We got the veggie burger and the yellow curry, and topped it off with two desserts: the cinnamon roll and the carrot cake muffin. The cinnamon roll was to die for. I would probably not get the carrot cake muffin again, although it was still good. The yellow curry was very filling. The restaurant itself was super cute with a ton of plants and a very cool ambience. The owners were super nice as well and were fun to talk to. If we were in town, we would stop here again.

I've dined in at Sita's Kitchen a couple times passing through Trinidad, CO! I love Sita's Kitchen and everything they stand for!! One of my favorite vegan restaurant in Colorado. I ordered the beet tacos this time and just fell in love. All their menu is raw based and just so healthy. The owners are flipping amazing and such great provider of customer service and provide a stellar ambiance!!!!

Delicious and peaceful restaurant. I was so happy to find a vegan restaurant. The falafel sandwich was full of warming spices and was delicious. The pickles are yummy, definitely get a side of them! Loved all of the plants. Such a cute town. We will be back the next time we drive through town.

I applaud the mission of sita's and the fact that they offer vegetarian and gluten free options for everyone. I however felt that some of the items where extremely overpriced , specially the chips and salsa which were not homemade but obviously from a sore bought bag. And For 4 dollars , we got a tiny serving . The salsa could have been store bought too, it did not have anything remarkable about it. For the main I had the jackfruit sandwich on flatbread which was good but over powered with the white sauce that comes with it.

I don't find myself in Trinidad, CO all that often. Actually, I've never found myself there until I was cross country roadtripping back to Denver. I started the morning in Amarillo, and once I crossed the Colorado border the flavor jets were in full swing. A quick Yelp search led me to Sita's Kitchen! Not really conscious of time while on the road, I must've popped into the restaurant as soon as they opened. The owners were still setting up shop for the day. It gave me time to review the menu and make a decision. The owners said they made the best falafel in the area. Boom, sold. The dining room was blocked off, which is a bummer because it's a very eclectic space with fun to look at decor. We passed the time by making small talk and in 10 minutes my sandwich was ready. I ran to my car, took a few photos, and dove in. When you're hangry eating becomes a barbaric sport, and that's precisely what happened here. Sauce running through my beard, crumbs falling down my shirt, making a flat out mess in my car. All that said, it was a pretty amazing falafel. Fresh, tender and crisp vegetables with a creamy sauce. I should've asked for 12 more napkins. Interesting place in an interesting looking town. Wouldn't expect a vegan spot here, but I'm glad Yelp did the work for me!

I liked being able to sit outside and enjoy a bowl of soup between Denver and Amarillo. Outside was ok except for the remarkably heavy traffic, complete with all associated smells and noise on corner of Main and Commerce. The soup was ok except I asked for mushroom and received vegetable. The service was ok. Never asked if I liked my soup.

We stopped here for lunch on a road trip and were so glad we did! The restaurant itself has a very calming and relaxing vibe. The owner was working there by himself, and even though the food took a little while to get out, I was really impressed how calmly and easily he was able to juggle six tables at a time while still giving everyone personal attention. I had the bliss bowl and it was so fresh and good it made my eyes roll back into my head! My husband also enjoyed the peanut butter and banana sandwich made with homemade bread. I'm very much looking forward to visiting again on our next road trip through the area!

Fresh, healthy, vegan and delicious food - all my favorite things! I had the bliss bowl with a side of falafel and it was really good! The standouts were the roasted Brussels sprouts and the tahini dressing - and the tofu ricotta ! I also ordered a drink that I can't remember the name of but it had pineapple juice, kombucha and CBD in it and it was not only good but I think the CBD helped a bit with some aches and pains I was having. I also split a cinnamon roll with my husband and I probably should have ordered my own because it was that good! The only negative I have is they are too far from Albuquerque for me to go to regularly. Oh also, they have plants all over the front of the restaurant and I love houseplants so that was cool too!

Excellent vegan food! VERY filling. I got the black bean burger (it's only available one or two days a week I believe), but it was delicious! I also got the strawberry and banana hemp smoothie which was also delicious! Only reason this is not getting five stars was because the employee (possible owner) taking our orders at the register was not friendly at all, and would mumble then get upset when asked to repeat himself. But otherwise wonderful food! A little expensive, but worth it for the quality!

I came in to get lunch with my girlfriend. We got a grilled cheese and a coconut curry. He asked if I wanted tofu- i asked if it came with it- he said no it would be another 6$ ontop of 21$ for the curry dish. all I did was laugh and say no thanks, and the guy started being condescending to me saying "inflation" and that I need to go back to school and take economics 101. Very uncalled for. But I brushed it off- then I notice They charged us 2$ for a small cup of tap water with ice. Look at this picture. HAHAH. He was really rude to me.

I ordered salt & pepper shrimp with fried rice and my husband got the orange chicken with steam rice that also came with an eggroll. They didnt ask for our drink order but did bring glasses of ice and a water pitcher. My shrimp was very good, first time I have eaten shrimp shell but it was fried so crispy that it didnt bother me. The building itself is great -- adobe-style, colorful, and exactly what you hope a Mexican restaurant looks like. When you walk in, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. We were greeted right away and seated immediately. Chips and salsa came out quickly. The salsa tasted fresh and traditional, but it had a little more kick than I personally can handle. (If you like spicy, you'll probably love it.) We also ordered guacamole, because we order guacamole everywhere we go -- it's kind of our thing. This one surprised us a bit. Instead of the usual chunky guac with onions and tomatoes, it was more like mashed avocado with a generous amount of red pepper flakes. Unfortunately that pushed it into "too spicy for me" territory. For drinks we shared a piña colada, which was fantastic -- topped with whipped cream and a cherry and exactly what you want after a long day of driving. I ordered the combo fajitas (chicken and steak) and they came out sizzling hot on the classic cast-iron platter with peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Always a good sign when you can hear your dinner coming from across the room. It came with rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole on the side. The rice had a nice smoky flavor and the beans were topped with melted cheese -- both really good. They don't automatically include shredded cheese with the fajitas, but they happily brought some when I asked. My husband ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla appetizer, but when it arrived we both laughed because it was enormous -- definitely entrée-sized. He said it was really good and had no trouble finishing it. Service was a little slow, but the place was busy and had a great vibe. It felt like one of those local spots people in town love. It's also right near the highway, which probably makes it a popular stop for travelers like us. Prices were about what you'd expect for a sit-down Mexican restaurant. No military discount, but overall still a solid experience. If we find ourselves driving through Trinidad again, we'd absolutely stop back in.
