Steamed Rice, Lemon Chicken, Orange Chicken & Chow Mein
    Shannon D.

My office ordered lunch for a coworker's birthday. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy. We ordered: Orange Chicken - serving size was more than expected, crunchy, needed a little more sauce Lemon Chicken - chicken was over cooked and tough, not as much chicken as other restaurants but the sauce was perfection Chicken Chow Mein - the noodles were delicious and serving size was perfect Pork Fried Rice - my coworker said it was the best she's ever had Steamed Rice - large serving size MooShoo Pork - ordered extra pancakes, it was a huge hit The entire office was pleased! We'll be back!!!!

Table veneer cracked. But everything looks clean.

The service here is second to none! I love the warm welcoming servers, makes me want to come back from the get-go! The food is really good with some items being better than others. We ordered several dishes for four people. The server suggested we order from the dinner list which included ap and soup and also order a la carte which I noticed gave us larger dishes of food. Order like this gave us plenty of food with leftovers to take home. I really liked the seafood soup but my partner did not like the cornstarch consistency of the soup. The seafood tasted fresh and it came very hot! The fried shrimp ap was terrible and over-fried (maybe fried twice?) and breaded which is not my preference. The egg rolls were good. The chow mein is excellent. Wok fried perfection! Only two shrimp in the house chow mein though. The fried rice has actual peas and carrots in it! This seems to be rare at Chinese restaurants anymore so this is always nice to see. Bits of egg and good BBQ pork in there as well! My favorite was the Dragon and Phoenix dish. It is half shrimp with snow peas and the other half is General chicken! Both sides of the dish came freshly cooked but the general chicken was cold... I think it was a timing thing from the cook since we ordered quite a few dishes. We ordered salt and pepper pork which was not on the menu. It was a hefty $17.95 which I thought was not worth it. It was virtually a plate of fried pork chunks (like in sweet and sour) with a little bit of onion and pepper bits. It tasted ok but could have been better. The shrimp with vegetables dish was decent if you like this dish. The food was good and the great service made it excellent! I can't wait to go back!

My family and I went to Lincoln Chinese Restaurant on a Monday night and had a great experience. We were seated right away, and the staff was friendly and attentive--keeping our drinks full and bringing the food out quickly. When we were done, they boxed everything up for us to take home, which I really appreciated. We ordered the Family Dinner B, which came with pork fried rice, egg flower soup, and appetizers. We ordered the house chow mein, sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken, honey walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful, with generous portions that gave us plenty of leftovers. Great service, tasty food, and big portions. One of our favorite Chinese restaurants!

Cute little place in downtown Lincoln. Very clean and excellent service. This is honestly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The orange chicken was phenomenal... perfectly crispy and the sauce was the right amount of sweet, tangy and a little spice. The beef in the broccoli beef was super tender! The chow mein was amazing and we really enjoyed the pork fried rice too. We happened upon this place for lunch but will definitely be back even though we live about 15-20 minutes away. So good!!!!

The first time we have been here! The service was amazing! The wait time was zero! We ordered the family style dinner Chicken chow mein, cashew shrimp, mushroom chicken, Mongolian beef, egg rolls , egg flower soup , and a corona! Oh can't forget the fried rice, which was very generous portion! Every dish had their favorite little flair, the vegetable were enjoyed by all! My only suggestion was more spice! So we just added the spicy oil on the table! This restaurant reminded us of our favorite Chinese restaurant back where we grew up! It's a definite place we will return!

EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT! A Lincoln Gem

EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! We ordered the night before because it was a big order for a family get together. We knew what we wanted to order but they suggested how much based on nbr of people; and they got the estimate perfect! Food was ready on time and packed well for transit. Each one was so delicious and perfectly seasoned. We ordered fried rice, mixed vegetables, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef brocolli, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, stir fry noodles, and hot & sour soup. Extra note that everyone agreed it was the best Hot & Sour soup we have had. Truly a Lincoln GEM!

Time for Dim Sum...because apparently every time I watch Crazy Rich Asians, my stomach turns into a…read moredramatic main character and demands dumplings immediately. Normally, I hit up Yue Huang, but lately it's been giving "long wait, mild heartbreak." So I decided to branch out and found this hidden gem in Granite Bay...and let me tell you...BEST decision. You walk in and BAM!!!! Old school Chinese restaurant vibes. Red booths, classic decor, slightly run down in that "if these walls could talk, they'd recommend everything on the menu" kind of way. And if you know, you KNOW...that's when the food is about to slap. We came with a mission (aka hungry and slightly unhinged) and ordered: baked BBQ pork buns, shumai, har gow, shrimp rice rolls, pineapple baked custard buns, fried shrimp balls, and soup dumplings. Basically, if it could be steamed, fried, or stuffed...we said yes. It's clearly family run, which I love. Mom is running the show like a boss, kids are hustling, and since it was Mother's Day...CHAOS. Delicious chaos. Food flying out, servers holding trays of dumplings like treasures, stopping at your table and you're like "YES, THIS IS MY MOMENT"...and then they walk away to another table. Emotional rollercoaster. So many "Ooooh yay!" followed by "Ohhh man..." But honestly? It just built the suspense. Then OUR food arrived...and our eyes went WIDE. These dumplings are HUGE. Like, "one bite? absolutely not" huge. The BBQ pork buns were soft, fluffy, slightly sweet clouds of happiness. Har gow and shrimp rice rolls were perfectly steamed (no soggy sadness here ). Now, because it was busy, the shrimp had a bit of a split personality...some bites were perfectly snappy and delicious, others were just a little overcooked. Not tragic, just not living their absolute best life. But overall? Everything was GOOD. And then the check came...about $60 for ALL that food. I almost checked it twice like, "Ma'am...are you sure you charged me correctly?" Because that is a STEAL. What really got me though was the family. You could see the hustle, the stress, the love...all happening in real time. Even in the chaos, they were kind, smiling, and apologizing for the wait. That kind of heart hits different. Final verdict: great food, great value, and a whole lot of love. I'll definitely be back to try more of their main dishes. Until next dumpling craving...

This time they did have the bean curd rolls which had noodles, veggies and a little meat. I do wish there were more veggies and meats served on the hong Kong house special noodles. They have decent lunch specials. My bf got the lemon chicken which he enjoyed. The egg roll did get a little soggy though bc it was soaked in the sauce.

Part of a strip mall with other retailers and restaurants. Well, it was new to see so many signs posted about watch your cars as there's theft. A complete surprise to me. Guess in the area it a common thing. Anyway, the restaurant itself was decent in size. Plenty of parking available. Sunday and it was mellow in a sense. Still pretty busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. It's not your traditional Chinese dim sum restaurant with the carts walking down the aisle and you picking what you want. Here, they give you the menu and you mark down how many items you want. Both dim sum and traditional dishes are on there. Price wise, it's fairly decent but some dishes were a bit pricey compared to other places. Still worth checking out. Mark what you want on the menu which they then take and dishes are brought out. Of course we had to have the classic. Shu Mai and so on. Bbq pork slices, Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce, sticky rice in banana leaves, to name a few. The dim sum did come out pretty fast. Classic Chinese dishes like the chow fun did come out a little later as it had to be made. Overall, the food was quite tasty. I do see why my friends did recommend this place. It was a nice crowd of people that was here for brunch. Loads of family enjoying their meal. For our group, the bill came just under 300. They did include gratuities to it which they did inform us. We got a decent amount of dim sum as well as the other dishes. Food was good and service was great. All the staffs were very friendly and sweet. Drinks were refilled pretty fast after asking. Would definitely be back when we're in the area.

We had some friends over and decided to grab some traditional and non traditional Chinese cuisine for lunch. Hence we opted to dine at Lucky Jade for their diverse menu, accommodations to dishes due to allergy constraints, and fast service. So what did we order: 1) chicken teriyaki with sauce on the side: the entree arrived covered with teriyaki sauce. What was troubling, the server was trying to have our diner accept the kitchens mistake of covering the chicken with sauce..even when our diner refused, the server tried again to convince our diner to accept this dish. finally, the head wait staff told the server to take the item back to the kitchen. However, when the dish returned, the chicken was no longer grilled but fried. I hope the kitchen didn't rinsed the chicken off of the teriyaki sauce and deep fried the same chicken instead of grilling a fresh piece of chicken. Plus, our diners bowl of rice was forgotten and we had to remind the wait staff. 2) broccoli chicken w/fried rice: it was your basic american chinese dish and our diner only orders chinese combo plates. So he had no complaints. 3) Green bean chicken in black bean sauce: very nice black bean flavor, tender moist chicken but half of the green beans were old and stringy. The prep cook needed better prepping in food preparation- please toss out old green beans before the cooks prepare an entree- what was sad, this dish is always exceptionally well prepared in the past. Not today. 4) fried smelt: very good. no complaints on this dish. 5) chicken and asparagus in garlic sauce: moist chicken but again the prepping of the asparagus was lacking. When our wait staff informed us that they had fresh asparagus- we jumped to her reco. Unfortunately, this dish was served with the woody bottom ends of the asparagus. Which is tough, stringy, and just inedible. Plus, our dishes arrived at different times- in some cases 5-10 minutes apart. Perhaps the Kitchen staff had communication and food prep issues today. Not sure, but i would not recommend dining here on a Sunday. Perhaps the "B or C" team of cooks and prep cooks were definitely working tonight. And the wait staff should have caught the mistake from the kitchen and never served that dish...let alone, trying to push a dish that was not properly prepared or requested by the diner. That is also unacceptable. sorry no pics. Would I return....not sure now.

Bottom line, in my humble opinion, ABC Bakery is the original "OG" for take out dim sum in the south area. It is still probably the best dim sum with most of these items listed in terms of flavor, quality, and service. Although prices are slightly higher from a year or so ago, it is still relatively less expensive than Tai Pan and Dim Dim food. There are no parking challenges, staff are efficient with unnecessary attitude, and items are fresh and not constantly sitting in steamers throughout the day- yes, food turnover is probably the best of all three locations. Again, i would patronize ABC Bakery first and Dim Dim Food second. The Portuguese egg tart from Dim Dim Food is outstanding. And if you order their Pineapple Bao it does have a better flavor than the ones from ABC Bakery. No pics necessary. just go and try the various delicacies from ABC Bakery. Its been so bad the past decade that we decided to give it another chance. Different management, different chefs, different everything basically. The fried flounder was so fried that I could not separate the bones, not only that, you could barely get any meat out of it. Our table had nine people and they only provided 6 buns with our peking duck. I thought they didn't have enough steamer space and was going to bring more but nope. The shrimp in their salted egg pumpkin and shrimp dishes was overcooked and their deep fried pig intestines were extremely stinky. Their portion sizes downsized like crazy and it's so bad that we didn't even finish any of the dishes. The best dish was a stir fry cauliflower dish that I could make at home. It was supposed to come with pork, but I only saw itty bitty pieces of meat. The service was also super bad and slow. I was eating their fried rice and bit on a piece of broken yellow plastic with multiple sharp points. Prior to that, I was feeding my toddler the rice so THANKFULLY it didn't go to him. When we told the server, which was an older lady with glasses and bangs, she's like oh... then she took it to the kitchen and pretended that nothing had ever happened when she came back out. Shes been there for years, and I remember seeing her when we were regulars. I wasn't expecting anything, except for some accountability. I used to love this place so it's pretty sad to see how much it went downhill.... This business needs to be scrapped.
