Stopped for lunch on my drive from Phoenix to LA. I usually just hit a fast food place but thought I would try a sit down place. It's a tiny local restaurant. It has a small inside area and some outdoor seating. Service was friendly! The food was fantastic! Got a burger and curly fries. Good old fashioned made right food.

    Hobo up close! Yum!

Stopped in for a burger based on some other reviews here on yelp & yelp era did not disappoint. We decided to eat outside because it was a lovely day. My husband ordered the special of the day which was a beer cheese burger with grilled onions on a pretzel bun & curly fries. I had the Hobo which is a blue cheese burger with grilled onions & bacon jam with garlic aioli & rosemary fries. The burgers & fries were yummy! Hospitality was also great. The owners is a warm host with a big smile. It's a small & simple place with quality food.

    Outdoor seating available.

Stopped at Skooter's with our party of four and the owner seated and greeted us promptly and warmly. Everything on the menu looked great, and I got the breakfast burrito special and it was ample and very tasty! Lots of local artwork on the walls are for sale at very reasonable prices, and one of the friends in our party fell in love with a very nice desert landscape scene and bought it on the spot! Charming, down to earth, unpretentious vibe, like you're hanging out with family. Outside shaded seating is also available. Recommend.

Open year-round, a rarity in Quartzsite. Dynamite breakfast dishes from 7 to 11 am. The lunch menu is extensive and served from 11 am to 6 pm. Gourmet burgers, chicken, wraps, salads, rosemary fries, and my favorite, fresh-cut curly fries. They serve desserts, too. Dine inside or on the patio. The food is cooked in a food wagon outside. Fast, friendly service. I've worked my way through the burger menu. I love the surprise specials, such as birria or a salmon filet sandwich--family-owned, to-go orders. 455 East Main Street, Quartzsite, AZ. 928-927-3145

Very unique restaurant with friendly staff and great food. Good selection on the menu. Drove right by it the first time, but noticed the sign at the propane refill entrance. Definitely worth the stop.

The swiss cheese and mushroom burger was delish. I like this place. Very nice people and compliments to the chef. She know how to make a classic burger. I will be back when I travel the 10 freeway.

Large menu for a small establishment. Excellent food, friendly service. A gem in the middle of the desert.

Coffee was good, besides not getting a spoon to stir my coffee, that's okay. Coffee was great nonetheless. Breakfast was really good too. HashBrowns was cooked to perfection. Eggs were cooked well too and toast was delicious for sourdough, except I would have liked more butter, but that's okay too. This place is located right next door to a Mc Donald's- (Dick move on corporations) I suggest you give this place a try while driving through Quartzsite for breakfast. A local mom and pop shop that deserves support for a tasty meal.

There was only one server, Josh, running the entire front of the house by himself. Apparently this is customary on Wednesdays. Before he could seat us, he had to clear off a table. Several tables were just in disarray and when people came in, this poor man had to scramble to clean something off. I went to the bathroom and one stall had absolutely no toilet paper or covers. And one dispenser had no soap. The bathroom was just yucky. When I came back, we still didn't have menus or drinks. When our food came, we asked for condiments that took too long that we ended up taking them from another table. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The cook gave me a stale biscuit that just ruined my meal. I couldn't eat it or ask for it to be remade because Josh was too busy to check in on us or refill our drinks. I told him when he came to pick up the plates. He apologized, but he didn't remove it from the check. I paid $10 for a meal I couldn't eat. We got a piece of pie and the taste was kind of weird...like it had been freezer burned and then defrosted. The whole experience was disappointing.

No free chips and salsa here, cost $4.99. seemed everyone liked their food. I ordered 2 Chilli Relleno plate $18.75 because it's something I wouldn't make for myself at home. Bland, 2 stars. I added quite a bit of salt. Overall my entree was unremarkable Service was good enough. She poured more water, asked us if everything was OK. But when I asked for more sauce, she didn't tell me it cost $2.50 extra. So I took it out and of her tip, cos she wouldn't take it off my bill.

Looking over the menu I decided on a machaca and egg burrito. I asked for beans to be added, because it came with potatoes and I did not want potatoes. She asked if I wanted some salsa and I said yes. My order did not take long, about 10 minutes and I got it to go. My dog was in my vehicle so that's why I got it to go. When I pulled back the paper wrap I was surprised to find that the flour tortilla was orange but that sure did not take away from the burritos flavor. The meat, eggs, beans, cheese and that hot sauce was absolutely great. One of the best machaca burritos I have eaten. The total cost of my burrito was $13.91 and well worth it.
