Skinlogic was great! They have great hours and great customer service. They have package deals for hair removal that are very competitively priced to other spas. I got laser hair removal over this last winter. It was something I had debating doing for a long time. I have always been very self conscious of my dark hair with my very pale skin. I was very pleased with my results. I'd say it's 90% gone. All of the very dark hair is gone. Just a few light colored ones left and that's easily manageable at home. I think I will get more of my body done next winter! read more

So I usually don't write bad reviews, I went to get a facial at Skin logic on Friday , I have pretty good skin just a few blemishes so I mentioned to her that I wanted to take care of that and also mentioned I wanted her to do a eye mask . I spent 120 bucks was not worth a penny . My skin broke out completely, it wasn't at all a relaxing time , it hurt the entire time ! I have marks all over my face when I didn't have them before . She did give me a little massage was okay . She didn't use anything for my eyes when I asked her to and before I left I said did you use any eye mask/cream she said yes when she didn't even touch my eyes the entire time I was wearing goggles, she shows me some eye cream and says here you can put a little more .( she has NOT even used any eye cream ) I'm very upset how my skin looks! Will definitely not recommend this place ! read more

I visited Skinlogic Med Spa for the first time yesterday. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable and "at home." The gal at the front desk was very professional and thoroughly answered all of my questions. My facial was wonderful and the technician sat down to really understand my desired results. They don't treat facials like a one size fits all, like I've experienced in the past. I signed up for their monthly membership to continue seeing improvements. Just saw Lisa for the first time for brows and a facial. My brows were a mess and she shaped them beautifully. She suggested that i try tinting them and it made all the difference. My facial was very relaxing and she was very knowledgeable about what products to use on a pregnant gal. The neck and arm massage was wonderful too. All in all a great experience. read more

I just moved to Seattle, and this is my first time visiting a cosmetic doctor since arriving here. I move a lot for my job, and am now having to find my fourth cosmetic clinic in the last 6 years. I just went in yesterday for Botox and Radiesse filler, so I have not seen the full results yet. I have been doing the injection gig for a while, and I loved that Dr. Cheryl listened to what I wanted, examined my face in depth and gave me some suggestions. There was no 'hard sell' and her suggestions were great. It was nice that gave me her cell phone number in case I had problems or questions! I also enjoyed speaking to and learning more from Scott about new and other therapies that interest me. Again, no hard sell, but great information. Their prices for most products and services seem reasonable based on my previous knowledge at various med spas across the US. Overall impression: Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and quite a varied service menu in a beautiful part of Seattle. They cancel your appointment two to three hours before you're supposed to go in. I had already begun driving the long distance from south king county to Seattle. Very disrespectful proprietors at this business. Also, Ericka will listen to your requests not to put any toner or makeup on your face during a facial but end up doing exactly what you specifically asked to leave out anyway. I had specifically during my consultation and my first facial with Erica that I never used toner and that I had severely sensitive skin. I asked her specifically not to use toner. It was mind boggling how she Seemed as though she was listening intently but went ahead and did exactly the opposite of what was discussed. She also applied an orangey hued liquid cover up which she called BB cream all over my face so that I would not be able to assess my skin properly until I went home and saw that my entire face was covered in an orangey cream. There was a dime sized red blemish on the left side of my head near the hair line which I didn't notice before. I have never responded that way to microdermabrasion and I've been doing micro for years so I didn't understand why I had such a different reaction this time. read more

I went to Skinlogic for a facial earlier this week for the second time. Although I was fairly pleased with the results after my first facial, this time was a different story. Skinlogic prides itself on offering effective as opposed to frou-frou facials. I expected the esthetician to know the products and to recommend products that would be effective for my skin - particularly since she was fairly critical of the products I told her I was currently using. I told her during the consultation that there are a couple of ingredients commonly used in skincare products that my skin simply doesn't tolerate. What do you know - when I got home, three out of four products she'd given me samples of and had specifically recommended contained at least one of those ingredients! About the facial itself - the extractions were fairly harsh and painful I broke out quite a bit after the facial (I went in because I was breaking out - and now I'm breaking out worse!) - which leads me to wonder if she used products on my face that contained the ingredients I'd asked her to avoid (those ingredients often cause me to break out). At the end of the facial, she told me that she'd normally put eye cream on me, but there was none in the room we were in, so she was going to skip it. I thought that was quite odd - couldn't she have checked to be sure there were products in the room before starting? Or excused herself to go and get some eyecream once she realized she was out? I might not be so picky about something like this if I weren't paying so much - but the facials here aren't exactly inexpensive (at least by my standards). And again, this is a place that markets itself on its staff's knowledge of skincare and on good service, so I had high expectations. I won't be going back - I'd rather take my business elsewhere. read more

After reading such great reviews about Skinlogic, I decided to give it a try and called for an appointment for a facial. I didn't really know my way around Greenlake, thank goodness for a GPS system. It's a quaint place overlooking the water, parking was free inside the building too. I walked in and a really friendly gentleman invited me to have a seat and as I filled out my registration form. I answered in regards to my skin type, the problems I faced with my skin, allergies, etc. It was like a doctor's checkup! Nonetheless, I felt like the information I filled in would help me when I met my dermatologist. She was incredibly nice and took me into a room as we discussed about certain options to improve the well being of my face. We even took pictures for reference! During the facial, I felt pampered as if I was in a spa. Relaxing music played in the background, and the dermatologist was taking out my blackheads one at a time! It was painful, but well worth it. After the facial, she took me out and introduced some products that would help my skin tone. Never did she pressure me to buy them, but I felt very informed after my first facial session. I had a terrible experience here - I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment to be seen and then my skin erupted after the facial I had, and my lips were so swollen after the Botox that I couldn't do much more than sip out of a straw for a few weeks. When I requested a refund I was told I needed to come back in to see if they could repair the problem - why would I want to go back for more of that kind of treatment.? I explained I was not comfortable coming back for more, and they still refused to give me even a partial refund - and asked me to go "kind" on my yelp review. I've had many many facials and never had this happen - wouldn't recommend them for their treatments or customer service. read more

I relocated to Seattle six months ago and have visited a few well reviewed salons. However, I was very disappointed by the results and had almost given up finding a true facial that wasn't some quasi-Clarisonic/massage 1 hour treatment with little results. That is until I went to Skinlogic and found Klarissa. All I can say is 'WOW!". Even in the dim lighting after the facial, I noticed a significant difference. The facial was truly a facial and not a facial plus massage. I was there for a facial and that's what I expect. That's exactly what I got. My skin was like silk, noticeably brighter, clearer with all dullness washed away. Skinlogic definitely delivers a truly medicinal facial that will not leave you disappointed. Not a good spa experience to put it mildly. "Heather" wore gloves which changed how my facial felt....think lotion on latex. The worst part was with no explanation she left the room twice after starting my facial and returned opening and closing the door with her gloved hands and didn't put clean gloves on. I should have said something...there is no excuse for introducing whatever was on the door handle to my face TWICE! A big no-no. Then she gets product in my eye and proceeds to put some mystery drops in my eye without bothering to tell me what she is using. That warm towel you usually have on your face was cold. The front desk was noisy and laughing loudly. The hand massage was a joke. It was not quiet and relaxing at all let alone the horrible facial experience. I just had a lash and brow tint with a brow wax with Nicole. I have been getting my lashes and brows done for 20 years and this is the best they have ever looked. I am a very light blonde and my brows look totally natural and they have a beautiful shape. My lashes are dark down to the roots which can be a challenge. Again, I'm very pleased. I have had an amazing experience at Skin logic, so far. Everyone has been super nice and very knowledgable. My skin is already looking better thanks to them, and for that I am very grateful. I would say the only drawback was that I felt they were in a rush to sign me up for a membership, the first time I came in. I would have liked them to have a better treatment plan lined up for me, and then told me what membership would be more beneficial for this treatment plan. I called them a few days after this initial meeting to point this out, and they were more than happy to schedule me again to talk with someone about a plan for my skin. I made an appt for a consult for Ultherapy and filler's. I sat with Angelina, Medical Esthetician, for about 20-30 minutes discussing all the in's and out's of the procedure. She was very easy to speak to and gave suggestions of different types of products Skinlogic offered and the kind of realistic results I could expect. I then saw Evelyn, Medical Director, for my filler consult, and had my lips done. She made the procedure as painless as possible,and I am thrilled with the results! I will become a regular customer. I went in for my first visit because I received a gift card. I had Emmalee as my skin therapist and she was knowledgeable and friendly. I don't have too many skin issues, so I did more of a basic facial focusing on extractions and redness. My skin looked so clear and the redness I normally have was toned down quite a bit. I have never reviewed anything before - but I just really needed to publicly recognize how amazing my experience has been. Kaylea is literally everything you could ever dream of in an esthetician! While I've never had perfect skin - a few changes in medication as well as the stress of moving and getting a new job have really taken a toll on my skin. Kaylea has advised me on treatments, products, and home care, and as a result, my skin has improved drastically. I had never been to an esthetician or medical spa before, and I felt super vulnerable and nervous opening up about my acne concerns. I had very little knowledge of skincare. I REALLY wanted to like my massage at SkinLogic and had hope that this might become my go to place, but...I was lured by the 1/2 price, great!, I called and told the receptionist I wanted a relaxing but effective massage. She suggested a male masseuse (no problem), who she assured me would be a great fit. In fact, she mentioned that the other masseuse was more "sports massage," not at all what I was going. That evening I received a phone call asking me if I wanted to come early, sure. Arriving it is a nice clinic, I was introduced to the masseuse and it turned out to be the one who is more sports massage focused. I was bothered that they didn't tell me that I would be receiving a massage from someone else, anybody who gets massages knows that getting someone that it more tailored to your need is pretty important. The masseuse was VERY knowledgeable, not complaints there, but was entirely NOT what I wanted She also works at a chiropractic office and the massage was pretty...intense. Twice I had to tell her to lighten the touch and twice I said "Ow, that really hurts," she proceeded to tell me what area was hurting me and continued...just SOOOOO not relaxing and I was pretty eager to leave. In addition, the room was VERY cold and the seat squeaked annoyingly as she moved around the tiny room, this was NOT her fault, but still, did not help the situation! I know they are trying to incorporate massages into their business, but it lacked both a relaxing atmosphere and the front desk needs to be educated about making sure the person is linked up with the masseuse they were originally scheduled with, overall a disappointment. read more
