Scam Don't trust the good reviews, the company seems to me to be a scam system! They wrote me a payment schedule without a work schedule where they charged the majority of the labor payment upfront in contrast to the fine print on their own quote sheet that it is illegal to charge more than 15% labor upfront. Ruben the project manager along with David my sales rep also helped things run smoothly. Had other quotes that were much higher and didn't include the repair of damage due to a leaking window( drywall and stucco). Saw a negative review and he didn't have the same sales rep.. My original goal was to create a sound resistant enclosure for my home office without obstructing the view and without limiting the open feel and flow of our house during non-business hours and on the weekends when we want to open all the doors up. I did not want to do the typical barn door style that some home offices have. I definitely did not want to frame a wall with a single small entry door. I wanted something with a glass conference room look and feel with sound resistance for business phone calls to block out noise from the kitchen and kids playing in the house. I searched for several weeks and exchanged info with various glass companies and contractors, but I was not impressed with anyone. Nobody was able to convince me that they could handle the project and complete my objective. Finally, when I was about to give up the search, I stumbled across Skye Walls. Their product and service offering seemed interesting, so I completed a contact form on their website explaining what I was looking for. The next day I received a call from Tom. He was more enthusiastic about the project than I was at this point. I could tell he had a good understanding of what I was trying to do and believed he could execute it. He wanted to learn more, so we set up a FaceTime call so he could see my space and so he could virtually take me through the showroom. I was very impressed that he actually took the time to listen and understand what I was trying to accomplish. Most of the other companies I talked to could only do basic glass replacement jobs and had no idea how to carry out my vision. Tom and Eric came to my home to take hard measurements and to physically see my space, so they could make some design recommendations. Originally I was considering doing a 3-panel bifold door to save space. I liked the bifold door concept because it would allow me to have almost a 100% unobstructed access when fully open, including the privacy and sound resistance when closed. The only issue with the bifold was that part of the door would fold up either inside or outside of the room, which I was somewhat concerned about. I did not originally want to do sliding glass doors because I did not want half of my entry way to be obstructed when completely open. However, Tom and Eric came up with the brilliant idea of doing somewhat of a pocket slider behind the entry way on the inside of the room with 4 panels, 2 on each side creating a 100% unobstructed entry when fully open with no fold-up space to worry about. This was exactly what I wanted so we started the order process! They custom ordered my door to fit my entry way and it took a few weeks to build and complete, but as soon as it was ready, they called to schedule the installation. They came over and knocked out 99% of the job all in one day! The installation crew was totally professional. This is what they do all day every day and they knew exactly what they were doing and didn't waste any time. Rocky was the head installer and he took charge of the project. He paid extreme attention to detail and you could tell he takes a lot of pride in the quality of his work. He came back another day to take care of some finishing touches to make every single piece perfect. Overall, I am super pleased with Skye Walls and the outcome of my home office! I would definitely work with Skye Walls again in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a full service design and installation for a similar type of project. read more

Should've read the reviews. Called this co to set up an estimate. Was excited to hopefully use them since they could install as well. Got an email response to set up a quote. I responded a couple of hours later, only to have to follow up a couple times over the next 2 days to see if we were locked in. I got a message that the time offered to us was no longer available and we would have to wait a couple of weeks. Wasn't happy since we need to lock down a company to get our project moving sooner than later. 3 days before our appt, i was told they had to cancel and reschedule for another week later. Guess this was my sign it was best to part ways now. When we originally called to schedule we were told the reason we had to wait a couple more weeks was someone was on maternity leave or going on maternity leave. You would think the co would schedule having a replacement.. guess they're swimming in enough business to be so lax about loosing customers read more

Believe it or not that Mr. D W, sounds like he is in charge, quoted me more than twice much as the others promoting also Anlin Windows, the same model.... I question D W about the outrageously high price and got the feeling that because property is located in Palos Verdes area and also it is a rental property and I lives in other state... so price gouging is his sales techniques, which is wasting Sky Wall's time and resources .... To start we like the finished product. Installation experience could have been way better. We had a simple job we were told and they sent a training crew of 5-6 who literally stood around the first day. End result were holes in walls, no doors in and boards for the night. Total installation took 3 days with a team returning the following week to replace missing and erroneous parts. Jake and Louis were professional and all that was needed for the job. Make sure you get the "A" team. With all the issues the GM didn't even come over to better understand all the problems or ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction. We live on the third floor of a beautiful condo complex. Skye Walls salesperson, David, assured us that Skye Walls would be able to get the extremely heavy and oversized windows up to our Unit. On the day of installation, the crew arrived: Jr., Raul, Jason, Remy, and Keke hand-carried our windows up three flights of stairs. We were very impressed. Prior to bringing our windows up, they covered just about every exposed floor area as possible. It took three days to complete the project, during which time Rocky would check on things. The crew worked diligently and neatly, cleaning as they went along. The windows are magnificent. They are nearly floor-to-ceiling in the living room, yet open and close with the greatest of ease. Update on the doors. We had a rocky start to say the least but I have to say Skyewalls redeemed themselves with flying colors. The most important thing about any company is taking accountability. Things happen, sometimes out of anyone's control, but being able to do what's right to correct the problem and solve the issue speaks more about the integrity of the company then anything else. Mike Johnson the manager became my knight in shining armor in working with me every step of the way to address every minute issue from big to small in making sure I was happy with what was happening and what I got. He went above and beyond what was asked and accommodated every request I had. I couldn't be happier with the end result and the beautiful doors we got installed.
