We did not say anything to our waitress or complain bc we are just not those kind people but it was disappointing to say the least. A steak place that has been in business for as long a they have should have perfected their steaks, I got the grilled chicken and when it came, I thought they had brought me fried chicken by mistake. I was expecting a grilled chicken breast (my mistake for assuming) but it was 4 pieces of what appeared to be smoked chicken on the bone. The shrimp and grits were excellent with a heap of blackened shrimp over a flavorful Gouda course grits. The shrimp were cooked just right. The seafood pot pie had the blue crab bisque as the base and loaded with shrimp, white fish, salmon, and small scallops. It was topped with a puffed pastry square. The pot pie was also an excellent dish that I would definitely recommend. Next time I may come back for the crab bisque as an appetizer. Also, a shout out to the short little Hispanic fellow who delivers those delightful warm rolls--incredible! The second time I visited, we had to wait a few minutes while our table was prepared. In maybe six minutes total, no less than seven different servers approached us to make sure we were being taken care of. Forget about the menu you see online. The specials are where it's at. Both meals I had, there were at least five appetizer specials, and nearly double that for mains. I won't go through a blow-by-blow of every dish, but suffice it to say every single thing we ate was perfection.
