Haven't eaten at a Sizzler in years. I remembered it as an inexpensive chain with a great salad bar. For two our bill was $102. Ouch! Not what I remembered. My wife and I both had ribeye, medium and it was a quality piece of meat, cooked as ordered. Neither of us could finish it, so dinner for tomorrow. Their salad bar is still excellent, my wife got a one trip plate, should have gotten the all you can eat, as she had things she would have enjoyed that wouldn't fit on her plate. No complaints about the food. Our service was excellent from Amanda. She was prompt and accurate and kept in touch. She had a sense of humor and was pleasant. No criticism of any kind on her service. If I went back I would try a less expensive cut of steak, and see if the quality was as good. However, it's a long drive for dinner from Yuma. So, probably won't be back just because we don't live in Yuba City anymore. But we have relatives here, so salad bar for lunch would be likely. read more

My boyfriend & I live 90 miles apart from each other, and Yuba City happens to be the midway point. Several months ago, we started doing midweek date nights to lessen what felt like a long stretch between weekends. For our inaugural date night, we chose the Sizzler. And we keep coming back so I guess this is our spot! Dining is different in a post-covid world, but this particular Sizzler has figured out how to do a salad bar that is always fresh, well stocked, and sanitary. The kitchen also puts out some really tasty steaks! What really makes this Sizzler really memorable, though, is the outstanding service. Last night, our server Alex kept our drink refills coming and was attentive in a way you'd expect in a fine dining establishment. The manager, Ricardo, is there every time we come in and he treats us like royalty. But it's not just us! Ricardo goes out of his way to ensure every guest is greeted and attended to in a way that feels authentic. And we keep coming back because of that! read more

Nothing to rave about as far as the food goes, your typical Sizzler fare. However, our server Vanessa was awesome. She tended to all our needs and was very friendly. My son ordered the unlimited shrimp, and she brought him two plates when he asked for more. My other son's burger came out wrong, so she told him to help himself to the salad bar while he waited. Good customer service is rare nowadays, so having someone like Vanessa to take care of us was a nice surprise. read more

As kid this place was magical. As an adult I always loved the pay 1st, leave when you want aspect. Come 3-5 x a year atleast, cold salad bar always excellent. I've noticed decline in the warm salad bar food quality, also haven't seen much variety either. Super disappointing!
