For a mid-tier Chinese place, this spot is solid!…read more Food came out in about ten minutes! The place was inundated by take-out phone calls, so it must be a popular spot for pick-up orders. The veggies are perfectly steamed with a nice crunch! Would order the chicken and broccoli again. A little spendy for the overall quality. The egg flower soup had a lot of tofu, so it tasted less like egg flower soup and more like tofu soup... Not something Im used to, so it wasn't my favorite.

But yesterday, everything was different. The crunch was gone, and what batter there was had no flavor or crunchy texture. Half the chicken had no batter at all. The sauce was sour, and the spicy kick I loved was gone. The dark brown coloring with that lovely hint of caramel was replaced with a rusty reddish orange sauce. I ordered takeout, and I decided to eat a portion in my car before driving home. I tried, I really did. After a few bites, I closed the container and drove home, and immediately tossed it into the trash. I understand that many restaurants are trying to hang on in this economy. Maybe Lincoln Chinese tried some less expensive ingredients instead of raising prices. I'm here to say, I'd happily pay more for the version that has been my signature order for many years. No other restaurant could top your former General Chicken. PLEASE bring it back! So disappointed.

The restaurant is big and decorated beautifully. It really adds to the whole experience. We all looked at the menu and decided we would have pot stickers, asparagus beef, honey walnut shrimp, general chicken and pork chow mien. The food came out piping hot, a couple dishes at a time, starting with the Pot Stickers. Everything was absolutely delicious and having ordered "mild" general chicken, my wife was able to enjoy it tremendously. All the staff are friendly and have a great sense of humor. My wife had some kind of coupon on her rewards card which she should've printed out before getting to the restaurant, but the waitress let her step out of the restaurant to print it up, saving us $17!! This is quickly becoming my favorite Chinese Food in a 50-mile radius.

Ambience is nice and good for groups as everything is family style. Expect avg $25 per entree that will feed 3-4 depending how many you get. We ordered 4: salt and pepper chicken wings which I recommend, pork fried rice, half a duck, and beef with green beans for 2 people. There was leftovers. One less entree we probably could have finished it all. My total came to 72 no drinks and a $17 credit for being a rewards member. The rest i paid using my comps. Food was generally good but I have had better for less. Service was actually better this time and came by enough where I wasn't looking around for help. I say it's worth a try! Even with my comps, I probably only come twice a year? Highly recommend getting reservations especially on weekend nights because they are fully booked and will not take walk-ins or to go orders.

Some faces have changed, but the food is still the same great quality, and it is great to see their business is doing great. Always people picking up orders, orders being packed for pick up. Busy. The restaurant itself is more of a "to go" restaurant. They do offer seating and tables, but honestly, in all my times getting food, I am not sure if I have ever seen diners, just people waiting to take their food home to their families! I highly recommend. Staff are friendly but it is a quick moving environment for sure .

I don't think the food quality was good. I will say they are big portions. When I tried serving my food the fork broke. Very flimsy and small. Question? Why not spend a little more on quality forks. They charge top dollar for what you get. Overall not a great experience. Not coming back.

Once we sat down at our table they came and took our drink and dinner orders. There are tons of options for hibachi with lots of proteins. I went with shrimp and filet mignon. Filet was 6 bucks more than steak and I think it was worth it, tender and delicious. I thought the prices were reasonable for what you get. The show was fun, typical hibachi fare, volcano, fire, flying broccoli. I skipped the sake/water fountain. I really enjoyed the food- the fried rice, soup, steak and shrimp were all great. The shrimp was the best I've ever had at this type of place. The veggies were the only disappointment, definitely undercooked. But I had plenty of food and we took home leftovers. The birthday song with the gong was hysterical and our waiter came out and sang an extra song too. The place is obviously aging and could use a refresh as well as some better ventilation. I left with a headache from the smoke. But the food was delicious and we would come back.

They did have a fairly good number of customers during that time, perhaps for that very reason. It's a basic storefront restaurant in a strip shopping center. Nothing too unique or special, and it is clean. Parking is readily available so that shouldn't be an issue. Service is good. Again, nothing that one wouldn't expect for this type of place. I had a hunger for a sandwich, a Vietnamese one! Banh Mi. They had five basic types and I got the grilled pork. I tend to like a tofu, but that wasn't an option. We started with won tons for an appetizer. They were deep fried to a crisp. The sandwich was just OK, like everything else here. nothing special. I thought bread was a bit stale, not like I've had elsewhere. The sandwich also didn't pack mucn flavor. Overall it satisfied the hunger yet I doubt this is the high point of the menu. If I go again I'll try a Pho or a Rice Dish. I suspect they're better.
