This place is the cool, friendly place where you get the scoop on where to XC ski, if you want to go on your own trails, with your own friends and your dog so you dont have to deal with "rules" about trails etc. And they have a lot of beautiful snowboards with nice graphics and even cool ski gloves with graphic designs and a nice array of hats/beanies. Great experience at this quaint little rental shop in Flagstaff! I rented all my snowboarding gear and a helmet and goggles for a full day. The shop was PACKED 9:30 am yesterday on a Saturday morning but I got in and out within 15 minutes. I'm a total newbie when it comes to snowboarding but the guy who helped me was quick to get what I needed and didn't judge my lack of experience, which I totally appreciated. I had no complaints about the quality of the equipment and I even got 25% off with Yelp check in off the total cost of the rentals which brought it all down to 34 bucks! So cheap! Drop off was a breeze as they had a booth set up outside (since the shop is so small and the board was covered in snow and dirt) all I had to do was give my last name and they pulled my order out of a file, made sure everything was in its place, and handed me a receipt. I would recommend this place to ANYONE! I had never ever gone skiing before and as soon as you walk in the door there is a ski/snowboard tech to greet you and help you find sizes for everything. Our tech was awesome I think his name was Alex he wears an orange hat, and he got us the right sizes for our skis. It is very affordable it is $25 for ski boots, skis and poles, they offer insurance for $5 I would definitely recommend it just in case anything happens. These guys are great! Highly recommended. My GO-TO shop if ever I need anything snowboard related, quick & on the way to the 'Bowl. I waxed my new board & needed a stomp pad & scraper, it's late season & they were out. But no fear! Not wanting me to take my board on her maiden journey on a crappy wax job, they let me use the shop scraper. Jake even showed me some pointers on how to do the best job possible. My board ran great all day, never sticking to the slush cup spring conditions. I'll be taking in my full quiver next week to get them all tuned & bases fully repaired before heading Colorado for spring break. read more

I love little local ski shops. This one rents equipment and sells some hats and jackets. I like the ski lift chair outside of the shop, it makes the store easier to spot. I also thought it was cool that they had dogs in the shop. If that puppy never got adopted- message me I wanted her! read more

You can rent equipment at a bunch of spots. While they may have competitive prices and a solid staff, my son had a problem skiing on our trip that cut our trip very short. These guys were caring and helpful and went over and above to take care of us. If I ever get back in that fantastic area, I will not look anywhere else but Ski Haus for help with renting equipment. My son and I headed to Flagstaff to hit Snowbowl. We didn't have my son's board and boots with us so we needed to rent. These guys are very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm not an expert on equipment, but it worked out well for us and seemed to be high quality and well-taken care of. Prices are competitive if not better than anywhere else, we paid $30 for the boot/board package. Perhaps the biggest positive though is the drop-off process. Parking at this location is not great, but they just collect all the gear outside, give you your receipt, and you're outta there. Next time we hit Snowbowl and need gear, this is the place for us. read more

A group of girlfriends and I went to the Ski Haus and we were VERY happy with the entire experience! Service was fast and beyond friendly! We were in and out in hardly anytime at all with all the equipment we needed! I love coming here! When I started boarding and needed everything from pants an a jacket to goggles, Jeremiah and lee were very helpful! The staff is great and the dogs are awesome! They take real good care of my board, Wally. I tell anyone that needs a rental package or something along the needs of snow gear for skiing or boarding I recommend ski haus. Great little shop in Flagstaff. The guys at the shop were very knowledgable and helpful. They spent plenty of time with the kids, making sure they had the right gear for their ability. The owner was really cool, and gave us some helpful tips for Snow Bowl and around town. The only bad thing is the parking. Getting in and out of there when it is busy is a challenge to say the least. But I'll be back for sure when I need more gear. read more

They had us in and out in such a short amount of time. My girlfriend got rental skis and they waxed my skis in a like 5 minutes. Cheaper than renting at the ski lodge and way faster. read more

On my first run after renting Snowboard equipment here, the front binding snapped off the board. I almost broke my leg and/or hit a tree. Upon inspection, we found that the snowboard binding had been attached using wood screws that were for mounting ski bindings. This kind of gross negligence is going to kill somebody. Ironically, on the next run we talked to someone else who had their binding slip on their board that they rented from Ski Haus, and they had twisted their ankle. I am in law school and know that this is not right. If you hurt yourself because of Ski Haus equipment, know that the rental form you fill out does not release them from liability, even if it says it does. If they hurt you because of their bad equipment, you should talk to a lawyer. And, if it's really bad, their corporate veil (LLC or whatever) doesn't mean anything. Go after them personally. read more

We've been to Ski Haus twice to rent skis and were so impressed with their quick and friendly service on both occasions! We were greeted immediately when we came in and the staff was great, really positive and helpful. Price can't be beat either. Last time we returned our skis one of the staff not only remembered my name when I got out of the car but helped me carry the skis back to the store! Highly recommend! read more

If you are going to any other ski shop in town you are doing yourself a disservice. If you are coming from out of town and need rentals or equipment do yourself a favor and go here. The Guys that work here are knowledgeable and patient even on their busiest days. Sure it gets a little crowded but this does not take away from their excellent service. Beside having great quality equipment for a fair price they will help you get a new setup together or upgrade an old in no time. Seriously go to ski haus :)) read more

This past weekend was my very first time snowboarding. Me and a few friends stopped into Ski Haus on our way to the mountain. When we walked in the store was pretty busy with other excited customers. But despite that, we were greeted upon our entry. We received excellent assistance from one of their workers, Taylor. He hooked us up with some boots and even took the time to put bindings on a new board for me just so I could ride a board right for my size. All this while being friendly and professional.
