I spent $60 on a burger combo, chicken strip combo and the blandest cheese fries I have ever eaten. That's why they won't let you bring a cooler in. Because they need to make ridiculous amounts of money while they likely don't pay their employees anything somehow. This entire franchise is a scam. Don't waste your money man. My family and I came here on Father's Day weekend 2018. We had a lot of fun and my kids got to experience the fun I had from this place when I was a kid. The place looked a lot bigger back then when I was younger and it used to be called Wet-n-Wild. We rode a lot of the rides, I would definitely recommend the flash pass if you can afford it. Some of the lines took some time to get through, other than that most of the waiting in line was fast and simple of you have the patience. I do recommend being an early bird and getting here early as you can if you want close parking to the facility other mwise you will be parking across the street for $20. They do offer a military discount to veterans and active duty military. That was a plus in my book. They have standard and jumbo lockers. You can pay with cash or credit/debit card. Definitely get a jumbo if you have your family with you. And you can unlock and resuse as many times as you would like to until you are ready to leave the park. read more

Our usual favorite water park closed early for the summer due to covid so we decided on Hurricane Harbor. We haven't been to Hurricane Harbor since I was in High School and even then it was called Wet N' Wild. The price of the tickets since still at 50% capacity was $22.50 which is half the normal park price so that was amazing BUT the price to park was $30!!! Ridiculous to pay that much for parking...more expensive than the tickets. Anyway, so we bought our tickets online since it was reservation only on Monday for Thursday. We opted for a 10:30 entry but with kid deedle doddling around getting out, we got to the park by 10:50. Masks are required upon entry. Temperature scans were at the entry (large metal detector looking things) and straight in! Easy peezy! Once inside masks were ONLY required when standing in line at food places and shopping. Otherwise it was a mask free zone most of the day. We had a great time for having not been there in....almost 30 years...wow...that just showed my age! They don't allow food brought in but DO allow empty bottles as water refill stations are everywhere. They also do the usual collector cup of drink and popcorn so that's always an option for snacking. Refills on those are only .99 so keep them. The ONLY thing I would suggest is apply sunscreen every hour or so as the water rides really wear it off and bring some sort of river shoe or water sock shoe wearable swim shoe but OMG...the ground gets HOT. I mean searing hot!! Watching grown men run from shadow to shadow an wet area to shade to wet area...like watching a game of Hot Lava from childhood. Avoid it all together and take shoes you can wear in the pools and on rides. Wal-Mart has them for Uber cheap. Other than the skipping around we had a blast! Most food places were open, a good amount of options. Prices vary from $8-$15 a meal. The servings were large too! Considering going back again this summer if the prices stay the same. Regular price is $45 each and that just won't do. No pictures were taken as we left our phones and money in the lockers. Plan for that too. ($16) It takes cash/credit. Here's the deal...If you've been to a water park, you understand what you are getting into. There are some great slides and rides that are definitely worth going for, even if your aren't a huge thrill seeker. The wave pool is fun, and there are lots of splash pad areas for smaller kids to enjoy. However, like others have mentioned, the park is pretty dirty, and food/service is not great and expensive. Let's also remember that this park (formerly Wet N Wild) has been around for 30 ish years, and it is starting to look like it. Maybe my nostalgia from going when I was younger has allowed me to overlook some of these issues. My family loves the Lazy River, but it is gross. Putting your head under the water is a perilous proposition since there is so much junk/funk in the water. I am a tall/heavy guy around 270, so there were a few rides that I was not able to ride. Great medium sized water park. We went on a Saturday about an hour after it opened. There is ample parking. We carpooled because parking is a little pricey. Tip: look online at their website for cheaper tickets 3 days in advance or coke bottle promotion. It wasn't that crowded the day we went because it was overcast with a chance of showers. It turned out perfect 90s, not too hot, and shorter lines. Everything went well, we enjoyed the lazy river the most, just floating around in life jackets (provided by the park). Another tip if we went again we would buy some blow up tubes, because they didn't have any for the lazy river. 3 size lockers were available, we got the smallest and smashed our towels from home into it. I haven't been to any other watermarks in Dallas, but I'm satisfied with this one. Don't feel the need to look for another one. Just enough thrill and choice of rides/slides. This is my first time here and I'm from Oklahoma and we have our water park too. The size is roughly the same amount but this park has more "thrill" rides. The one thing my husband and I prefer here rather than our local water park is the fact they have the flash pass. The flash pass is 25$ per person and gold is 40$/person and the premium or platinum is 65$/person. So how is works is the flash pass lets you have a wait time for the main rides without you actually being in line so you can enjoy your time in the pool Or grab something to eat. Once your time reaches 0 then you go back to the attraction and scan your flash pass (wristband like) and then you go. You basically get your tube and then head up. The big rides have an additional wait once you get your tube but the wait is only about 10 minutes. The difference between the different levels is the wait time. The regular one you just wait the regular time. The gold wait time is reduced to 50% and the platinum wait is like 90%. My husband and I didn't see a benefit to either the top because we didn't mind so much and the regular you have access to all the other rides as well. From someone who is out of town, the flash pass is the guarantee we will be able to ride everything today. Locker is about 13$ for standard and 18$ for the large one as well. I honestly wish I could give zero stars. We went and had the most horrible experience. Getting into the park wasn't bad, as far as parking. But the line was insane, it was just annoying that there is no separate entrance for members like other Six Flags parks. Got changed and went to find a table or chairs to put our stuff on. Roamed around for way too long to find a single table to lay our things. Went to get in the wave pool and it was right when they need to close it for 15 mins for their routine check. Fine, no big deal. Went to get in line for a water ride. Almost none of them were open, and the ones that were had stupid long lines and took forever. Ended up getting out of line for that one to return to the wave pool once it opened. Decided to go to another ride, waited almost 1.5 hours to ride. AND THEN, after waiting all that time and climbing all the way to the top, my husband was told he couldn't ride because he was too heavy, even if he rode by himself, but the rest of my family and I were able to double up and ride with no problem. All that waiting for nothing. Needless to say this was extremely disappointing. We ended up leaving soon after, because really the only thing we could do was be in the wave pool and it was packed to capacity. You couldn't even move around in there, how is that even fun? I am just so upset because we are members of the diamond program and had never visited here before, and we were so excited to spend a day there relaxing and cooling off. Neither of those things were achieved. There were lifeguards just standing around near attractions that were not even open, so what is the point? It would be different if there was more open and experience, but that is impossible without attractions being open. I will not return to this location, And I will never recommend it to anyone. We live near multiple Waterparks but chose Hurricane Harbor on July 27 for a family day as the rides are best for teenagers. Unfortunately, many rides were not open, including the Lazy River. The Lazy River was CLOSED! My feedback is to add signs on rides stating they are Closed for the entire day or list an expected opening time. Blackhole opened at 12:30pm even though park opened at 11am. The Lazy River and Raging Rapids NEVER opened. I mean --- the Lazy River is an iconic part of this park! We also used the app to place a lunch order for our family. A few minutes later, we received a text the order was ready and it gave a pickup location. Unfortunately, the "pickup location" was also closed, and we had already paid via the app for the meal that was allegedly ready for pickup. (Our meal wasn't ready.) read more

We bought 4 tickets online just shy of $50 each/ 2 cars to park $30. Locker was $20. So we already in $280 just walking in the entrance. Go in and 11:15 only one ride is open waiting for staff to "check in" do they not get there ahead of time to be on duty when the park opens? Waited all day for rides to open. 8 rides open out of the 23 rides. We're adults so we got bored. Asked for a refund, they gave us comp tickets for six flags which is appreciated but not parking. The guy who was taking money for parking said not one word just took my card and gave me my receipt even tho I greeted him. Most of the staff was extremely rude. They should over a huge discount ahead of time when they know rides will not be open, I didn't really want comp six flags passes. We were all bummed and disappointed. I go to Hurricane Harbor once a summer with my family and we just went to again yesterday. It has changed sooooo much for the worst!! They've taken out so many rides (Forgot the name) and food items on their menus (Philly Cheese Steak & Fried Pickles). It's actually pretty upsetting since this is the first year I purchased a gold plus membership. The rides are super fun though! But we were going on the "Tornado" ride (The slide that's green and orange and as a super steep drop then makes you goes back and forth) and the kids were given a FLAT tube. They asked the lifeguard if it was safe and he said yes when it clearly wasn't. We set it on the concrete and they all got in and their bums touched the floor! Imagine how painful that'd be if they took it on the ride. I made them go get a new one and they were forced to go back to the end of the line. It was so so frustrating!! The lazy river was super dirty as always. It's very hard to relax in it when you're worried about catching something. The wave pool nonetheless is way cleaner and fun. The food was DISGUSTING. My whole family got the chicken strips. Last year they were pretty good but this year, they wwere TERRIBLE. They literally tasted like chlorine water. The fries were undercooked too! The rides have weight restrictions, which are understandable, and at first I was offended they wanted to weigh me when I'm clearly not more than 250lbs, but they weighed every one, I suppose to be fair. The weighing process should be done at the entrance of the ride-- before you climb all those stairs. What if someone who was overweight had to be embarrassed and go back down? I am absolutely in disbelief about what happened to my husband today. We spent over $200 on tickets for him and my son to spend the day here. My husband was waiting in line and three boys were pushing their way through the line, even knocking down a little girl. My husband told them that they need to wait in line. Next thing he knew, the boys complained to a security guard that my husband hit one of them, but not before calling him a "Cracker" and threatening to fight him. These are young boys! My husband and son were asked to leave the park, while the boys were allowed to stay. There was absolutely no proof that my husband did anything wrong and video footage was not reviewed. The way the security guard spoke to my husband was unreal. He actually bumped his chest against my husband's! Police didn't find that that my husband did anything wrong. We have lived in Arlington since 1997 and had season passes many years. and live near this park, but we will NEVER visit again. Disgusting! There are other water parks we will start visiting. He wasn't even allowed to take his drink bottle out of the park! We heard back from Six Flags and were supposed to receive passes to the theme park, but never did. I am a 70 year old senior citizen on A limited income who accompanied my grandchildren, son, and his wife to six flags texas on March 11th. First my backpack was checked to make sure I had no liquids. In order to obtain water I had to buy bottled water for over 3.00 a bottle. There were water refill stations for those who purchased a 22.00 cup. Employees watched at those refill stations to make sure only the 22.00 cup was refilled. All the water fountains were turned off. There were extremely long waiting lines for food outside in the sun. I feel charging such high prices for water is price gouging. Not having easy access to water is unsafe for seniors or active children. I would not recommend this park. read more

I absolutely love this park and have gone at least 10 times in the past two years. There are a good variety of rides for everyone and the park is pretty large. I do, however, highly suggest planning your visit to get the most bang for your buck. 1.) Buy tickets online at least one day in advance for cheaper prices or consider a season pass. If you have a friend with a season pass, you can also get discounted tickets. 2.) The park is busiest mid-day and on the weekends. If you go on Saturday/Sunday you can buy fast passes, but just know that there are going to be tons of people. The best experience for me has been going right when they open. 3.) Parking is extremely expensive. $25 for standard if you don't have a season pass. Consider parking outside of the park's lot. 4.) Lockers are available. Somewhat expensive at $14-$20 but can store a lot and are available all day. 5.) You can come and go from the park at any time as long as you get your hand stamped. There are lots of restaurants and fast food places around that you can go to for food that is about half the price of the food in the park. Have fun! read more

We live in the Ft Worth area so during the summer months we spend most weekends and usually one day during the week on average at Hurricane Harbor. My kids rang from ages 17 months to 10 years old. I have four and there is something for everyone to enjoy! We had a season pass this year but did not purchase a meal pass. We went to Hurricane Harbor on Saturday - family of 4 - two adults + 2 kids. We arrived close to opening, just before 10:30AM and the line was super long to get parked. We have a membership so we got free parking. There were already a bunch of cars in the parking lot & people inside (but not riding yet). Not sure what time they actually open the gates. I'm guessing maybe 10AM so people can get lockers & get in line at the rides. I'll remember that next time but we were in no rush with two little ones. We parked and got through the entry gates smoothly & quickly went off in search of a locker. We didn't stop at the first set of lockers because that line was crazy long. We walked down a bit further and found lockers with no wait in line. We put our stuff away and got the fun started. With two littles (age 7 & 4), we moved between the kids area in the back, the middle pool which was less than 2 feet, and the wave pool/lazy river. It was perfect for them & all they needed. We did bring our season cups & popcorn bucket and refilled those a few times as well. Glad I remembered to bring them. We got the kids a cheeseburger meal with fries which they split. We did change clothes in their locker/restroom area before we left. There was a bit of a line but not too bad. Decent level of cleanliness...not great but OK. Overall pretty good day. read more

I took my 11 yr old and her 3 friends on Friday, July 12. We went right when they opened. I had no problem finding a shady spot to sit. I had no problems getting a locker or food. It could have been cleaner, but there were workers walking around sweeping and throwing trash away. The lazy river was NOT relaxing. They let swimmers and people on floats in it. Kids are jumping and diving under floaters. I got hit in the head with a float because teenage boys were play fighting with them. There should be only floats allowed in the Lazy River and swimmers in the Wave Pool. The girls decided they prefer Six Flags, so we probably won't go back. read more

Absolutely ridiculous place! I grew up going to this place and it has changed so much that it is not worth it. First off... Google maps says that it is open until 8pm. It is NOT! It closes at 6pm and they do NOT give you ANY warning that the park will be closing. They will charge you $20 per person to have unlimited drinks from THEIR cups but you are not allowed to take them on ANY rides or even in the lazy river and wave pool. We went on a day that was 105 degrees but were made to get out of the wave pool and the lazy river for having a cup of ice water in a body of WATER! We had the all day dining pass and at one point went to get wings from one of the restaurants. We waited 20 minutes for 2 orders of wings while we watched others who waited even longer than us and had their orders passed out to people who had been there less time and even to people who the orders didn't belong to. The girl working our window took our order and then just turned her back to us while she ignored us and chit chatted with her coworker. Another young man had to come over and refill my husband's drink and asked them what they were doing with their backs turned to us and ignoring us. The young girl just ignored him and remained with her back to us. During this time one of the other young boys working there proceeded to yellow the f word and the n word repeatedly in front of a line full of customers. The worst part of our whole experience though was that we walked outside for a minute expecting the park to close at 8 rather than 6 and then was told when we realized that they were closing that I couldn't come back in to get my MINOR teenage children! LUCKILY we had thought it would be closing later so we had told my children to get a snack and wait for us at the picnic tables so I knew exactly where they were rather them wandering the park trying to ride parks. It wasn't until mama bear started coming out and I started to get loud and frantic at the gate trying to get to my kids and making a point that they knew that my children were minors still in the park before they would even let a security guard escort me 50 feet in to the park to where my children were so I could get them and all of our phones and possessions from our locker. I will NEVER spend money at the this place ever again! $350 for 4 people to have admission, food passes, and parking to have the worst experience while we were there and to be told that I was not allowed back in to get my children all because we were misinformed about the closing time. read more

I haven't been here in about 15 years and recently took my family for a fun day. Pros- large variety of activities for all ages. We went on a weekday and it wasn't very crowded so ride wait times weren't very long. I liked the fact that they had security throughout the park. Cons- more expensive than all other local water parks, staff doesn't want to be there and complain about not getting proper breaks, lazy river and wave pool are not what they used to be. River barely has a current and tubes now have to be rented. Wave pool barely has waves. You can't bring in food and their food is double the price of what other parks charge. I can live with that. My only real issue is the fact that you cannot bring in a cooler with water bottles. You are allowed to bring in 1 unopened water bottle or an empty refillable bottle. We brought an empty bottle to refill but the water fountain stations all had HOT water from being in the sun. We purchased a drink cup so our family didn't get too dehydrated/heat exhaustion, but good luck finding a location that actually has ice! Hot Powerade is what we got. It is basically inhumane to not allow people to bring in cold water in a cooler in this Texas heat. Some of the places will give you a small cup of water but you have to wait in line for a long time and they usually don't have ice. That's my biggest complaint, it is insane that you can't bring in cold water on 100+ degree days. Overall there are just parts that you expect to be crappy bc....it's a water park. And that's just part of it. I'm fine with that. They really need to think about safety in this heat for their guests. We had a fun day, but probably won't return anytime soon. read more

I will never go back, if I could give a zero star - I WOULD. I went on a Saturday and expected it to be a bit crowded. However, I didn't expect the park to close several rides down. Some of the rides were down all day without staff explanations. The lazy river was disgusting with trash and some of the areas had sewer-like smells. The food was disgusting and the adult beverages were slushies (with no alcohol). They have to do better. We ordered a vegetarian meal, asked 5-6 times if there was going to be any meat and were told repeatedly that "no, the meal would not have any meat" when they cooked it and served it to us it had meat- after speaking to the manager they said that they did not know why that came the way it did - poor communication between the waitress and the chef - the meal may have been good, but they ignored our request. I enjoyed this park with my 4 year old. Of course she couldn't get on a few slides but she was able to ride enough to keep her entertained. I have never been afraid of heights but I will say that the big black slide will make you uneasy as you climb stairs that seem endless. Cons: the parking....We also had a hiccup upon entry with retrieving 2 refillable cups that we purchased in advance but after 30 minutes of walking back and forth in the heat at the direction of guest services, I finally requested a supervisor who immediately resolved the issue and yelled at people for making me walk around. read more

I was there 5/27/23 and Hadn't been there since last year and no way of knowing the lazy River was empty and the wave pool had no waves‍ Not to mention I have platinum passes, I ordered food and was given attitude about the pick up window by the Manager on duty "David" at " the Surfside grill ". He put my order to the side and someone else helps me in less than a minute. I've had these passes for over 9 years and I'm seriously considering canceling them. The overall experience was enjoyable because there wasn't a long line for rides. I chose a day that I had hoped wouldn't be as busy and we got lucky. If it would have been busy it would have been awful. There is no shade while waiting for rides and for this Texas heat that should be illegal. The concrete is literally like burning coals. They need to invest in a different cover for the walk paths but I doubt that will happen. These places are only for making money not updating. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I can't express how nasty they were. Overall cleanliness is 2/5. The rides were fun and the lazy river wasn't too crowded but there is hardly any shade and no waterfall in the lazy river??!! This water park was very cute, because it was small but enjoyable. Compared to the Hurricane Habours in MD and NJ this one is very small but has all the good stuff but get the flash pass line can be crazy but I still had a lot of fun. Ahh Hurrican Harbor. I enjoy this place, and its a great place to go to during the summer. The more people you have generally the more fun it is to just wade in the water and people watch. There are many different areas and attractions from the wading pool that is between lots of slides, the wave pool, the jungle gym area, the wake boarding area and lots more. At Hurricane Harbor, no outside food/beverages are allowed. Which makes sense since they are trying to make money and the water is not cheap. I would recommend getting tickets online since its about $5 cheaper online if you buy them about 2-3 days ahead. Like any other water park or amusement park, the bathrooms are gross. (Legit this is everywhere, even Disney world/ Disney land) So really don't expect too much. Of course with all the people around you cannot expect it to be a 4-5 star water park. Cause then, youre just in the wrong place. If youre looking for a place to take your family and have the kids have fun in the sun. This is the place. The food isn't cheap, but there are ways that you can figure out something. (Share a dish/ leave and return to the park.) At the park, they can stamp your hand for reentry. read more

A friend called wanting us to meet them today at Hurricane Harbor. After circling the overcrowded parking lot, we finally found a spot on the very back row, employees were allowed to park on the grass, but not paying customers. The smell inside the park was that of sewer. There are signs stating if you have diarrhea that you shouldn't enter the water. It smells like it's much too late, and the color of the water gives you the same indication. The smell in the bathrooms are just as bad as a port a potty after a week. The lazy river should be the crazy, there were people that were just obnoxious, and the lifeguards were oblivious. Apparently its all fun and games til they get sued. Hurricane is a great description of this place. You feel like you have been through a $%#* storm at the end of the day. read more
