This is my second time visiting this venue. It was better the first time. The music was better. They changed the name of it but its the same. I liked the atmosphere for the most part and the music wasn't bad. Parking is free and I wasn't charged a cover fee. My only issue was with my server and the prices.. I ordered a $14 drink. She said it was $17 (without explaining fees and gratuity) so I gave her a 20. She gave me $3 so i asked for the receipt and realized I was owed more change.. Me and one of my friends attended recently to watch a fight. I had been here once before and got great service at the bar so we sat at the bar again and were waited on by Breyohn. She kept our glasses full and we had great service. They also have food and we tried their wings and fries. My friend did not enjoy them but were OK for me. They are pretty large inside with a stage in the middle of the building. Towards the back is another bar and a number of pool tables. This place has so much potential to be amazing, highly profitable and popular sports bar. Sadly what they lack in morals for a quick small gain will kill the business in the long run, as reviews and word of mouth get out. Tonight was my first time here with my friend, great environment amazing music very happy to be here initially. after ordering food and drinks, well over tipping and complementary to waitress on her hard work and making sure that she's well taken care of financially for the hard work that she's putting in. I am instead greeted with Low morals and lack of trust as I pay for a five dollar drink with a $20 bill and ask her just to bring $12 back (pretty amazing tip for one drink that cost $5) and The tips like that kept going on the food and all the other drinks I got before this. So after about 20 minutes goes by I have to go up and ask for the $12 that she told me she was going to come back with. Her explanation was " oh I was just going to hold onto the cash just in case you wanted to order another drink" nope that has never happened to me ever in 100+ bars. I went to eat crawfish on a late Friday night. I started with 2 lbs. The crawfish was big and they were pretty good but lacked seasoning. I could taste the spice hotness though. We came to this SHITHOLE for drinks and hookah around 6:30 tonight. When we got there, our server Reese, informed us we had gotten there at good time because they would start charging around 8. We asked why, she said because a fight was coming on. We sat there and ordered drink after drink (Hennessy), and a Hookah. Just minding our own business. Around 8:25, Reese came and said the manager was asking that everyone who came in before 8 be charged $10 per person at the table. We asked why, she said, essentially, because the manager said so. The place was pretty empty so it was clear she (the manager) was trying to use us to recoup her loss. We told Reese that we had not come for the game and would not be paying additional since we had come in well before the cut off time. After that, it was drama. The manager (a woman) proceeded to send TWO different men over to our table to THREATEN and BULLY us into paying the $10. I had to ask the 2nd guy to leave us alone SEVERAL times before he finally moved to another table with women and started hassling them. He skipped the tables with men. He also said "Well, if you don't agree, I'll just add it to your bill then anyway." Told him if he added it, I'd call police and that bill wouldn't be paid. Mind you, we had already racked up a tab that was over $100. Each time, we had asked to speak to the manager and each time the manager would just send over a new guy to harrass us. It was such a surreal experience. The men here have no respect for their female patrons. Each time the manager sent someone, we refused to pay each time, specifically because we had come in over an hour before they started charging, and secondly because we had not even known a fight was happening. On the way out, I confronted the manager, who was by the entryway and recorded the incident telling her that she was very ridiculous for trying to do that to us. And that it was essentially fraud what she was trying. The bouncer, if thats what you can even call him since he is SO small, a bearded guy who had NOTHING to do with our conversation proceeded to put his hands on me and call me a stupid bitch for recording the interaction with the manager eventhough the manager was recording it too. He yelled this at the time of his lungs and started trying to push his tiny chest out at me. I told him if he put his hands on me again he'd have a big issue on his hands. He proceeded to insult me for the next 10 minutes calling me names and telling me to "Get the fuck out" loudly over and over for all their patrons to hear. He even tried justifying why he called me a stupid bitch outkof nowhere. I have been coming here for over 2 years and have met that guy several times. NEVER have I had this treatment till this new management started a couple months ago. I am so disappointed. And the truth is, if I was a white woman, NONE of this bullying would have happened. In town for the night, wanted to catch the NCAA Finals. Saw "Sports Grill" from the street. Dropped in. Immediately knew that I made a mistake. Large place. Televisions everywhere, most were tuned to baseball (on the night of the NCAA Finals). They had a large screen over the bar that had the NCAA game projected from a very bad projector. The audio to the game that was pumped into the Sports bar was poor quality and audio was delayed from the image that was projected on the screen. And for a night of the NCAA Finals, the place was barren - except for the folks dancing on the dance floor in the middle of the Sports bar. Yes, a dance floor. With people dancing. During a basketball game. Did I mention it also is a Hookah bar? Food was edible. My draft beer clearly indicated that they did not clean their beer lines in a while, or ever. Ate and left. Went on a Friday, nice ambiance. Played variety of music including Latin/Tropical. Bartender was pleasant and restrooms were clean. My only complaint...music was too loud. And yes I know it was a Friday BUT...I could not talk with out yelling and I kept having to repeat myself 3 times for every phrase I said. It was just a little overkill on the volume. If I could give zero stars about this place I surely would! First of all, someone tell me how tf does 1 skittles drink and 1 hookah just for myself end up being 42.81 cents? So I called the lil Hispanic bar tender over who served me and he tells me the hookah is 24 dollars. Okay but when I showed him the menu he was like well it's 22 because of tax. It was my first time here and I honestly had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was laid back and they had pool tables, dart boards and table tennis tables. Our waitress attended to us quickly. I had an amaretto sour which I thought was too sour and for my next drink, I had a strawberry margarita which was all sorts of AMAZING! This is usually my place. There's never too many people, drinks are good and strong, and I have my usual waitresses and bartenders....but today was not good. This place has gone under new management and they totally disrespected us today. We ordered our drinks, hookah and food. We barely ate the food so we asked for to go boxes like anyone would. We put all of our food in the boxes, not really paying attention to the plates. Our waitress came to pick up the empty plates and our waitress innocently mentioned "hey I think one of you guys lost your lash in the bowl" NONE OF US had on any makeup or any false lashes. I looked in the bowl and was totally distraught that there was a lash strip in the bowl. I told the waitress that it definitely wasn't ours and she went to talk with the manager. The manager then sent another waitress over to say they were not going to compensate our order because we ate it all. We ABSOLUTELY DID NOT. We had just dumped everything in to go boxes. So, I asked to speak to speak to the manager directly, he then said "none of our cooks have eyelashes" I responded with neither do we, you can review every camera to see how we looked when we came in. He did not want to refund us. We eventually were compensated for that dish. I still don't understand why he didn't just immediately issue out the no charge and tried to fight it when TWO of his waitresses agreed with us. This new management is terrible! We are regulars. We know waitresses, bartenders, etc. we come here often and I can't believe how we were treated. I will not be back! The customer should never be in question with something like that. Great night with my family, music was amazing ! He played old school , R&B, hip-hop, reggae,and naija music! Loved it! Bottle service was ok. One bottle of apple crown was 150 and it came with a free section. Hookah was 20 bucks and very smooth. Service was very slow. I loved the Suya, very spicy but flavorful. I visited this establishment on, November 30, 2021, for the first time. I enjoyed the scenery. However, my disappointment came when I received a notification from my card that they added a tip that I did not sign for. I gave the bar tender a cash tip, and they took it upon themselves to add a tip on my card. This is very disturbing! It is not about the amount, but the fact that they had the audacity to do so! I have my original receipt (in which I keep for any and all transactions specifically for situations like this and as a business owner myself)! They may not be use to their customers remembering, or having anything to say, or simply not caring, but I do. It is my money, and I have what I wanted as a tip! Hopefully this is a lesson that they should not ever run somebody's card, for an amount that was NOT signed for by the customer. I will reach out to the establishment as well, to discuss my concerns.
