My niche problem was that I have an aquarium fish tank. My water was unbalanced and needed to cycle the levels of bacteria. Part of the solution is to use lava stones. You can buy them at an aquarium store, you might find some at Lowes or Home Depot... but YOU WILL find Lava Rocks here, without any doubt nor chasing them on a hunt that could be frustrating. The staff were friendly and not just workers but I felt were well educated experts in the industry of landscaping. I found their prices could not be beat! I was able to pick up Lava Stones was cheaper than what pet stores and aquarium fish stores sell them for and extremely cheaper than retail hardware type stores like Home Depot.
