Heads-up- traffic getting to this lil unobtrusive shop can be annoying so plan ahead! We came in around 9:30am on a Thursday hoping to score some yummy cold cuts for breakfast but we didn't read their menu well enough to see that they serve breakfast items from open to 11am, then from 11-2pm is lunch. While we were in the mood for lunch, our breakfast items were soooo good. I am very picky with eating breakfast at lunch spots cuz they can easily be a miss, but this place hit the spot and then some. I ordered their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese roll and it was gooey, hot, and delicious. My husband ordered their breakfast burrito and ate every bite. Beware that it comes with jalapeños! The nice lady taking our order recommended their Hangover sandwich but I am not a big fan of hash-browns in my sandwiches but my husband's burrito was super similar to it. Seems like a family business. There is no dine-in seating inside, and there are a couple benches and chairs but no tables outside the storefront either, so plan to do take-out. Super small and humble spot, very clean and our meal with two drinks and two entrees was $28.50, abt 8.50 per entree and drinks were $3 each. We can't wait to be back for lunch!! read more

This breakfast/ sandwich shop place worth the visit! The place is small and they don't have indoor seating and the wait around 10-15 minutes. There is bathroom and some chairs inside and outside for costumers to sit while they wait for their food but this place is not big so it can be overcrowded. Now for the food...they were awesome! A very unassuming and simple place, and SO good! The man behind the counter was super friendly and the chicken caesar wrap was very tasty. The sandwiches here are elite. I am working my way through the entire menu slowly but surely and I have loved every single one. I think my favorite so far has to be the spicy classic. They don't just make stellar sandwiches though, the staff here is amazing! They are so friendly every time I go in. We are fortunate to live right around the corner from The Wedge. So far, we have been four times and enjoyed each time we ordered here. The place is small but pretty much operates on a takeout basis only with no tables to sit. People sit on some chairs outside or drop their tailgates. The staff are very friendly and even at peak hours you won't have to wait long on your order. On our first visit we went for breakfast, my wife getting their bacon, egg and cheese and I tried the Taylor ham, egg and cheese. The sandwiches were packed with lots of meat, perfectly fried eggs and ooey gooey cheese. I ate mine at 8:30am and at 2:30pm I was not the least bit hungry. We ordered the hashbown which was only one dollar, and it was very crunchy and nicely salted. The next visit was for lunch with my wife getting the cheesesteak and I ordered the chopped cheese. The cheesesteak was loaded with tender meat and was very flavorful. The chopped cheese was outstanding with its spiced ground beef swimming in yummy cheese. The jalapenos provided a nice spicy crunch, and the lettuce and tomato gave it some freshness. I will be getting this again! We tried the seasoned fries, and they were crispy and full of flavor. Our next visit was for the parms. We shared halves of the meatball parm and the vodka parm. The meatball parm had huge meatballs, plenty of sauce and cheese, and was one of the best one's I've tried. The true star and my wife and mines favorite was the vodka parm. Loaded with juicy chicken cutlets that vodka sauce took it to a whole new level. You must have this in your life.! We tried the potato salad which was made up of red potatoes and was a good-sized portion for four dollars. For our latest visit we tried the double cheeseburger and the newly added Reuben sandwich. The smash patties were juicy with a nice signature sauce on them and when we added bacon for only one dollar, they did us right loading it down with perfectly crispy bacon. The Reuben was piping hot when I got it home and the corned beef wad sliced super thin which made it very easy to eat. I was surprised that the marbled rye made it through the whole meal and didn't turn to mush. Definitely a competitor for top Reuben sandwich! They have added online ordering which is definitely a plus. Be sure to try one of their amazing sandwiches they do not disappoint! read more

Okay after coming here 3 times now since I heard their store front was open I'm blown away every time. First trip was my first time ever trying to food I've followed for a year or two now but couldn't ever make it. I got my husband and I both the buffalo chicken sandwich and we shared a classic. Second trip I got it again because it was amazing but I told them I'll be back because I really need to try the breakfast side of the menu. The next day I came for breakfast. I got the hangover but I added chicken cutlet to it. 20/10 it was so good. Everything I've had so far 20/10. And I can't wait to continue to work my way through the whole menu!! Not to mention the staff is great and I like the space not to much going on. Can get crowed but honestly you can't beat good food and the wait isn't bad either. Solid deli food truck in the Charleston area! They pop up mostly around breweries and usually have specials. I ordered the vodka parm, which is a staple, and my husband ordered the hot honey ham special. Both sandwiches were super good and had great flavor. They don't skimp you on the meat, and the bread is nice and fresh! We also got a side of fries which were fine. We waited a while so we were hoping the fries would be warmer, but they did the trick. The staff is nice and they have plenty of options. They sometimes do run out of menu items so make sure to get there on the earlier side, but you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches! read more

I was very excited to take the trip on over this past weekend after hearing amazing things. There was a line out the door and pretty packed inside with a wait, but the staff were hard at work and very polite to everyone who stopped on in. The place itself was clean, had restrooms, and a bench to sit while you wait. The fridge and shelves were stocked with a variety of drinks and snack selections. Went here this past Sunday and they were PACKED. Line out the door for most of the lunch/afternoon rush, but the employees handled it so well and got food out quite fast for how busy it was. I thought we'd have to wait like 30+ minutes for our food, but I think we only waited 15. As always the sandwiches were amazing and well worth the wait. Maybe this is just a one-off but there was something very wrong with the chicken cutlet in my vodka parm - perhaps a bad batch, but I bit in and it was hard and extremely rubbery... We first found the wedge food truck at house of brews and were SO excited to learned they opened up a shop in West Ashley! Every sandwich we've had from here has been incredible. Our personal favorites have been the buffalo chicken wrap (was a special one time we went) and the spicy original! The new shop has a great and welcoming feel to it as well. I stopped in this morning for some breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I have heard nothing but positive glowing reviews for the food truck, so we decided to give it a shot. We each got a Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese, and let me tell you, that was the BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever had. No burrito, brunch place, homemade breakfast, or authentic philly pork roll can compete. It didn't need any extra seasoning or sauces or anything. Truly the most perfect breakfast we have ever had. Staff was very friendly and food was made quickly. One of the Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese sandwiches was only $8.50, and I would EASILY spend $12 for a sandwich that large and delicious. CHOPPED CHEESE!! This sandwich is incredible! My only modification was "light mayo". I almost requested jalapeños on the side, but I'm glad I didn't. The jalepenos were chopped into the meat and evenly distributed to give just enough spice that I didn't need to add hot sauce. It balanced the richness of the meat and cheese while the lettuce and tomato added freshness at the end. The bread was very fresh also. People were efficient and friendly and had a good vibe for a small shop. I ordered online and it was ready to go when I got there. There were 7-8 other people ordering or waiting already at 11:20 am.
