    Jersey burger

This breakfast/ sandwich shop place worth the visit! The place is small and they don't have indoor seating and the wait around 10-15 minutes. There is bathroom and some chairs inside and outside for costumers to sit while they wait for their food but this place is not big so it can be overcrowded. Now for the food...they were awesome! I had the Phily cheese steak that was the bomb and my husband had the breakfast burger consist of patties, egg, and cheese and I suddenly had a food envy and I ended up eating half of his breakfast burger. Overall, this breakfast burger/sandwich place a must try if you are in West Ashley area!

The sandwiches here are elite. I am working my way through the entire menu slowly but surely and I have loved every single one. I think my favorite so far has to be the spicy classic. They don't just make stellar sandwiches though, the staff here is amazing! They are so friendly every time I go in. Beware they close at 2pm and are only open Wednesday - Sunday so plan your cravings accordingly.

No seating so grab and go, took it to a park. Super busy and they are on top of it, moving quickly. The cheesesteak is delish! I'd add some more veggies next time, personally preference. The meat is so well seasoned and generous! The Italian was great, really loaded. $33 for 2 sandwiches. In line with other spots in the area that aren't corporate chains. I couldn't finish half of one. Will definitely be back to try other things.

Note that Yelp hasn't been updated for their brick and mortar! Check Google for the correct address for breakfast and lunch in west Ashley but the food truck is still doing dinners all over town. Always a great sandwich! Their breakfast options are huge and so well prepared. Their lunch sandwiches and the smash burger are great - especially the buffalo. Easy parking and super friendly service. This is a take out only spot so very low key.

When I heard the Wedge had a brick and mortar I just had to make the drive. It's a ways away from where I live but I just so happen to be out that way so I stopped in for a take out. The food really is delicious, just a little pricey. Would certainly go back though.

We are fortunate to live right around the corner from The Wedge. So far, we have been four times and enjoyed each time we ordered here. The place is small but pretty much operates on a takeout basis only with no tables to sit. People sit on some chairs outside or drop their tailgates. The staff are very friendly and even at peak hours you won't have to wait long on your order. On our first visit we went for breakfast, my wife getting their bacon, egg and cheese and I tried the Taylor ham, egg and cheese. The sandwiches were packed with lots of meat, perfectly fried eggs and ooey gooey cheese. I ate mine at 8:30am and at 2:30pm I was not the least bit hungry. We ordered the hashbown which was only one dollar, and it was very crunchy and nicely salted. The next visit was for lunch with my wife getting the cheesesteak and I ordered the chopped cheese. The cheesesteak was loaded with tender meat and was very flavorful. The chopped cheese was outstanding with its spiced ground beef swimming in yummy cheese. The jalapenos provided a nice spicy crunch, and the lettuce and tomato gave it some freshness. I will be getting this again! We tried the seasoned fries, and they were crispy and full of flavor. Our next visit was for the parms. We shared halves of the meatball parm and the vodka parm. The meatball parm had huge meatballs, plenty of sauce and cheese, and was one of the best one's I've tried. The true star and my wife and mines favorite was the vodka parm. Loaded with juicy chicken cutlets that vodka sauce took it to a whole new level. You must have this in your life.! We tried the potato salad which was made up of red potatoes and was a good-sized portion for four dollars. For our latest visit we tried the double cheeseburger and the newly added Reuben sandwich. The smash patties were juicy with a nice signature sauce on them and when we added bacon for only one dollar, they did us right loading it down with perfectly crispy bacon. The Reuben was piping hot when I got it home and the corned beef wad sliced super thin which made it very easy to eat. I was surprised that the marbled rye made it through the whole meal and didn't turn to mush. Definitely a competitor for top Reuben sandwich! They have added online ordering which is definitely a plus. Be sure to try one of their amazing sandwiches they do not disappoint!

A very unassuming and simple place, and SO good! The man behind the counter was super friendly and the chicken caesar wrap was very tasty. I love that this place offers fried chicken OR grilled chicken for the wrap, because I love fried in my caesar wraps. Make sure to eat it fresh. Will definitely come back and want to try one of the other delicious sounding sandwiches.

This place is my favorite spot for breakfast and lunch. Great food, great staff, great prices.

    Hangover add chicken! 20/10

Okay after coming here 3 times now since I heard their store front was open I'm blown away every time. First trip was my first time ever trying to food I've followed for a year or two now but couldn't ever make it. I got my husband and I both the buffalo chicken sandwich and we shared a classic. Second trip I got it again because it was amazing but I told them I'll be back because I really need to try the breakfast side of the menu. The next day I came for breakfast. I got the hangover but I added chicken cutlet to it. 20/10 it was so good. Everything I've had so far 20/10. And I can't wait to continue to work my way through the whole menu!! Not to mention the staff is great and I like the space not to much going on. Can get crowed but honestly you can't beat good food and the wait isn't bad either. So if you haven't go try them out you won't be disappointed! Great job Wedge!

Doesn't get much better than these sandwiches!!

I had their Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich as well as their Italian sub sandwich. Both were awesome, people working there very nice & accommodating. Highly recommended!

I got the classic burger with Brussel sprouts. $5 uncharge to swap fries for Brussel sprouts seemed a little steep for a quick burger joint but the Brussels were actually really good. Not sure what they were cooked in but it added a bunch of good flavor and there were a few pieces that had a nice crust on them. Our bartenders were also phenomenal and really added to the experience. We came to celebrate during my birthday and started with a champagne flight, which was such a fun touch. For food, we ordered the steak and eggs and the Applewood bacon omelette. My girlfriend's steak and eggs were phenomenal. Truly no notes. Everything was cooked well, the pacing was great, and we never felt rushed. I ordered the Applewood bacon omelette, and this was really my only disappointment. There was almost too much bacon, which sounds ridiculous to complain about, but hear me out. The bacon was diced extremely fine, almost to the consistency of bacon bits, while the onions were left sliced. I think it would have worked much better if either the bacon had been cut a little larger or the onions had been diced down to match. The textures just felt mismatched. I could absolutely see the vision, and the flavor was there, but the execution was a little off. I ended up regretting my choice a little and wishing I had ordered the mushroom omelette instead. That is definitely what I'll be trying next time. I also wish there had been an option to substitute the home fries. This is definitely more of a personal preference, but home fries feel so overdone as a brunch side, and I would have loved another option. Those were really my only critiques in an otherwise fantastic experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the bartenders were phenomenal, the pacing was great, and the food overall was delicious. Church and Union is absolutely somewhere I would come back to, whether for another celebration, brunch, or a date night.

I saw a woman who had just finished a conversation on her cell phone walking into one part of the L-shaped facility, so I followed her. "The host" asked whether I wanted to be seated inside or outside. I told him I had no preference. Landon, who became my server, then escorted me to the attached building, carrying menus and two glasses of water. Shortly after I was seated, Landon approached and asked if I would like a drink. I ordered a Margarita. Since I already knew what I wanted for my entrée, I also ordered the French Dip with French Fries. The French Dip arrived warm, but the fries were cold. When Landon inquired about my meal, I informed him of the situation. He immediately took the fries away. After I finished the French Dip, I received the fries. I do not know whether they were the original fries that had been reheated or a fresh order. Regardless, these fries were hot. Shortly afterward, the young man who had originally asked where I wanted to sit came to my table and removed my dirty dishes. Landon then brought me my check. Due to the circumstances, I was given a discount on my bill. Anyway, I did not hear either of them ask whether I wanted dessert. Perhaps because of my complaint, they just wanted me out. Oh well-- their loss! I really wanted to tried their Sundae! Landon again apologized for the cold French fries. He provided very good service throughout my meal, so I do not fault him for the kitchen's mistake. Based on the restaurant's L-shaped design, with two separate buildings and the kitchen located in one building while some of the dining area is in the other, I realize that meals may become cooler by the time they reach the table. Therefore, I would highly recommend requesting a table in the building where the bar is located. Lastly, serving water in a plastic cup, in my opinion, gives the restaurant a rather cheap appearance. Considering the overall setting, I would expect water to be served in a proper glass.
