Fred L.

Came here with my two daughters (10 and 12) on a Saturday to attend a 12noon-3pm birthday party. There is a number of areas: Main jump/trampoline Ball pit Dodgeball (2 courts) Basketball trampoline dunk Ninja course Younger kids play area (near the entrance) Interactive video game wall Party rooms (plus a 2nd level party room that's not enclosed where you can look out over the all the play areas below) Based on my experience with places like this it was well maintained and well staffed. There were lots of staff at the front desk. All were teenagers or early twenties and were very helpful and nice when I interacted with them. There was staff in each of the areas monitoring and they were paying attention. There were a few instances where they stepped in to warn kids of things they should not be doing (climbing on stuff they should not have been climbing on). Here are a few thoughts on this Sky Zone location: 1) I would say that this is a spot for 1-2 hours of play as there is not enough stuff here to keep a kid interested for a longer time and 2) kids with have more fun and be more engaged if they come with a group of other kids they know (family or friends) and 3) based on the activities/areas they have, I would say that this place is geared more for the 11-10 and below age group. There was a decent amount of seating near the court areas for parents to watch. Overall I think that this would be a good spot to bring a group of kids to come and burn off some energy.

8.10.24 They replaced several attractions since the last time I was here in 2022 including the rock wall and ninja wall. The new attractions are more tailored to young children. The credit card reader was down at the concession stand so they were only taking cash. On a weekend when they are the busiest, they should have made it a priority to get it fixed. A staff member who was stationed at an attraction was busy playing on his phone. Also the front desk was very slow. They could use additional staff at the front desk.

Celebrated my grandson's 7th birthday!!! He had a great time with his close friends & family! The concept of letting someone else provide space for kids to run around is great but there are a few things I'd like to see improved. The amount of kids who can jump on one attraction at a time. Sure they have you to sign a waiver to cover them but there's no one monitoring the side where kids that are taller than some adults are doing back flips and jumping so high they could touch the ceiling. The overhead announcements says NOT TO DO THESE THINGS but there's not enough staff monitoring. Not good with smaller kids. Seating is very limited for parents waiting on kids that are not participating with a party. Restrooms didn't have adequate working soap dispensers. There were two out of the maybe 8 dispensers that contained no soap and then others were broke. You need adequate soap dispensaries for proper hand washing. Overall they try their best here to please everyone. I hope they continue to improve and thrive!

just had our son's 5th birthday here and had a great time ! we had the mega package and our birthday host was Sol. He was very attentive and helpful. The facility was clean and our kids had a great time. The price for the package was very reasonable. we'll be back!

My son wanted to celebrate his birthday here and overall It was an okay experience. Then again, it wasn't for me, it was for the kids. Checking in is a little chaotic and unorganized but, we managed. They gave us free jumó passes for the inconvenience, which was very thoughtful . The food/concession area was slow as molasses but the food was good. The pizza didn't taste like a box and the slices were a good portion for teenagers. My son and his friends had fun and that's all that matters

A little teenage fun :)

Ask the Community - Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Someone mention that there is wall climbing here as well. Is this true? I haven't seen the activity in any photo.

Yes, there are several areas to climb including a rock wall and face off wall. We have a warped wall and walking sticks as well.

My kids are on the younger side. If you have older kids there are certain areas zoned off for younger ages. If I had older kids I might be annoyed that 1/3 of the place was not for them. I also noticed that I lost my kid most of the time. The play space is great and offers a lot, but it is really hard to keep track of your kid once they go in the big jungle gym. I also tried to follow them and it is not created for an adult size to fit.

When we first arrived, the entrance was pretty chaotic. Parking is limited, especially when birthday parties are going on, and the lobby felt very crowded. Checking in also took longer than expected because one guest ahead of us needed help completing the waiver, while everyone else waited. Thankfully, a manager stepped in and got our party checked in quickly. The shoe storage area was another bottleneck. Since each party has designated bins, there were a lot of people gathered in one small space, making it difficult to get in and out. Once we were inside, though, things improved. The facility itself was clean, including the bathrooms, and the kids had plenty of space to play. The birthday host was very friendly, but he seemed a little overwhelmed and forgot a few things throughout the party. It wasn't a bad experience--just not quite as organized as other birthday parties I've attended. Overall, it was a fun afternoon, and the birthday child had a great celebration. While I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit this particular location, I would attend another party here if invited. I still prefer the Rockville location, which has been a smoother experience for me.

It's a newer facility with plenty of parking, a different layout than Frederick, and lots of attractions. The two-level go-kart track looked awesome, the climbing attractions were fun, and the kids had a great time overall. The employees working the attractions were friendly and did a good job interacting with the kids. Unfortunately, the operational side of our visit brought the experience down. We spent over 30 minutes trying to purchase an arcade game card because one of the kiosks kept freezing. There was a sign saying it might run slowly, but this was much more than "a few seconds." After notifying the front desk, we still had to wait quite a while before the issue was resolved, cutting into our play time. I also noticed several attractions were closed or out of order, and there didn't seem to be many employees walking the floor if guests had questions or needed assistance. While the staff at the attractions were great, finding help elsewhere wasn't easy. One thing that stood out was the amount of police presence around the property. I also noticed broken auto glass in the parking lot and numerous signs throughout the entrance stating that no guns or weapons were allowed. While I understand businesses post policies for safety, seeing so many signs along with the other observations made the atmosphere feel a little less comfortable than other locations we've visited. Overall, everyone still had fun, and that's what matters most. The facility itself has a lot to offer, but I think improving the guest experience, fixing equipment more quickly, and having more staff available would make a big difference. I'd visit again, but I hope to see some improvements next time.

It's a creative concept that it can be very cold, rainy, etc., and it's a viable mini golf option. In fact, the time I went was windy & pretty cold out. This was a work Halloween team building outing in early November 2023, where we dressed in costume and enjoyed mini golf paid for by our company, which was a nice treat (or was it a Trick? to get us to spend our Thursday night with work folks...haha...j/k). I actually did have fun. The staff was cordial and instructed us how we needed to score to take the individual's best score to save time, which I thought was a bit unnecessary. It was a little chaotic and kind of crowded. If you have say 4 people on a team, then people are awkwardly standing on ledges while other players are trying to putt, meanwhile you have other teams on other holes that directly butt up to the hole you're on. And remember, this was a private event. Imagine when it's open to the public, you might be dealing with a crowded scenario. As for the course itself, it's glow in the dark, which is kind of cool, but given the limited space constraints, the course is kind of subpar compared with almost any outdoor course in central Maryland. And the price is about the same as an outdoor course; I'd prefer an outdoor course and waiting until weather warms up to do that. They also have some Arcade games, which we got a $5 credit for each employee. That was fun. I played some air hockey & other random games. Overall, I appreciated what my company was doing, had some fun, but with the pros & cons of Monster Mini Golf, I feel a 3-star review is warranted.

I chose the VIP package again, and it is worth every single penny. I had just driven in from Florida the night before, and honestly, it felt like I attended my daughter's party as a guest. That's how effortless everything was. This is actually my second time leaving a review because that's how exceptional this place is. The kids had an incredible time -- fully engaged from start to finish. Miss Tatiana, Coach Cameron, and the entire team were outstanding. They managed everything seamlessly and kept the energy high the entire time. What truly sets Emilia's apart is how little you have to do as a parent. I shared a few ideas and color preferences, and they handled everything -- decorations, setup, flow of the party -- all of it. No stress, no back-and-forth, just execution. The party ran for three hours, and the kids were genuinely upset when it ended. Even parents who arrived early found their kids still fully engaged and not ready to leave. You can tell the staff truly love what they do, and that makes all the difference. Working with Tatiana was effortless -- I mentioned what I wanted, and she made it happen without hesitation. After a long trip, walking into a perfectly organized and beautifully executed party meant everything. My daughter was so happy, and that's what matters most. If you're looking for a place where your child will have an amazing time and you can actually enjoy the party without stress, this is it. Highly, highly recommend.
