So today I decided to take my kids to Sizzler as I've never been, and well let's just say I wish I would have taken them some where else. The place was empty, the food was mediocre and the place kind of had a weird smell to it. Our server was great but that was about the only positive thing about the place. Excellence!! I walked in to make an order to go. The gentleman at the register was very polite. We chatted a bit while the order was being prepared. He offered me something to drink while I waited! Nice salad bar that includes a lot of taco fixings including tortillas, tortilla bowls, etc. Always seems clean and well stocked compared to other Sizzlers I have been to. I do not live in the area but pass through and seem to return here. Thus, it is consistently good for a quick meal. Staff is generally helpful and attentive so no complaints. read more

I've been coming to this Sizzler for a few years now. My dad loves Sizzler! The food is always okay, nothing special. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite being a busy Saturday night. Anytime we have a little extra cash to go out to eat, we come here. The staff is incredible, the place is really clean and for the price, you can't beat it. They have the best burgers in town, the salad bar is OK...could use some variety but for the most part, we really, really like it here. We eat here a lot. I come here about two times a week. The place is very clean, people are extra nice. What I really love is the salad bar! There is always a lot of different choices of fruits, vegetables, toppings and dressings. What's better than that? The awesome tacos, chicken, soup, meat balls on and on... I haven't been to Sizzler in years but decided to stop in with my son because he wanted to try it. Reluctantly I agreed. We both got the all u can eat salad bar and it was fantastic! Really fresh salad and veggies, good chili, and choice of two soups, taco/burrito bar with carnitas or turkey taco meat, guacamole, nachos, wings, pizza. Really good value and very well made food. Be sure to get some garlic cheese bread! I will be back for sure. read more

Five stars for two reasons! First, our waitress Angie was amazing, friendly and attentive. Second, the manager Ramon was the same! My daughter had an accident with spilling drinks on our table and both Angie and Ramon made us feel comfortable and they accommodated us as my daughter was embarrassed for creating a scene during dinner. We stopped here during a road trip. I usually love Sizzler and will drop in when I see one because I love their clam chowder, but this was the worst Sizzler I've ever been to. Our order was taken by a man who I think is the manager. He was very gruff and not pleasant at all. We all ordered the lunch salad bar. The quality of the food was very bad. Everything tasted bad. I've been to many Sizzlers, so I know what it should taste like, and something was just wrong with this Sizzler. This Sizzler, located off the 15 at Magnolia and Rimpau, is dependable. It's consistently decent food at a reasonable price. The pros are that the restaurant has a lot of seating area and we have always been able to sit wherever we want, except during a banquet (which is rare). The staff is friendly, competent and attentive. Silverware is a little shabby and looks like it's falling apart. I swore my fork looked like it was going to break off. But oh well, you get what you pay for. I still miss the old days when a Sizzler meal came complete with a side salad. I don't care for the salad bar. The all-you-can eat shrimp is good though. My wife and I had not eaten at Sizzler in over a year, and tonight we were reminded why we don't eat there. First of all, the salad bar is up to $13.99 per person, so for the two of us with drinks it was $34. Then my wife goes up to get some food and notices the chicken wings were dry and cold looking. The soups had no covers so the broccoli cheese soup had that skim on it. After we talked for a minute we realized that it wasn't worth the money we paid so we asked for our money back and left. This is the go-to nearby restaurant for my wife and I. We're in here a lot! And it has a lot of really good qualities! The best feature at this location is the salad bar, which is really first rate: it is kept fresh and well-stocked with good ingredients and a good selection. The soups are quite good, as are the chicken wings, and most of the other items from the hot portion of the salad bar with only a couple of exceptions (notably the hot cheese, which usually looks not-so-great). The worst quality of this location -- which is really consistent -- is that the kitchen has no idea how to cook a sirloin or New York strip steak. They are always, forever, and inevitably at least a little over-cooked, and about a third of the time, they will be wildly over-cooked, sometimes to the point of meat torture. It has become a significant source of humor for my wife and I, who have all but given up on getting a well-cooked steak at the first attempt. We went tonight, my wife ordered a New York strip medium-rare, and it came to the table well done. It was in no way red... brown all the way through. Even our waitress was stunned, and back to the kitchen it went. I could understand under-cooking a steak for financial reasons or reasons of being in a rush. But steaks at this location are never under-cooked, they are always over-cooked, forever and always, amen. Maybe the chef's dogs get any returned steak and they like them well done. So order the things that this location does do well, which are shrimp, fish, and chicken (ironic from a restaurant that prides itself on steak, but whatever). I have never gotten bad shrimp at this location, either fried or scampi. In particular, the jumbo fried shrimp are always just heaven: breaded to perfection, crispy, and with the meat perfectly cooked. My wife really likes the Italian Herb Chicken. The sides are also quite good... very good baked potatoes or fries in particular. So despite the steak problems, there's lots of good food to be had here! Cleanliness of this location is good, clearing of tables is generally done quickly, and the layout and decor of the restaurant -- though slightly dated here an there -- are also just fine. There usually aren't *quite* enough wait staff working, so they usually look and act pretty harried, but the staff they have are excellent. You won't have problems with them forgetting your requests or getting them wrong, just the occasional problem of finding them or waiting for them. So visit! Order the jumbo shrimp with fries and the salad bar, and you will be happy with your choice. Or, you know, order a steak and roll the dice... read more

Went for dinner tonight. Our med rare steaks came out well done and dry. Less than attentive waiter. No refills on drinks for me but my husband was offered one. Our salad plates were delivered to us as our waiter held the dust pan and broom in his other hand. We used to go to the Sizzler on Hamner Ave in Norco. Since they closed this is the only Sizzler in town. With tonights experience, we probably won't return. It's really unfortunate because we do like Sizzler...just not this one so much. read more

I decided to take my family to Sizzler for dinner last Friday night. The waitress was nice I tipped her. The food is terrible I guess that's why you pay first. The serving sizes are a joke. Cool if I was 3. My wife ordered Malibu Chicken which sounds great. She thought it be grilled. Nope it was more like Compton chicken. Lol. It a 99 cent store patty with a slice of ham lunch meat on top with microwave melted cheese. Yuck. My kids could have made a better dinner. My steak was tiny. For a Sizzler, it's perfect. Was there on 10/10 & the Mgr was more than accommodating and without question made dang sure we were happy. The crowd was mellow, the room clean and food was fine. While not as cheap as it was when i was a kid, it is still worth going for trips to the salad bar, the included bread and the ice cream. Laid back atmosphere, cold beer, great service. This Corona Sizzler has the Worst salad bar, very minimum and food was tasteless or salty, clam chowder was watered down and salty, no butter for the rolls, oh, the rolls taste like paper. Also their idea of bread pudding is a pan of Moist cinnamon rolls you buy from the grocery store and poured some kind of sauce to soften it. If one has not visited any other sizzlers then you would NOT know the difference and would think this is a great salad bar for Corona....sad.
