Had a wonderful & RELAXING Full Body Scrub done by Kat. It was so soothing, I fell asleep. She left me to sleep till I woke on my own. She did make sure to ask before hand if I had the time because people do tend to fall asleep from the peaceful atmosphere. There was a very nice ambiance with candles that added to the tranquility.My skin felt so smooth & nicely moisturized after the treatment. Horrible horrible horrible. The most unprofessional person ever. I call to schedule an appointment and ask if she had the special she was offering on Groupon and she said yes. I went in and she took for ever to take care of me. Then she proceed to give me the 50 units of Botox that I had ask for, and according to her she gave me 60. When she finished I notice something very weird on my face, I basically didn't feel that she had injected any Botox, I literally felt like she had just pocked my face with nothing or just water. I called her a few days later to tell her I didn't see any change on my face. she took for ever to respond and then I told her that I didn't see any change, she said to go back and she will to something about it. I went in again and again had to wait for her. When she finally showed up you could tell she was in a bad mood. So she looks at me and said that she could see that the Botox had worked ( I know how my face looks when I get 50 units of Botox because I've done it several times) I told her I wasn't happy with the results and she started screaming at me like a lunatic, I tried to talk to her and she wouldn't stop screaming at me, so I got up and left. I guess it was my fault for going to this crappy place with this type of people, so this was my horrible experience in this place called "Skin by Kat " DO NOT GO!!!! read more

Went in yesterday to see my girl Kat. Once again..... Fabulous!!!! Last time I had some waxing and body sculpting done this time was facial along with botox, lip fillers and PDO thread lift.... Wow. I'm sitting here shocked from my visit to Kat today. She literally complained at me about other clients starting with when she opened the door. I had gotten a Groupon for full leg and bikini wax and another for armpits, and she made it clear that she doesn't get paid enough from Groupon for these services. OK, not much I can do about that? She did honor it, and said I'll be the last one she does as she's canceling it. After my experience I believe this is probably the best for everyone! Though the waxing itself was pain free, the entire experience was awkward to say the least. She didn't seem to understand that "full leg" included the thighs, but when I told her I expected that, she went ahead and did it, just not thoroughly. Then I told her I just needed a clean up at the bikini line, no Brazilian or anything. As she started to wax my bikini line, *she* began to cry, saying she "hates waxing vaginas and penises". Super awkward for a client to hear this - especially during a bikini wax. Why offer this service if you aren't willing to do it? As I was turning over, she warned me not to fall off the rickety table because SHE DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE!! Yikes. Sadly, these are just the lowlights of my visit. When I got home I looked more closely at her work and saw that it was not very well done, huge patches are completely untouched, so I'll be going to another salon to have her work fixed. I always try to support local women-owned businesses, but I should have believed the recent Yelp reviews on this one. Overall, a stressful experience (for us both I think) and definitely not worth even the Groupon price for the negativity and poor quality work. read more

I was in the area so I stop by, the place looked lovely, the only problem it wasn't open that was about 11:30 am so I called no answer. ( must agree with Nora T ) I decided to look on her website and yes is a very lovely relaxed type of spa .. However, my concern is, the lip injection looks very unprofessionally you can see where lips have been injected not smooth, or no real seeable results. She is a FRAUD. Is she licensed and how long has she been doing this. How many years of knowledge, experience in-school training. couldn't find anything online, so there is not enough training to be doing lip injections. One wrong injection and you could end up with permanent damage. I definitely will be giving BBB a call so anyone can open a spa/salon with none or little experience when they are injecting things into ones body ? Dodgy and seems very shady.
