    Pad Thai with chicken
    Alyssa M.

Khobkoon is a hidden gem! This has to be the best Thai food I've had in a very long time. I tried the #12 shrimp salad and the #64 pad Thai. Both were absolutely delicious. They had the perfect amount of flavor and spice. The service here was super friendly and fast. They had my order ready in less than 15 minutes. They also gave a good portion size for the price. Definitely worth giving them a try!

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed and taken care of. I had a takeout order, but I was still treated as a dine-in customer. This location has been in operation since 2008, and I encourage you to check it out if you're in the area and enjoy authentic Thai food.

Friendly and fast service every time. Great prices and delicious noodle dishes. Highly recommend

This is our initial experience ordering from this restaurant. Unfortunately, it has been quite disappointing. All the dishes lacked flavor and were rather bland. The portion of the curry certainly does not justify the $17 price tag. It's the worst Thai food I've ever encountered. The only positive aspect I can mention is the service; the gentleman at the register was very courteous and welcoming.

Ordered the lunch special #1 which was a minced chicken dish with onions, bell peppers, and basil drenched in garlic sauce. It was delicious and comforting! We also had the gift egg roll. It was just the right taste and the sweet and sour sauce complemented it well. The service was top notch for a quiet weekday afternoon. We also love how they give out Kit Kat bars instead of fortune cookies! Ambiance felt like we were in a different world too! Loved everything about this place!

i was craving some thai food, this place came up on recommended near me. when we came in we were greeted automatically and the guy was accommodating to our stroller which was so nice! we ordered pad thai with chicken and coconut chicken soup. ohhh boy this was so good! the portions are big and the food is hot! the soup came out in such a unique metal bowl that kept the soup hot the whole time. the employee was constantly checking in on us, refilling our water and always making sure we are happy. the food was so flavorful, perfectly balanced and served beautifully. thank you so much for a great experience khobkoon thai!

Pad kee mao - not good!

Maybe it's just the noodle dishes, but I have ordered the pad see ew and pad kee mao, and both dishes are so watery. Since the restaurant is close by, I have ordered these dishes more than once (out of pure convenience), and unfortunately they were consistently watered down. So disappointing since I love Thai food so much.

I would recommend they check the hours and change on Yelp. We tried to go Sunday at 6:00 and they were already closed? It's very disappointing arriving to a dark restaurant with a big closed sign during open hours.

    Are they closed?

    Looks like it 😒

I've gone over twice this week and they have a "closed" sign during normal business hours. What is happening? I'm concerned !!!!

I'm happy to report, they're still in business and the food is still delicious! 😋

Up until now they have exceeded my expectations as they still serve really good Thai food. We came on a weekday to celebrate a friend's birthday. They were not our first choice but since they have open tables, we decided to patronize them and we didn't regret that decision. We started with DF spring rolls and calamari. We ordered for our main entree Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Mango Yellow Curry, Beef Stir Fry and Crab fried rice. Servings were huge. For a party of 8, we still had leftovers. Food was definitely delish, service was great and quick. Definitely a must go to. February 2026

We ordered Ka Prow, Pa-nang Curry, Pad See Ew, and Pad Prig Khing. When we ordered, we weren't asked what were our preferred spice levels. Only the Pad Prig Khing (green beans) had some heat to them. The Ka Prow (minced meat) was flavorful though. I also liked the Pa-nang Curry with creamy coconut milk. I didn't like the Pad See Ew (flat noodles) as they were sweet. The dishes came with a choice of meat, tofu, or vegetables. I thought some of the meat was chewy.

I ordered the Pad Mee Kow or Drunken Noodles with Beef just based off Yelp photos. I don't normally order this dish, but it's the best I've had. Noodles intact and not stuck together. Lots of beef. Not the most tender meat, so maybe pork would be better. On my next lunch visit, I ordered Pad Ka Prow with Ground Pork & Brown Rice and a small Crystal Noodles Soup. You can choose a spice level from 1 (mild) to 5 (most spicy). I chose level 3, but I probably would be happier with level 1 or 2. Choice of jasmine rice or brown rice. I enjoyed the chewy texture and appearance of the brown rice. Pad Ka Prow is tasty. I loved the Crystal Noodles Soup. It's seasoned well with lots of ingredients, like chicken, wood ear mushrooms, and Napa cabbage. There are 5 different soups that you can order as a Small portion, including Tom Yum, Tom Kha, and Wonton Soup. I look forward to trying more soups. I liked the ambiance, pretty Thai decor, muted green dining room, and easy listening music, often love songs. Thai Basil would be a good restaurant for a date. Service was willing to answer my questions and identify dishes from photographs for me.

The woman that took our order is cute and helped us out ordering Pretty great slot to eat at for our fist time ever. I THINK the women who are working there are the SISTERS? The food was great. I chose the eggplant dish with tofu, with the hottest of the heat... only up to level five, which is quite no match to my taste buds, that I found some chili oil to try and add more heat this place is quite good, maybe a tad bit better than the one that is closer to us In Roseville? Which is closed today, on fathers day? But anyways the women that first helped us out and served us... Merry me? For she asked us when she was doing her rounds of such if we were ok? Then my mother wanted to order more for togo for her to eat later ons I rated this establishment five stars because the one closest to where we live in, is closed. Then my mother was searching for other place, today there are two restaurants that was already closed because of the time? I think maybe there is some MSG added to the food? The restaurant is nice and clean and comfortable. Very simply and tastefully decorated and the staff were pleasant and let us take our time getting settled in to the menu. We all ordered their cream cheese wontons to share, and they were so good, we ordered two more orders! They were more flavorful, with the addition of garlic, than the usual ones you get at other restaurants, and we all really enjoyed them! The curries my step granddaughters ordered looked heavenly and they really liked them, and my husband ordered his favorite dish, Thai basil beef, my father and mother in law and I ordered pineapple shrimp and chicken fried rice, and my stepson ordered a curry dish. We all really enjoyed them and their servings are HUGE! We all took home leftovers, which was a plus! Be prepared for large servings! The only drawback (if you want to consider it that) to our dinner was the level of spiciness here. Fr those of us who ordered mild heat, it was way more spicy than we are used to, so, if you aren't a fan of very spicy Thai food, be aware and order it with none. My father and mother in law, who are in their mid 80's, were smart and ordered their fried rice with no spice. I've never been to a Thai restaurant (one of my favorite cuisines!) that had such spicy mil. I just thought I'd warn my fellow Yelpers who are sensitive to hot and spicy food. We all left happy and really enjoyed our food. Oh, their Thai iced tea is delicious and is a very reasonable price, compared to other Thai restaurants.
