I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place. It is our favorite restaurant when visiting family up north. We believe this place has the very best Chinese food in California. The customer service here is always above and beyond. No matter if it's two people, four people or twelve. They are always checking on you to see if you need more or if they can take away empty dishes. Super attentive. I have been eating here since I was 12 years old. We had a belated Mother's Day dinner here for my sister and reserved a large table for 12. When we showed up they already had complimentary waters served for us. They are so kind and patient with the toddlers and babies in our family. The portions are always generous here and I have never been disappointed with the quality. Our regular platters to order are the Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Fried Rice, Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Prawns. This time my brother ordered Pot Stickers and I really enjoyed those a lot!! If you are ever close to Lincoln, CA and want to try delicious Chinese Cuisine I promise you this is the place. Clean establishment with plenty more options than I shared. Delightful staff and good vibes.

For a mid-tier Chinese place, this spot is solid! Food came out in about ten minutes! The place was inundated by take-out phone calls, so it must be a popular spot for pick-up orders. The veggies are perfectly steamed with a nice crunch! Would order the chicken and broccoli again. A little spendy for the overall quality. The egg flower soup had a lot of tofu, so it tasted less like egg flower soup and more like tofu soup... Not something Im used to, so it wasn't my favorite.

My office ordered lunch for a coworker's birthday. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy. We ordered: Orange Chicken - serving size was more than expected, crunchy, needed a little more sauce Lemon Chicken - chicken was over cooked and tough, not as much chicken as other restaurants but the sauce was perfection Chicken Chow Mein - the noodles were delicious and serving size was perfect Pork Fried Rice - my coworker said it was the best she's ever had Steamed Rice - large serving size MooShoo Pork - ordered extra pancakes, it was a huge hit The entire office was pleased! We'll be back!!!!

The service here is second to none! I love the warm welcoming servers, makes me want to come back from the get-go! The food is really good with some items being better than others. We ordered several dishes for four people. The server suggested we order from the dinner list which included ap and soup and also order a la carte which I noticed gave us larger dishes of food. Order like this gave us plenty of food with leftovers to take home. I really liked the seafood soup but my partner did not like the cornstarch consistency of the soup. The seafood tasted fresh and it came very hot! The fried shrimp ap was terrible and over-fried (maybe fried twice?) and breaded which is not my preference. The egg rolls were good. The chow mein is excellent. Wok fried perfection! Only two shrimp in the house chow mein though. The fried rice has actual peas and carrots in it! This seems to be rare at Chinese restaurants anymore so this is always nice to see. Bits of egg and good BBQ pork in there as well! My favorite was the Dragon and Phoenix dish. It is half shrimp with snow peas and the other half is General chicken! Both sides of the dish came freshly cooked but the general chicken was cold... I think it was a timing thing from the cook since we ordered quite a few dishes. We ordered salt and pepper pork which was not on the menu. It was a hefty $17.95 which I thought was not worth it. It was virtually a plate of fried pork chunks (like in sweet and sour) with a little bit of onion and pepper bits. It tasted ok but could have been better. The shrimp with vegetables dish was decent if you like this dish. The food was good and the great service made it excellent! I can't wait to go back!

My family and I went to Lincoln Chinese Restaurant on a Monday night and had a great experience. We were seated right away, and the staff was friendly and attentive--keeping our drinks full and bringing the food out quickly. When we were done, they boxed everything up for us to take home, which I really appreciated. We ordered the Family Dinner B, which came with pork fried rice, egg flower soup, and appetizers. We ordered the house chow mein, sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken, honey walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful, with generous portions that gave us plenty of leftovers. Great service, tasty food, and big portions. One of our favorite Chinese restaurants!

Cute little place in downtown Lincoln. Very clean and excellent service. This is honestly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The orange chicken was phenomenal... perfectly crispy and the sauce was the right amount of sweet, tangy and a little spice. The beef in the broccoli beef was super tender! The chow mein was amazing and we really enjoyed the pork fried rice too. We happened upon this place for lunch but will definitely be back even though we live about 15-20 minutes away. So good!!!!

The first time we have been here! The service was amazing! The wait time was zero! We ordered the family style dinner Chicken chow mein, cashew shrimp, mushroom chicken, Mongolian beef, egg rolls , egg flower soup , and a corona! Oh can't forget the fried rice, which was very generous portion! Every dish had their favorite little flair, the vegetable were enjoyed by all! My only suggestion was more spice! So we just added the spicy oil on the table! This restaurant reminded us of our favorite Chinese restaurant back where we grew up! It's a definite place we will return!

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT! A Lincoln Gem

EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! We ordered the night before because it was a big order for a family get together. We knew what we wanted to order but they suggested how much based on nbr of people; and they got the estimate perfect! Food was ready on time and packed well for transit. Each one was so delicious and perfectly seasoned. We ordered fried rice, mixed vegetables, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef brocolli, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, stir fry noodles, and hot & sour soup. Extra note that everyone agreed it was the best Hot & Sour soup we have had. Truly a Lincoln GEM!

First time experiencing the menu outside of Dim Sum. Here are my notes:…read more Special Fried Rice in Claypot - Refreshing fried rice due to the addition of the cilantro. You can taste the umami from the roe and other ingredients that I am not entirely sure are but taste familiar. I enjoyed and loved it. Mapo Tofu - Firm Tofu and good sauce. Although I do enjoy more of a Sichuan-style spicy mapo tofu (with the very numbing taste), I still found this mapo tofu delicious as you can taste the flavor of the pork and sauce coating the tofu. 2 Entree BBQ Platter: Roast Duck and Empress chicken - I'm biased towards roast duck. I love roast duck so any roast duck is good to me. Not a lot of comment on the duck. However, the Empress Chicken is nicely seasoned with the whatever broth they cooked it in. One of the few Empress Chickens where I can enjoy it without the scallion-ginger oil, but the scallion-ginger oil still elevates this Chicken to a higher level. Congee with Pork and Preserved Egg - Comforting and triggers a lot of nostalgic feelings for me. I didn't have to add too much additional soy sauce or chili sauce because the congee has a great base flavor. Preserved egg and pork weren't too chunky, rice was not too "mushy", and the overall congee was in a good thickness to create a nice mouth feel for each bite. Will visit again to try the other dishes.

Drinks aren't rated, as they don't sell house cocktails (though they sell a small selection of beers and wines). All-in-all a solid menu. The dilemma is that we generally felt unwelcome. We came by on a Sunday evening at 6:30 pm (and paid and left by 8:20 pm which is 10 minutes before closing). We were a party of 8 with diverse backgrounds, and with exception to one server (a woman wearing red who was maybe a manager), the staff just weren't friendly toward us. I will say that one woman in red was so kind. She made sure to say "bye" as we left. I will add one of my friends mistakenly tried to take a pair of chopsticks (as they are set on the table in a paper slip). She didn't realize they were store owned/reusable vs throwaway. She quickly apologized, but that became the final straw of awkwardness with the staff. The food was genuinely great with appropriate prices, so I may give it another shot down the road as a date night option.

Adj: dependably and predictably ok Chinese food…read more We've been coming here for Chinese meals both sit down and take out from when they used to be Holiday Villa. That was decades ago. About 10 or so years ago, they changed ownership or rather they went through what seems like several changes and then they became Lucky Jade which is kind of a chain but not exactly. I recall at one time, the workers wear shirts that look kind of like uniforms with another store's name on the back with address and phone numbers, so apparently Lucky Jade is owned by people who also own a few other Chinese restaurants but not by the same exact name. In any case, Chinese food can be pretty formulaic, so it's not really that hard to have consistency as long as the cooks know how to make common standard dishes, the taste generally would not be too different. This is true for Lucky Jade. We had take out recently and got a chow fun, a chow mein, and a broccoli beef. The first was quite tasty, on the oily side but I've not found any place able to make it not too oily and still yummy so it's necessary for this dish. Then there's the chow mein, this one was not good. Kind of non descript and the oil tasted oil (reused). Not too greasy which is my biggest complaint of chow mein from elsewhere like New Lai Wah, but again, this did not taste fresh. Finally, the broccoli beef was overcooked. Broccoli was not quite mushy but almost, still a little bit of crunch but you can see they were turning yellow. And the beef was so chemically tenderized (hopefully only with baking soda and not worse) bc it was also almost mushy. Wasn't cheap either, but on par with other Chinese restaurants around here for take out. I think I'll just tell my in laws they can just order from Bel Air Hot Chinese food deli on Florin Rd which is in the same plaza and they'd pay less and the food would actually taste better with fresher oil (probably not reused) and better quality beef that doesn't need to be tenderized to a questionable quality. Overall, not too good.

We had some friends over and decided to grab some traditional and non traditional Chinese cuisine for lunch. Hence we opted to dine at Lucky Jade for their diverse menu, accommodations to dishes due to allergy constraints, and fast service. So what did we order: 1) chicken teriyaki with sauce on the side: the entree arrived covered with teriyaki sauce. What was troubling, the server was trying to have our diner accept the kitchens mistake of covering the chicken with sauce..even when our diner refused, the server tried again to convince our diner to accept this dish. finally, the head wait staff told the server to take the item back to the kitchen. However, when the dish returned, the chicken was no longer grilled but fried. I hope the kitchen didn't rinsed the chicken off of the teriyaki sauce and deep fried the same chicken instead of grilling a fresh piece of chicken. Plus, our diners bowl of rice was forgotten and we had to remind the wait staff. 2) broccoli chicken w/fried rice: it was your basic american chinese dish and our diner only orders chinese combo plates. So he had no complaints. 3) Green bean chicken in black bean sauce: very nice black bean flavor, tender moist chicken but half of the green beans were old and stringy. The prep cook needed better prepping in food preparation- please toss out old green beans before the cooks prepare an entree- what was sad, this dish is always exceptionally well prepared in the past. Not today. 4) fried smelt: very good. no complaints on this dish. 5) chicken and asparagus in garlic sauce: moist chicken but again the prepping of the asparagus was lacking. When our wait staff informed us that they had fresh asparagus- we jumped to her reco. Unfortunately, this dish was served with the woody bottom ends of the asparagus. Which is tough, stringy, and just inedible. Plus, our dishes arrived at different times- in some cases 5-10 minutes apart. Perhaps the Kitchen staff had communication and food prep issues today. Not sure, but i would not recommend dining here on a Sunday. Perhaps the "B or C" team of cooks and prep cooks were definitely working tonight. And the wait staff should have caught the mistake from the kitchen and never served that dish...let alone, trying to push a dish that was not properly prepared or requested by the diner. That is also unacceptable. sorry no pics. Would I return....not sure now.

After looking at the regular menu, I noticed that a plain porridge costs about $5, and a similar pan-fried noodle dish is only around $14-15. Based on those menu prices, the $30 combo did not seem to offer good value and felt significantly overpriced.
