Dry, hockey puck-like burger. One of the worst.
    Adam B.

We went here before a New England Revolution game. It wasn't our first choice but every other place had an hour long wait vs. 20 minutes here. (That should have been a tip-off as to how mediocre the food was) We sat outside because the wait was even shorter, likely because it was a chilly 53 degrees. There were no space heaters and only one waitress for the entire outdoor section, who also seemed to be working as an inside hostess. We ordered burgers because they sounded pretty good on the menu ... and we noticed a few of the tables around us were leaving half eaten chicken sandwiches on their plate at the end of their meal. I love a good fried chicken sandwich and cannot imagine how bad it must have been to leave half of it uneaten. When I asked the waitress which people preferred, she kind of shrugged and said, 'I guess the burger'. But she also said, 'We are known for our chicken sandwich.' I think that about says it all. The burgers came out cold and firm to the touch. 100% sure these were prepped in big batches and then left under a heat lamp. There was 0% juiciness. It was dry and similar to a hockey puck. Asked how I wanted it cooked, I replied Medium. It came out well done. My guest's burger was also dry and underwhelming. There were no condiments on it ... I asked for ketchup and mayo and twice, our waitress forgot. I ate the dry burger because I had not eaten all day and my guest stopped halfway through. He got pizza in the stadium. After asking for condiments twice, I powered through the sawdust-like almost chewy burger. The waitress never even checked in. The french fries were decent ... I guess compared to the burger, anything would seem great. Salty and crisp and the best part of the meal. Our burgers were $20 each. An absolute travesty. It was similar to anything I've had in an airport, which is to say, terrible. Their beer selection sucked as well ... it seems like every beer you'd actually want to pair with a burger was absent from the menu. And the beers came in plastic cups. Most of the good stuff was in cans ... the other beers on draft were ho hum ... or high ABV IPAs. Most of the people around us also left half their meals uneaten on their plate when signing the check. Based on other reviews, I can see our experience wasn't a bad day. Literally shame on this place for the food and service ... there aren't many options on game days, so they are just taking advantage of their patrons with such lackluster offerings. The bathrooms are also filthy.

My husband and I decided to grab a quick bite after the Patriots game. Despite the long line, it moved surprisingly fast, and we were seated at a high table, which was unexpected with the post-game crowd. The place had a typical bar atmosphere and menu. He ordered the Korean fried chicken sandwich, and I went for the truffle parmesan chicken tenders. We were so hungry that I completely forgot to take a picture! He wasn't too impressed with his sandwich, and the tenders were just okay.

We just ate here before the Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks concert tonight, and I really am impressed with how well they're handling the crowd. We were seated within a half hour, and the food came out quickly. Our server was still attentive despite the crowd. The food was all fine, nothing crazy outstanding but the burgers were the highlight as they were cooked to a perfect medium rare. I wasn't a big fan of the dry rub on the tenders unfortunately. Cool vibe with the stage and Nashville feel.

Cool bar. Horrible service. Sat down at a bar seat and the bartender told me to "get up or get out" because he was saving it for his buddy (seat hadn't been occupied in 40+ minutes - I was standing behind the empty chair for the entire time and 40 mins is not an exaggeration). White dude with a terrible hair line and a beard at the back towards the projectors. Forcibly (cannot understate this - literally crushed the can in my hand ) took a high noon out of my hand and spiked it in the trash saying "you're done buddy". Really strange behavior, especially considering I said that I'd be happy to get up when this mystery person came back (literally just wanted to order a seltzer and then go stand with my friend group). Would rather drink mcgillicuddys nips alone in the enterprise parking lot than be near this clown at a bar. As proof that I was not just your typical upset drunk person (which there are plenty of) I've attached my credit card transactions for the day below. Total of 4 drinks purchased. Would never tell pats fans to not go here because it's a great venue. Big, open, and typically rowdy. But stay away from this guy.

3 stars seems about right for the dining experience here. I bet seeing a show would be a lot of fun, but we stopped by for a meal before a game at Gillette. It was one of the busier restaurants in Patriots Place so we figured that was a good sign. We had some drinks -- the spicy mango margarita was too sweet for my taste, and really not spicy at all. The gumbo was tasty but came out a bit cold. The veggie wrap was fine. Chicken sandwich was not the best I've tasted but was fine. Overall just average but does the trick before a game. I'd try somewhere else next time.

Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Not worth trying.
    Eric D.

I had high expectations for this place. Was in town for an event and decided to stop in here for takeout. My buddy and I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife got a flatbread pepperoni pizza. I was looking forward to trying their Nashville hot chicken sandwich since I saw it featured on a few blogs somewhere and if I remember correctly maybe even phantom gourmet. Maybe it was a off day but that Nashville hot chicken sandwich was blah. Had no taste, chicken was nearly dry and had absolute no flavor of any kind. It was really disappointing. My wife lovessss pizza but not this pizza. I had a taste and was not a fan. They could do much better on that. Maybe they're better with other items on their menu but pizza and hot chicken sandwich, I'm sadden to say but steer away.

Breakfast sandwich without bacon. No aioli. Meh...
    April K.

Service was great. Atmosphere was fabulous. Food was just okay. Breakfast sandwich had no aioli and hubs flatbread was okay. Sons wings were super saucey. Only his fries were hot. Everything else was barely warm.

Located in the large Patriots Place complex, full of shopping and many restaurants, it can be a bit of a walk from the parking area. The exterior and interior are just as we remember. A hostess greeted us at the door and sat us immediately with menus. Menu is the same as last visit. Lots of Asian and Mexican influened dishes along with pizza. Menus are a hard cover, book style and the pages are showing their age. We got two half sheet pizzas. Each can easily feed four people. The mozzerella on the Margarita was rubbery this time around. That may happen because of hot 'pizza oven' temps or it could just be low quality. I reheated some left overs on low heat and the cheese did melt OK and had less of a rubbery texture. The crust is thick and crisp on the bottom. The tomato sauce is sweet. The second pizza was a buffalo chicken. It was plenty spicy, lots of cheese, nice drizzle. Not much chicken. All in all it was a tasty pizza. Restrooms are clean. Service good. Plenty of shared parking.

My wife and I frequent Patriots Place, not only because we live a short distance away ( Canton ) but it's also the home of our favorite football team and we've always enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the stadium and the different venues that surround the area. It's just that we felt that something new and fresh was needed.....enter the amazing Estella Restaurant. We learned that they've been open since October from Sadie, the manager that stopped by to check on us mid meal. I was beyond giddy and my wife was also. What I didn't mention was I've been a chef in the industry over 31 years and been to restaurants from here to Jamaica. This is the first restaurant that has WOWED me in a very very long time. No exaggeration whatsoever Also some of THE BEST prepared drinks we've had in a LONG time!!! Patriots Place could not have added a better restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm smile and welcome by the hostess Tamera. I honestly can't lie, I've NEVER been to a more elegant and very well artistically decorated ( amazing golden painted symbols against black walls with artsy vases that sit behind a wall of glass, behind that is the kitchen ) and insanely clean with the awesome sounds of r&b playing in the background. The vibe? Perfect!! Our server Joe couldn't be more friendly and attentive. The brunch menu was very appealing. I ordered the Estella Brunch Burger and my wife ordered the Crab Hash. Both tasted great, insanely fresh and just plain excellent!!! I peaked at the dinner menu....goodness gracious!!! Can't wait to return and give it a go. Have you ever been somewhere so great that you just didn't want to leave? Well in the famous words of The Terminator "I'll be back" See you again soon Estella. The mozzarella was so smooth and creamy. Tasted like they make it fresh. My wife had the steak tips. She liked them. I had a bite. It was fine. But at $40 you'd be better off going to Conrad's in Foxboro where they have the best steak tips for about $22 now. That being said, we really liked this place and would come again.

Perdue chicken nuggets in the air fryer with a side of whatever sauce you ask for & charge $12 for it. It was also really fun when they dropped off the apps with no plates or silverware, we had to ask & it was literally take out silverware. The actual throwing of the axes is fun if you want a glitchy game that's going to skip players on your team, not record points etc. Ambiance? Not it, you pay $10 a drink to sit in bright lights. Where we are sitting there's like a workshop area that looks unsafe for patrons & behind us is dents & scuffs in the wall. Also my male friends used the bathroom & lifted the seats & they were covered in feces Also OSHA would have a field day here. Where we were sitting I could reach a power drill & a torch. That's wildly unsafe & not right. If you want to throw axes go to stumpies in Fall River. 10/10 will not be back.

Now Blondie have done a great job updating and improving the restaurant, dining areas, and turned the location into a welcoming BBQ restaurant. I have been wanting to stop in to try as I eat at all the bbq spots . I order ala carte a sausage, the smoked wings, small order of ribs, a side of shells and cheese. The ribs were very good and meaty and fall ofc the bone tender. The wings had a nice smoke flavor and heavy dry rub seasoning. found the dry rub a bit too much for me and wax more Texan or Kansas city style vs Carolina or Georgia style . A bit dry but with a dip in bbq sauce, they were good. The sausage was dry and expected more juice dripping out . The shells and cheese was very good with the shells cooked perfect, cheese and the toast crunch season on top was a plus. They offer free cold water which is courteous as I want in mood lunchtime for a Texas state beer. The girl at the counter taking my order was especially helpful guiding me how to order and checked on me twice to see how all was after I was served. I think this is a nice addition to the area and a real deal barbecue spot smoking the meat real deal. I'd like to see more options or specials ...burnt ends , a corn on cob summer option, cucumber salad or other sides, a honey biscuit or real deal cornbread with smoked corn kernels in the mix, A smoke biscuit and grilled shrimp tacos ? A 1/2 pound burger or smoked chicken sandwich... I figure the owner will keep figuring out what's popular as location draws alot of working types wanting a reasonable take out lunch to eat on the run in their truck and dinner crowds move local families in Foxboro for bbq feast. I'll stop in again to try the brisket or other items . Good to see a new restaurant there succeeding .
