the store a Caucasian female with a brand new top of the line Lexus to what he even joked and walked her all the way out as we continued to just look at him and still not get acknowledged. read more

We came and looked at a few adjustable beds and came back 3 days later and Chris remembered us and remembered what we were looking at. He showed us all of our options and answered all of our questions! I'm not often easily impressed but this guy truly knew everything about every mattress we asked about, in detail! Super overpriced with cheap quality. Their "professionally installed" bed frames are Chinese crap that bends with ant weight. They have replaced twice and they continue breaking.
