Items here run noticeably higher compared to larger, non-mom-and-pop hardware stores, which makes it harder to shop here regularly. Keys were $7 each, and I accidentally grabbed a key ring I thought was $6, but it had been placed on the wrong hook and rang up as $13. A few areas of the store could use better organization and upkeep. Items were hung in the wrong place or can't easily tell pricing. I came in just to make keys and ended up spending $30. When shopping for bath or kitchen fixtures, you basically have two choices: you can go to big box…read morestores (e.g. Home Depot, Lowes and other mass retailers); or you can go to specialty stores (e.g. Reback's, Pacific Sales, etc.). The product for the mass market distribution channel is considerably less expensive. The product sold in the specialty retailers have a lot more brass; have heavier construction, and less plastic. The quality of the finish is arguably more robust. The product in this Kohler Signature store is the specialty category. If a model is in high demand, delivery can be quick. Otherwise, it is a special order. Regardless, they do not carry inventory in store that you can walk out with. This is a showroom. But they do have designs not available in the big box stores. And you can look, touch and feel the movement of the hardware before buying.
