Skorpios Gyros is one of those rare spots where you can taste the passion in every bite. Their large gyro isn't just "big", it's stacked like the owner is trying to make sure you don't leave hungry. The meats are tender and perfectly seasoned. It's the kind of gyro where you open the wrapper and immediately know you're about to eat something made with pride. The seasoned fries deserve their own shoutout. They come out hot, crispy, and coated in a seasoning blend that actually has flavor, not that weak dusting some places try to pass off as "seasoned." These fries are the type you keep snacking on even when you're full because they're just that good. The tzatziki is creamy, and refreshing. Their baklava is delectable and even their sugar free ones still tastes just as sweet. What really sets Skorpios apart is the owner. You can see him working behind the counter clearly proud of what he's serving. He's one of those hard‑working small‑business guys. Every gyro is wrapped with care, every order is made fresh, and you can tell he genuinely wants people to enjoy the food. That passion shows in the quality, the consistency, and the energy of the place. They offer various delivery options like DoorDash or Grubhub but I tend to enjoy taking the time to sit down in the restaurant and enjoy my food there. I was not disappointed at all with the food. It was very delicious and I will definitely be back again.

We had not ate at Skorpios since it moved to 21st street. Big mistake. We both had the gyro Greek salad and it is the best we have ever had. Service was great. Very friendly and offered options for dessert. They really have done a nice job on the inside of the building. This use to be a Pizza Hut and they have cleaned it up and made it very comfortable.

It's so good!!! This is my first time trying this and I'm so glad that I did. Well worth the money

Though it takes a few minutes to get your food, it is well with the wait. Our family loves this place! We tried the nachos for the first time and they were truly loaded. It was enough for two people. Their feta cheese is so good. The staff is super friendly too.

Stopped in for lunch and it was amazing. Had the lamb gyro with a perfect amount of seasoning. The hummus was very delicious. The restruant was extremely clean.

We were looking for something different for lunch... And we found it. This restaurant is really not much to look at but the food is really good. I would strongly recommend it. I had the extra large gyro with onion rings which I really enjoyed. The extra large gyro is really big - I can't imagine how big the 2xl gyro is or even the dumpster gyro but there was plenty of food. The onion rings were great. Wifie had the gyro salad with chicken which she thought was awesome. They have some lemon and mint water that they make the wifie really liked also.

My husband and I love stopping in to Skorpios once or twice a month. They have the best gyro's around! The pitas are warm, soft, and fluffy. The lamb is seasoned perfectly as well. I add banana peppers to mine and it gives it a tangy bite! The service is always friendly, the dining area is always clean, and the food for the price can't be beat! This time we got gyro combo meals with fries and onion rings, fried banana peppers as an appetizer, and 8 piece garlic parm wings. I'd never had their wings before, so I wanted to try them. While they're on the small side, they sure packed a lot of flavor! These wings are breaded with a nicely seasoned breading. The garlic parm sauce was delicious. My favorite food in the area!

I visited Skorpios a few days ago and quite enjoyed my visit. I came in for take-out but appreciated the clean, simple, low key set up of their seating area. I'll definitely consider eating in in the future. I ordered a small gyro combo (which included fries and a drink). The small gyro is on a 6" pita and comes with choice of meat (lamb, beef, or chicken) and lettuce, tomato, and onion. I believe cheese is extra; this isn't my favorite because feta seems like a staple on a gyro to me. I asked what kind of sauce is used on gyros, and they said gyros get gyro sauce, which the cashier described as similar to Ranch dressing. They also have Skorpio sauce, which is a creamy hot sauce. I asked to sub tzaziki and they were amenable to that switch. Overall, the taste was good! The pita was soft. The meat was well-seasoned and savory, although most of the lamb I got was crumbles, not like strips shaved off a spit. The veggies were crisp and fresh. The tzaziki was good, too. (I saw another review described their tzaziki like mayo. I'm guessing this was the Ranch-like gyro sauce, because the tzaziki I had tasted like traditional yogurt-based cucumber sauce.) The fries had a nice seasoning. I would have liked them a bit crispier, but I think this is a failing of doing take-out. I imagine they'd be great if eaten immediately. (But for future reference, I'll remember to ask for take-out fries to be extra crispy.) Although they had quite a few dessert selections, I didn't get any on this visit. I hope to try some of the homemade baklava they advertise the next time I'm back.

I was a bit disappointed by the gyros here. They weren't the worst that I ever had but were by far not the best. I ordered a large lamb gyro and my son had the garbage gyro. They were both very filling but the lamb was very soft and had a ground lamb type of consistency. This was nothing like the traditional gyro I get at better Mediterranean restaurants where they cut the meat off the spit when you order. My wife had a beef gyro and her meat was the same consistency as the lamb. For the price that you pay for their gyros I would expect better. They do however have Frosttop root beer that they serve in a frozen mug. Those are awesome and you definitely want to order that!

Skorpios is the best gyros around here. Of course this is one of the few Greek restaurants in the area. The food is fresh tasting. It looks and tastes like it was made from scratch, so this isn't fast food. They still get it out fairly quick. I ordered the three dips special they had. It's about $10 for any three appetizers or dips. The ones I selected were eggplant, falafel, and hummus. Each of these were good individually. They also nicely complimented each other. It comes with several pitas. which are good for holding the falafel, and spreading the eggplant and hummus. The eggplant had a smoky taste. It was almost as good as the hummus. The price is okay considering the amount they give you. It has basic but really good Greek food. Other items include typical stuff like the gyros and pitas. There's a lot of daily specials.

Skorpios is an amazing restaurant. I've been a regular customer since the owner and his brother opened their shop on E. Main!! They will never disappoint!! The food is always amazing!!
