We were charged an additional $1.50 for each add-on, yet my salad arrived with zero goat cheese, only four tiny slices of red beets, and five tiny slices of gold beets. Cubby's has always been notoriously stingy with the beets, which is exactly why I paid extra for additional toppings. Instead, I ended up with even less than the standard portion. In the end, I paid $18 for what was essentially a bowl of spring mix with two slices of avocado, three orange segments, no goat cheese, and nine paper-thin slices of beets. That's unacceptable. To make matters worse, we tried calling to speak with a manager, but the phones were turned off at 8:15 p.m., even though the restaurant advertises that it's open until 9:00 p.m. This was the last straw with Cubby's. The night shift clearly needs better training and quality control. Charging customers for extras and then not including them is not okay. If you want to waste your money on food that is carelessly prepared and doesn't match what you paid for, this is a great place to go.

The waiter saw how much he loved them and threw in an extra set for the hotel room. Music was a bit loud for my taste, but I chalk that up to the road trip and exhaustion. They should take this into consideration when pricing. There are many other breakfast buffets that are priced much more favorably and usually have a bigger selection. I opted for the western omlette. It was served with potatos which were fine. The omlette taste fine but was really scrambled eggs with ham and veggies mixed in, cooked, then folded in half and topped with cheese. An omlette with the veggies and cheese stuffed inside a thin egg base is always so much better. Hotel food is usually about convenience, so I got what I expected, decent service, acceptable food and a price point higher than average.

The upcharge for a side and a drink being $6 which is highway robbery. $3 for a small drink which they have very limited options for, and $3 for a small side. Not good. What you're getting it's pretty pricey, and it feels like a rip off. For example, the wraps have about half the tortilla wrapped and rolled up inside of itself, not a lot of amount of ingredients for what you're paying for. (See pictures). The wrap by itself is $13.50. The communal sauce bottles were almost empty, the Dr Pepper was absolutely tasteless I drank 2 cups just to get my three dollars worth though lol, but it wasn't worth drinking. We had two pesky flies really bugging us the whole time. Outdoor seating, not shaded but nice. Really cute natural area by the seating out back!
