Salad was okay. Bathrooms haven't been cleaned in weeks. Trash was overflowing & toilets were so dirty. There were 2 people in line yet the service to order was incredibly slow. If you are looking for faster food, salads and wraps this is your place. Everything is pre-chopped and you can make your own salad they do have a couple of soup offerings, they are ok. This is a draw Ute food, not really flavorful as nothing is organic, I know we think often that if we just have salads it's healthier, not an obvious listing of what kind of oils are used. This location is a fairly generic suburb, but offers the same experience as the other local Verde's (I don't have any plans to visit the Columbia, SC location, but you go right on expanding, Verde). The customizability of these salads is excellent, and I got a ton of different flavors, as well as a nutritional powerhouse with such niceties as baked beans, pecans, grapes, and quinoa. Hummus on the side was fine, but not the best of the protein add-ons in my experience. The online ordering lets you get a bowl with just the plant-based options, which here is a lot of them. Rocking up and texting to get curbside pickup is easy and convenient, though this location also had a few tables outside if you wanted to eat there. read more

What a sad fall from grace. We've been loyal Verde customers for years, often ordering weekly and almost every time, something was missing or wrong with our order. We continued to go back even after the bad experiences (missing ingredients, missing dressing, overall poor quality - tiny salads, barely there toppings, etc.). This week was the last time. After another botched order, we decided we simply won't spend $15-20 on salads that are consistently wrong and/or poor quality. Many times I thought about contacting the owner, but I held off hoping if we waited it out, things would improve. Sadly, nothing has changed. I reached out to the contact email last Wednesday and on Sunday, I've received no response or acknowledgment of my feedback. Obviously, things happen and they might not be able to respond right away. My husband returned the salad for a full refund and even the employees (who were very nice!) said it was bad. But then again, they still sold it to us? I genuinely hope this once great local spot can turn things around. In the meantime, I'm on the hunt for a new local salad joint! read more

As we were going to Mount Pleasant for some evening shopping, my wife announced we'll get dinner out. My mind immediately went to "beer(s), burger and fries"! Excellent! I opted for a "Mesa Verde" salad and was pleased with it. My initial fear of being hungry after having a salad for dinner was quickly erased, as the weight of the salad in my hand as I walked away from the counter seemed sufficient enough to fill me up and it did. Service seemed a little slow, as there were several people ahead of us with what seemed like complex orders. We dined in rather than take away; the place is fairly barren and stark, again, but sufficient enough for us. Pricing seemed a bit high, but, what the heck. I used to work in the strip mall and was meeting an old coworker nearby and was so excited to pick up one of my old favorites!! Verde is the best place for a salad, made to order while you wait. You basically have 2 options to order: one of their special salads or you can build your own. The menu board lists all the items available, and you can ask them to add or remove items from their special salads. I love going here for lunch, and frequently choose the Southern Harvest salad, then add goat cheese and cranberries. The staff here is always friendly, from the order point to the register. There's usually a lunch time line, but it moves fast enough. One note about the salads, either have it chopped, tossed or in a wrap. Verde is great for your lunch time needs, and I would recommend it to everyone. Don't forget to pick up a frequent customer card. read more
