Alfred Abogado!!Store Manager at San Clemente- Thank you to Alfred Abogado for his patience and kindness during a sleep trial return from Los Angeles, which is where I originally purchased the mattress. For the exchange, I visited Alfred's store many times while trying to decide which mattress would be best for me. Unfortunately for me, first time around, I did not try the bed match technology that they talk about on their commercials... After the Bed Match Trial in the store Alfred suggested which mattress he thought would be best for me based on the bed match technology and also asked the right questions about how I sleep. It's been a very successful exchange! I Love my new mattress. No more waking up with a back ache or can't stand up straight. I highly recommend asking for Alfred for your salesman if you're in San Clemente or close by. While I was testing out mattresses I learned from Alfred all about the Sit and Sleep company and their history. Alfred is very proud to work at this establishment and couldn't tell me enough times how appreciative he was for his job and how well the company treats him... Honestly, it was refreshing to hear someone sing praises about the company they work for. Alfred is an exceptional salesman. He loves coming to work and it shows just in the way he greets you when you walk through his door. He has 17 years experience in the mattress world. Alfred is very well informed and knowledge about mattresses and he blew my mind with all the invaluable information he gave me. After four visits to San Clemente, Alfred helped me choose the right mattress. He never rushed me during this process... I'm grateful to Alfred for leading me to the right decision. I was at 3 different locations and San Clemente by far outshines the other stores as far as friendliness and going that extra mile for their customer. My original purchase was made in LA. I purchased a Serta Servant lll on 1/13/17 from the San Clemente showroom. The first mattress I received was off gassing, which I was told from Corporate was normal for a couple of days. The toxic odor was so bad that my wife and I could not go into the room because we would instantly get nauseous and terrible headaches. I closed off the room, stripped the bed and opened the windows. This went on for 5 days with no reduction in toxic off gassing.I drove back to Sit 'n sleep and was very pleased with the service I received from Lisa Loyd, sleep consultant. Within 48 hours I received a new bed. There was some very strong odor for the first two days but dissipated soon after. Try scented candles, it works. Thanks Lisa. I cannot believe the amazing experience I encountered. I walked into OC mattress looking to buy a queen bed. I was lied to about the size of the mattress and I was not treated like a person. So then I came to Sit' n Sleep. Not only was I extremely happy about the price of my new mattress but I was more happy about the customer service from Alfred Abogado! Since I'm only 19, other people treat me like I am still a kid. This kind, great salesman treated me like a respected adult. I have never had this amazing customer service anywhere. He made this process not only wonderful, but exciting to get better sleep. He was attentive, respectful, and very smart in what he was selling. He saw that I loved the bed and it was a little expensive, so he helped me into pricing as well. I wish I could give this man 20 stars in experience. Found a nice mechanical mattress for my mother who was moving into a senior residence and it seemed that Lisa had all the particulars down as far as sheets, headboard, and mattress for the needed delivery date. I got to wondering when I hadn't received my delivery confirmation call the day prior to the scheduled delivery date and placed a call to Lisa to find out why. Thank goodness I did call since Lisa was completely unaware that the mattress we selected wouldn't be available until the following week. During that call I became more and more uncomfortable and lost confidence that the new delivery arrangements would be correct. On the day before the new delivery date, I decided to make a special trip back to the store, rather than call again, and asked a gentleman to look up my order so that I could review each item to be sure things were all in order. Good thing I did since the sheets weren't available either! He made an adjustment to the order and found another sheet style to replace the ones that were not available. Kept my fingers crossed for the next day's delivery. Turns out that the delivery made it just fine, but the installer left the headboard unattached, leaning against the wall without explanation. Soooooo, I called Lisa again and she was unaware of the incomplete delivery. Since it was the day of my mom's move I requested that someone come out that day to install the headboard. I had to insist after Lisa asked if we could wait a couple of days for someone to come out. Yup, getting pretty irritated at this point. That evening the headboard was installed. I'm so incredibly stoked to have gone in yesterday, and even more stoked I didn't have to walk far to get there. I just moved to San Clemente and was in desperate need for a bed. I figured it wasn't even worth it to go in to this particular location, because I figured it would be very expensive with it being on the strip of el camino real and near all of the del mar shopping centers. Boy was I wrong and glad I listened to my stomach telling me to go and check it out. Within walking in the door, I was friendly greeted by the staff and very pleased at how clean the location was. The selection of all of the beds were great and everything was incredibly comfortable. Me being a college student and all, I needed to find something for a good deal that would be comfortable for my neck due to a surfing accident I was in awhile back. I told Reza about what I was looking for and my budget I was looking to spend on a bed and he instantly had a few suggestions on what would be good for me. Reza is one of the sleep consultants and I must say, he is very professional and will get you what you need. Listen to your concerns and ultimately not look at you as just a dollar bill. Needless to say after shopping around at a few other mattress stores, I ended up buying my bed the same day.So stoked that they have free delivery as well. Amazing price, and an amazing bed. I highly recommend this location, especially if you want great customer service, good deals, and a good bed to sleep on every night. We desperately needed a new bed! Our old bed was over ten years old and I'd managed to dig a nice trench on my side that was screwing up my back. I've always rebelled against what I consider some of the insane bed prices out there. That said, Lisa helped us find a GREAT bed, AND we opted to try out the adjustable base . . . yes, it was expensive, but after some friendly negotiating, we came in at what I would previously have considered a ridiculous price; however, after having slept, and read, and watched TV, on this bed for about two weeks . . . well, let's just say, you get what you pay for. I LOVE the bed and now my back loves me! One of the funny features was when one of our cats jumped up on my beside table and stepped on one of the buttons on the remote and my wife and I suddenly found ourselves sitting up! LOL! No worries though; love the bed. Appreciated the extensive time Lisa spent with us discovering our wants and desires and then turning us on to just the bed we needed. Oh, and the delivery guys, Andres and Raul, did a great job muscling our mattress up a tight stairway, as well as assembling the whole schmeer for us. No stress! Love this store! We decided to pop in and look at some mattress options & prices, with the intent of shopping around afterwards and not immediately purchasing from the 1st store we walked into. Paul was our sales rep. What a nice man. He spent all the time we needed with us, showing all the choices, not just the ones in our price range, but several less expensive ones, as well. We never felt pushed & he was very informative without getting irritated by all of our questions.
