The lady that takes my order for delivery is always pleasant, the delivery is kinda slow but I don't mind because I'm at least 2 miles from the restaurant. Ok after going here several times I have to bump it down to 3 stars. Why? Because everything taste the same!! I have tried a few different dishes and they are all kind of the same flavor and kinda meh. Granted, it's been takeout and my first experience was sit down so maybe that's why? The general tso's is good and actually taste different from everything else but that's about it. The egg drop soup is really inconsistent. Sometimes it's crazy thick, like way too much cornstarch, and other times its done right. It's the closest and most decent Chinese (ive not tried their sushi or thai food) I've come across in the area but there is a certain chain Chinese restaurant in nearby Columbia that I would rather make the drive for. Great if u call or go during the day. Not so much at night. The lady who works every night is the nasty and rudest person you will ever deal with. I would post her name but I'm having trouble remembering it right this moment. It is my favorite for sushi in the area but refuse to order anymore if it's after 5 pm. I've been here twice and the first time i got drunken noodles i believe. The portion that i got from my meal was gigantic but i didn't think it tasted that great. The second time i went i ordered sushi and the quality was obviously not thru freshest I've ever had. The price is like the same as every other sushi place I've gone to. I probably ll not go back because i didn't think the food was that great but they did offer delivery which i may take advantage of. Whenever i have that craving for sushi and i don't feel like driving ill most likly call them to deliver to my house. read more

This little strip center restaurant has a great lunch combo - terryaki chicken or steak and some California rolls for a reasonable price. The food is very good. Only problem is that it is a pretty small place, so you can't help but feel crowded. Good quick lunch spot, though. read more

I've eaten here a few times now and have been impressed with what we've ordered, mainly on the Chinese portion of the menu. Homemade steamed dumplings are great. Egg drop soup is very good, $4.50 large bowl is huge - enough for 2-4 people to share. Last time we had an order of the drunken noodles that were tasty, but not as spicy as I like them. Dining room is small but clean and nice enough. Service has been good each time I've been there. Prices are reasonable. A solid Asian food option for the area. I recommend for a casual dining experience, but a group over 6 would have a tough time finding a table due to the small dining room size. read more

Their food is amazing!! I've only ever tried the general tso chicken and orange chicken, combination fried rice, and vegetable fried rice, and they are a 10/10. They have a lunch special every day from 11am- 3pm which is pretty great. I'm not a sushi eater, matter of fact I've never tried a piece of sushi in my entire life, but by the reviews of the sushi from this place I might have to actually try some! I've been going to Siu's for about a year. My business takes me near there on a regular basis. Even when I'm not too close...I'll go out of my way to go there. GREAT FOOD! EXCELLENT STAFF! Great sushi! I love the "love at first sight" roll. It was very fresh and filling. I mainly get take out, however it has a nice dining area. The non sushi items are pretty good. Pad Thai is good, Singapore noodle were great and the drunken noodles were just ok. Overall a great Asian option. read more

Food is nothing different than your standard chinese restaurant except a bit pricier.

The food was not good and gave me a stomach ache. It wasn't prepared well and it wasn't tasty. The sushi rolls were tiny. The noodles were dry. The peas and other vegetables were cooked from frozen. The servers don't know the proper way to refill water or take out dirty plates and end up all up in your grill. One of them reached in such an intrusive manner that her armpit was less than an inch from my eye. The little kid chairs are kept in the bathroom, right next to the toilet (in between the toilet and the sink), so I am sure they get plenty of fecal matter on them. I wouldn't put my baby in one of them. read more

I can only speak for the Chinese items on the menu. Some nights it is rather good. Other times it's been mediocre. The inconsistency makes me wonder if they have more than one chef, one/some of which who is/are better than the other/s. This is a great neighborhood option in SIlver Spring For Thai and Sushi. Easy to park and great for a quick meal or take out. As one other reviewer mentioned the Thai Chicken Basil is excellent - full of flavor and not greasy. The Sushi is always fresh and made to order. I'm always a little suspicious of establishments vaguely claiming to be "Asian," and featuring staples from the cuisines of three different countries, but Siu's has been a godsend since it opened in my area. Long story short: Don't choose Siu's if you're in a hurry (as other posters have indicated, they're not especially speedy with delivery; the sushi chefs also have a conspicuous habit of starting on your carryout order only when you actually walk in the door). But if you manage your expectations, their inexpensive sushi delivers exactly what it promises, and more! I'm hit with a maki craving about once a week; since Siu's hit my neighborhood, I'm averaging about a 100% self-indulgence rate. I tend to stick to the basics, and a miso soup/spicy tuna roll combo never disappoints. The shrimp tempura roll is simple, but delicious. I've dabbled in the specialty rolls, as well; their Goddess, Love, and Many Fish in the Sea rolls aren't bad, but you can get better value out of a combination of basic rolls. All in all, a great, foolproof place to grab lunch or satisfy a craving. I'm a regular. read more

Cool little place for sushi. I go there all the time for lunch, the waitresses are nice, and sometimes Siu herself works the register, she's great. They even deliver wine and beer as well as all their tasty food. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area who has a hankering for some good Chinese. read more

This place is disgusting. After I ordered my lunch, the waitress sneezed in her hand as she was waiting on another table. Instead of excusing herself to go wash her hands, she apologized to the guests, wiped her hands on her apron and continued with their order. She grabbed the menus once they were done and proceeded into the kitchen, passing the bathroom. When I mentioned it to the other woman behind the register, she approached her and the waitress, while holding 2 more plates, indicated she went into the kitchen to wash her hands (I highly doubt it!). She wasn't asked to re wash her hands. I can only imagine what happens when no one is looking. After my friend got on the phone and ordered his food, she (not sure who answered) kept on being rude. They have an issue assisting paying customers with orders then they shouldn't be in business. This is one of my favorite sushi spots in MoCo. They have the best spicy tuna rolls, and the specialty rolls like; the goddess roll, and caught in a bad romance are something special. The prices are a little ridiculous and they should expand their delivery radius by a mile. Overall, I've been dining at Siu's Asian Bistro for over 5 years and I still spend $60 on sushi easily for three people too frequently! Try it and hopefully Siu will read this review and consider expanding the delivery area. read more
