The quality of food has apparently went way down and the prices have risen. The steak we ordered had a lot of gristle and fat and was hardly fit to eat plus it was not cooked as we requested. The person who took or order was quite snotty and rude he should not be dealing with the public at all! This restaurant used to be so much better its a shame. The only good thing i can say about this Sizzler is that the waitress was quite nice and efficient! If any one really wants to have a good steak I suggest for the price you go elsewhere and visit a decent steak house! This is a very large location. It is always clean, but very busy especially after church on Sundays. The service is very good and always prompt. All of the people who work here always have a smile. My wife and I took the kids and a friend of ours here as the Sizzler in Lake Elsinore closed because they could not renew the lease at a fair price. The Sizzler in Murrieta was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and the manager on duty was constantly walking around and making sure everyone was happy. The staff was constantly cleaning around the salad bar and always asking if anyone needed help. The place itself looked as if it was brand new and more like a full blown restaurant than a Sizzler. I had their salmon here, it was pretty neat. Really pricey for what you pay, though. A lot of the notable items are finger foods, like chicken wings, onion rings, salads, and you get to make your own tacos. At first, I thought you were supposed to order an entree before seating yourself down to eat. Well, apparently not. You can just ask to do the salad bar. I think it's kind of nice that you don't get to overwhelm yourself with vast food choices. There's not much selection in the savory section, but there was a lot to choose from in the salad. Still, really pricey for what it's worth. I only come here when I visit folks, cos my Uncle seems to be a big fan of this place. I haven't been to Sizzler since high school and I remember it being like...affordable. High school kid food. Went back today and I was like, "Wow Sizzler got fancy...!" Anyway, the salad bar was much cleaner than I remember. The variety was there, my husband got some steak and shrimp and he was happy with it. The waitress was superrr nice. Like seriously, everyone working there was so accommodating! As far as the food goes, maybe 3/5 stars. It's decent but pricey for the quality which is mediocre. Not bad, not amazing. Just standard diner food. The service however gets like 6/5 stars. We will definitely be back because they made us feel comfortable and the place was really clean. It's THE best Sizzler I've ever stepped foot in, the decor, the service, the salad bar, the food and the rolls, omg forget the garlic texas toast, I'm coming back for the sweet rolls with honey butter, it was fantastic. I always get the steak & lobster at every Sizzler I go to, and this place did not disappoint. The lobster was melt in your mouth tender and my steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. I also think they sprinkle crack in the sodas because my soda was more delicious than usual, everything about this place was great, can't wait to come back. read more

Worst day of my life for a dinner. And it was Thanksgiving day to top it all off. First, the food was horrible. I decided to have some soup but when I took a whiff of it, it was spoiled. Second, I had pasta. The noodles were hard and tasted like plastic. Third, the service lady, Taylor honestly was interrupting the whole time and kept getting in our personal buisness. I never want to go to this sizzler any time soon. I prefer Souplantation because of there better options and service. What made me most FURIOUS of all was that a customer was taking a video and photos of a poor teenager fainting and the paramedics coming. Defitnitly one of the nicer Sizzlers I've been to in awhile. The resturant was brightly lit and I didn't feel the need to go inspector mode at the salad bar which is usually the norm for buffet type service. I coud've skipped the salad bar altogether and just ate those homemade rolls with whipped butter and washed it down with that frosty glass of strawberry lemonade! AC was pumping and the family enjoyed lunch and several trips to the salad bar with ease as it wasn't packed with the usual crowds. Service was ok. This is the nicest Sizzler I have ever been to. It was renovated a few years ago and it looks much better than standard Sizzlers. It has an open layout and modern-ish decor. I opted for the salad bar instead of an entree. The entrees don't look too appealing, but I didn't try any and can't say anything. There wasn't anything special about the salad bar. It's your typical run of the mill salad bar. It has enough options to serve as a dinner. This Sizzler was impressive because of the dining experience, but the food seemed to be the same as it is at other sizzlers. read more

I love Sizzler, but something hit me. For the last couple of years I did not frequent the restaurant because of time or travel. However, the last few times I was there I noticed that when you pay for your meal with an ATM or credit card, there is no line on the receipt for the tip. As such, you leave the tip in cash on the table. I am one of those who do not carry cash and I use my ATM just everywhere. So, there have been many occasions where I am hungry and not carrying ones or five dollar bills, so I do not go to Sizzler because it is a hassle to stop at my bank and get cash. This situation needs some attention and correction, otherwise I will continue to use regular fast food places or restaurants that let you tip at the counter when you pay with a card. The star goes to the server only since he was good. The restaurant experience was horrible. The server had to go home because they were slow. I was promised that another server would take care of us, but no one came to the table. The food was cold and the baked potatoes were at least a day old. Butter didn't even melt on them. Here visiting with my brother and family. He decided to go here after church and his choice was excellent. This is my first visit and I wanted a place with vegetarian options. I had their salad bar and it was perfect. There were options and all were delicious. The staff is professional and courteous. The bar area is clean and no cross contamination from non plant items. So if you want a place for family or friends with different dietary needs this is the place. I will return before going back to the east coast. read more

I can't believe how far Sizzler has come! Last I checked the company was bankrupt and closing locations left and right. Now this establishment pops up and WOW! Prices have gone up quite a bit, but that's to be expected really, and the food is rather delicious. The salad bar is kept immaculately clean here, with near constant attention from staff. Okay...shocker here but Sizzler was great! I get this weird thing every few years where I crave Sizzler. I grew up in a small town and Sizzler coming to town was an awesome event and the food was great. After moving around I realized Sizzler was Hometown Buffet with a slightly better selection...but you can still get great Sizzler some places. The place has been freshly remodeled and it looks great. I didn't see it before but it looks nice now...the pics on here aren't new. The salad bar is fantastic and has a hot bar for tacos (Carnitas and ground Beef) with fresh salsa and guacamole. Also Mac N Cheese for the kids and Spaghetti. Soft Serve Ice Cream... We plowed is all I can say and I will not be waiting a few more years to crave it. $5.99 for kids salad bar is great and you can get a meal for $9.99 that includes the all you can eat salad bar. This is the busiest and best Sizzler in the whole chain. A well-oiled machine that is lead by seasoned owners and management. This a not a fine dining experience, so don't expect the extra frills. However, if you want a good meal for a fair price, you will find it here. Salad Bar: I really like their salad bar. It has so many options that it becomes a satisfying soup to salad to entree to dessert meal. The speciality salads on the end of the bar are the best. Healthy, creative salads that use great ingredients including many superfoods. Great soups choices that are always hot and flavorful with lots of protein. From wings to carnitas to spaghetti to many other choices, you will find your favorites. Steaks are always tender and tasty. Tri-tip is smokey, moist and melts in your mouth. Don't be afraid of the line hanging out the door during peak-times. They know how to move people along, and you will be eating before you know it. I haven't been to a Sizzler since my childhood, and I was a little surprised - pleasantly - by my recent experience. I went to this location as part of a large group celebrating a retirement. I opted for the traditional salad bar. Not surprisingly, they call it the "Craft Salad Bar" now. I guess their branding team is trying to ride the coat tails of the beer scene. Anyway, they had lots to choose from. I managed to fill three plates without getting seconds of anything. The best part though was the staff. They were a little behind when we first sat down, but by the end, they were clearing plates and refilling drinks faster than I could want. They were super well mannered and pleasant as well. These guys do gluten free steaks and yams for my wife. Doesnt sound like a big deal but they clean everything to avoid cross contamination. The manager (whose name I wish I remembered!!!) always checks the order and comes and talks to us. Again, even when they're busy. This isn't the most expensive place but we perceive great value in what we get, so we patronage them. If you haven't tried them in awhile, give,them another shot!! read more

My amazing children surprised me for my birthday today and took me to Sizzler's. I have not been here in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed this visit. Our server Chris, also called Christopher, was awesomely fantastic. He was so attentive, had a warm smile, and made sure the entire family was satisfied with their meals. Give him a raise! I didn't really want to be recognized on my birthday, but my children insisted. As embarrassed as I was, they still made the song and ice cream very pleasant. I hope to be back again. read more
