There are many Skillets to choose from in Bonita Springs and Naples. I would drive out of my way to specifically come to the Strand location. I've been to all of the other locations but the Strand location has consistently been the best. I base this on the friendliness of the hostesses and servers, and the quality of the food. It's very casual and similar in set up to a lot of breakfast type places. I know that they serve lunch too but I have never been able to get away from the breakfast menu. It's just so good. I used to always get the Corned Beef Hash plate. Their hash is the best. It's made from their brisket that they also use to make Rueben's. It's shredded and then griddle seared until there's a slight crispiness to the outside. That's served with your choice of grits or breakfast potato. Their breakfast potato is also shredded and tossed with a dollop of some kind of sour cream/chive mix. Then it's also seared until crispy on the outside. You can choose your choice of bread. I usually get English Muffin. Lastly, choice of 2 eggs which, I always get sunny side up. They have a similar dish with all the same ingredients called their "Irish" Benedict. With all that said, I must finish with the dish I've most recently discovered and am surprisingly faithful to. It is their Benedict Vegetarian. It's spinach, mushroom, and tomato over an English muffin, eggs over easy, topped with a lovely hollandaise sauce. I choose to stick with their potato as a side. I also will often order a side of their sausage or kielbasa to satisfy my carnivorous cravings. I enjoy their apple cider served in an ice cold mug, to help wash it all down. I used to have tons of pictures of their food but I had an accident with my phone and lost most of them. However, I do have a picture of their Benedict Vegetarian with their potatoes. WOW! Everything was amazing! Our server, Duli, was very attentive and incredibly friendly. The decor is so nice! It looks like a nice southern country home. Such a beautiful place. And the food was incredible! Absolutely delicious coffee, and they had the fluffiest eggs I've ever tasted. My boyfriend got the corned beef hash and said it was the best he's ever had. They have a great menu, which they just revamped and it's easier to read (even for a regular like me), that hits all the categories I like. The y have amazing waffles, awesome 'skillets' (eggs in various styles over their breakfast potatoes, pretty good biscuits and gravy 8/10 in my book, and THE BEST bacon!! This is hands down my favorite place to come to for breakfast. I wake up on my days off with Skillets on my mind. Every thing that I have ever ordered is breakfast bliss. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The fresh-squeezed orange juice is served in an iced glass and is amazing. Chocolate Chip and cinnamon apple pancakes were both fluffy and buttery. Egg white veggie omelet was the fluffiest I've ever had. Real homemade corned beef hash, not that salt-lick-in-a-can stuff. Skillets never disappoints. The food, the service and surprisingly the waits time was not even an issue, which in Naples at the start of season is a huge bonus. We go to skillets a few times a month. The veggie skillet is a favorite in our household. The pancakes are fantastic as well as the waffles. The corn beef hash is made in-house. My wife says the hash is amazing. The food looked great coming from the kitchen and there was plenty of it; the atmosphere good, with a light colored wood theme all around, the service was friendly and well-spoken, but the dishes, upon tasting, were a tad dry, as far as I was concerned. I had the breakfast burrito, which was decent, but on the inside it was all egg, chorizo (I think) and jalapeño, lacking sauce and cheese (in my opinion). We eat there at the time and have always been pleased. We had a horrible waitress a young girl Melody. She was rude and disrespectful. I had to ask other servers to bring us what we needed. She never asked if everything was good and practically through the check on the table. If we ever decide to come back I never want to be served by her again. I ordered a Mediterranean wrap on multigrain tortilla with Parmesan, romaine, kalamate olives, cucumber, sun dried tomatoes, Bermuda onion, feta cheese, and a feta drsg. I love Skillets! Actually all the Naples locations are very good, I've been to them all. This is my first choice for breakfast and honestly I couldn't imagine life without the Denver Skillet in it, lol. I also LOVE their french toast and omelets and you HAVE to try their scones..
