We always enjoy the Liquid Marijuana -- it's a fantastic drink and one of our go-to favorites here. Consistently well made and always enjoyable. Lexi was our server, and it was her first night. She did an excellent job -- friendly, attentive, and handled everything smoothly. Food was excellent across the board. The Chicken Bruschetta was flavorful and well-prepared, paired nicely with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potato fries. The chicken tenders with squash puppies and fries were also a hit. Great food, great drinks, and great service. Pub W continues to be a reliable and enjoyable spot, and we'll absolutely be back. Had the best birthday brunch here! My husband took me here, as he's a big fan of pub W and this was only my 2nd time ever going. The employees were so nice - from being greeted to being taken care of by our server, everyone was very welcoming and had great attitudes. The style of this restaurant has a bit of a sports bar vibe, but the layout also provides a good family atmosphere so taking your kids for brunch doesn't feel weird or out of place despite the sports bar vibe. I ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich - our server said they were taking it off the menu, and I'll be sad to see it go because it was delicious. The chicken, Brie, and pears really pair together so nicely. I've never had a sandwich like this. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and he said it was also really good. My daughter had the kids chicken tenders and she cleaned her plate, so I think that's a good sign. We also enjoyed the ooey gooey chocolate cake (I think that's what our server called it lol) it's a flourless chocolate cake and it was DELICIOUS. I'm not gluten free or necessarily choose desserts that are flourless, but I have tried a few in my day and they always taste like they're lacking something - but this cake completely changed my mind on that stance. It was so rich, so soft. It was more of a brownie texture - but I highly recommend trying it, it was really, really tasty. read more

My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch at Pub W, both of us looking for a change of pace--and this place absolutely hit the spot! We kicked things off with the Shrimp Lettuce Wraps, and I highly recommend them. There were only two, but that was the perfect amount for us. We both agreed they were an excellent starter. It had been a while since I'd last dined here, so I took my time reviewing the menu. I already had my mind made up on the Wedge Salad, but my wife suggested splitting an entrée. We went with the Fish & Chips, and it turned out to be the perfect shared choice. Our waitress, Camryn, did an outstanding job--she even had the entrée split before bringing it to the table. We asked for the fries to be cooked crispy with no seasoning, and they arrived exactly as ordered. The fish was perfectly prepared, and with a splash of malt vinegar... mmm, delicious! The Wedge Salad ended up being the surprise standout. I'm the blue cheese lover in the family, and the Blue Cheese Dressing was off-the-charts good. The added blue cheese crumbles and the drizzle of balsamic took it to another level. I tried sharing it with my wife, but she wanted nothing to do with the dressing--she doesn't know what she's missing! Hands down Pub W has the best meatloaf in OKC. The service was really friendly and informative and the food was amazing. It's a good ambiance for a date or for a group gathering. If you're on the carnivore diet, I recommend coming here. They cater to alternative options. read more

Sooooo...was out storm chasing and took a day off to recharge and regroup. Pub W is across the parking lot from the hotel and non gas station food was on the menu for sure. (PS this is the third time I've been here in 30 hours lol). Came Sunday afternoon and had a lovely IPA and the honey chicken biscuit. First of all the biscuit is flaky and not super dense. Chicken tender was breaded just right and the honey butter was amazing! Nice $5 meal! Today I had the wedge salad and the pigs in a blanket. Nice portions and the beer cheese with the pigs is the best! I sat at the bar and my interactions with the staff was great. Smart, lovely young adults (Bella and Chase), who were all engaging and professional. This is my first time in Oklahoma and was very happy to find this place amongst the hotel park! Pub W is a great place to have a beer and some very good chow. Most beers are local which turned me off till I tried a few amber tap beers they have. The place is regularly packed and TV's everywhere. A great place to watch a game, have a beer and sandwich. The service is always quick and they keep the place spotless. I'm on the fence about this place. I want to try it again before giving it a final review because the flavors were definitely on point but it's one of the greasiest places I've eaten at in OKC. The queso was good but the texture was less of a "sauce" and more of a stretchy cheese. Like I said, great flavors though. The chips were oily because they make them in house. Same goes for the bread on the el chupacabra sandwich and the bun on the pretzel burger. All in all it was an ok experience, the chicken on the chupacabra was really well seasoned and their portions are large! I just wish it had been a little easier on the stomach. Some people don't tolerate greasy food quite as well but this is a PUB so it's to be expected. read more

My family and I were out and about one evening and decided to stop at Pub W for a quick snack and a few drinks. To be fair we only shared 2 appetizers and each had a round of drinks...so I am hoping to update this review once we have a meal here. My fiancé loved his frozen bourbon and cola!! I thought my "perfect margarita" was a little imperfect due to the amount of ice and the very small glass it was in. I would say it was just ok. For apps we had the buffalo shrimp (that was the special for the day's happy hour) and their spicy chicken nachos. The shrimp were fantastic...but the nachos were not traditional, a small portion and left much to be desired. I do have to say the staff were phenomenal. We were seated quickly in a great location and the waitress was very attentive. Looking forward to trying some entree's soon. read more

The place was packed Saturday this afternoon! Turns out Happy Hour runs from 3.00 to 5:00 pm and they had a really great deal on drinks and cocktails. We had the Crispy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps for appetizer. It's a must-try! The tempura-fried shrimps paired well with the pickled veggies! I had the Salmon Poke Bowl - and it's not your regular poke bowl! The salmon was baked and chilled instead of fresh and it came with rainbow quinoa instead of rice! It was light and delicious! Chris had the Moroccan Salmon Salad. The salmon was grilled perfectly and the greens were fresh. The meal looked very appetizing! Only been here for work lunches but I love the variety in the menu! Pub W has a wide variety on their menu, from salads to bowls and burgers. There's always something for everyone here, so it's a pretty good place to go if you have a big group! I've had the Moroccan salmon salad here and the poke bowl. The salmon both times were cooked really well, and the salad was a nice, light dish. The poke bowl was alright, I think it could use more of the dressing and it'd be great. Holy moly! The food was amazing when I went for my first time. We had their shush puppies and they were... phenomenal. I'm talking when me and my boyfriend first bit into them we looked at each other like "whoa". I ordered their lunch special and for $12 I got an amazing wedge salad which usually cost around $12 alone some places plus a delicious tikki sandwich. My boyfriend said he wasn't impressed with the food his first time but he definitely was his second time around. We went around noon on a Thursday and our bartender was kind and very attentive. The restaurant is nice, dim and sports bar-like. We went at 6:30 on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of tables available. Fired chicken and sautéed spicy green beans. The chicken arrived sizzling hot and so I started with the green beans. Wow! These were packed with flavor, medium spice and a nice crunch. Wow First time in OKC and I was def caught by suprise. Being from the north bay I did not know what to expect. Found this by surprise and it did not disappoint. Holy s#$t wow.. Frozen bourbon and cola wtf? Yum! Burnt ends delish. Wedge salad on point. And the Chipotle meatloaf. One of the best. And I've had alot of meatloaf. I can say this place is poppin but it's not loud , it's modern but it's old school, it's delicious and fulfilling. Hope to come back someday with friends and or family. Pub W is one of my fave American food restaurants. Always great food and service. Just don't get the spicy hatch chili stew! I tried it once and didn't care for it, and multiple people have advised against getting it since. They do have some decent appetizers. The crispy shrimp lettuce wrap-the shrimp itself reminds me of how calamari is typically fried. It has a little bit of spice. The queso fundido and pigs in a blanket are good, but I advise against the squash puppies-they didn't quite meet our expectations. Alas, the chicken fried filet is no longer on their regular menu. The fried chicken-we do it fried 365 doesn't come close to the deliciousness of the filet. Current alternatives; 1)habanero pimento cheeseburger-It has pimento cheese, bacon, and fig jam. Note to self: consider adding fig jam to burgers in the future. 2) Chipotle meatloaf-Hear me out. I'm not normally a meatloaf person. Generally, I'm of the opinion meatloaf is one of the ways you ruin good ground beef. However, pub w has changed that. It's all in how you prep and season it. I sub the polenta for mashed potatoes Notable mentions: 1) pretzel burger-fried egg on a burger? Yum! 2) baked salmon If you're here for brunch on a weekend: do yourself a favor and get the chicken fried filet mignon. It's delish! I had their Moroccan salmon salad and it had fresh lettuce, tender juicy salmon and their dressing was good. My wife had the chicken like salad and she loved it! Drinks are I guess what you'd call "artsy" - on its own not a bad thing ... but I am still perplexed as to why my "perfect margarita" came with an olive in it? I tried the Pimm's Cup - it isn't supposed to have Ginger Beer in it - it overpowers all other flavors. Waiter was very attentive -never had an empty glass.
