I've had water intrusion through a window in my home that's very hard to get to which has led me to have issues trying to get the window replaced. Danny came to check my window out which is currently under remediation due to the water intrusion. Since it's all opened up, he was able to see that it's not the window, as I've been told. QUALITY OF SERVICE - NO WARRANTY! Lesson learned - they were the least expensive of all the vendors I called. I got what I paid for, poor quality workmanship and no warranty on their work. Turned out, there's no warranty at all on their operational job that his son had failed to mention when I made an appointment, and the father, who worked on my sliding screen door, didn't mention anything as well when he was working on it. He's now recommending that I should replace that screen door with no credit from his repair work that only lasted half a day. The son who answered the phone was nice enough to squeeze in me in their schedule the following week at 7am. The father showed up on time, Tuesday morning, and replaced the bottom roller of my screen door and made multiple screw adjustments on top and bottom of the sliding screen door. Got rid of the rubber weather strip on the side of it that's been there for 12 years saying that it's rubbing against the door and affecting the way it slides. After half an hour, I could then slide the door open easily but closing it was not smooth and showed me that the door was no longer square. (though it was, for 12 years). I settled for it since I could open it now and just to remember to close it carefully. That late afternoon, the sliding screen door wouldn't close anymore but got busy and didn't get a chance to call it in after the following Monday morning. He said I should have called it in the following day. Yes, I should have done that but since i got busy at work. read more

The owner's response that I didn't measure correctly is not true! I brought in the screen that I was replacing because it was constantly falling off the window (it was barely wide enough to stay in the frame). I asked that a new screen be made EXACTLY like the broken screen that I left with them, but make it 1/4" wider. The height and width of the finished screen was fine, but it wouldn't slide into the window frame. When I called another screen company they came out and I showed them the screen that Anaheim Screen & Glass made for me. The technician from the other company showed me that the reason the new screen wouldn't slide into the frame is because Anaheim Screen & Glass used a FRAME FOR THE SCREEN THAT WAS TOO THICK ! That is why it wouldn't slide into the screen frame!!!! They had the old screen with them and didn't bother to check the thickness of the frame before they made a new screen. As for the owner's comment about my doing business at that location for decades, I am not confused. I clearly stated in my previous review that new owner's who don't stand behind their work took over from the previous owner. They made the screen frame the wrong thickness and they wouldn't fix it or refund my money! read more

I called to get a repair done to my sliding door since the rollers / track seemed like it's in need of repair. I am a repeat customer since this company installed one of my panels a year ago and they did a good job. They wanted to charge me $100 to come to diagnose the situation. Which I'm fine with but if it included changing the tracks, they couldn't help me and I would need a brand new sliding door bc they are out of tracks. I asked what any normal person would ask which is if I decide to go with you, would that $100 service fee go toward the repair. Simple yes or no. They said said no. But just asking these questions seemed to fluster the owner and his son when the questions I'm asking is based on the fact that I'm NOT A PROFESSIONAL PATIO DOOR INSTALLER. They advised me if I wanted to save money then get a pic of the balls bearings myself or go Somewhere else. If I knew how to take the panels out to take the bearings out, why Would I need your service? The owner asked me if "the person who thinks it's the rollers just a know it all Handyman or he actually knows what he's doing?" Why does it even matter? All I wanted to ensure was that I wasn't going to be making an appointment for them to come out to tell me it's the tracks and if there's anything I could do in advance to ensure I'm not paying $100 for my time to be wasted. Couldn't even tell me what signs to look for to show it might or might not be the tracks. Every question I asked just led to them to tell me to 1) go somewhere else 2) take out the panels and removed the ball bearings myself. It wasn't until I dug deeper that they actually explained that the $100 fee would be to have someone come out and physically remove the door panels in order to diagnose. Now... that's a good answer! And I would have made an appointment knowing that but after the hostile and rude conversation, I def don't feel Comfortable utilizing their service. I never expect anyone to do work for me at my house without payment and I truly felt Insulted for them to insinuate that. but I do always want to be clear and understand what I'm paying for and if you don't like explaining things to customers who are not Professional patio door installers, then you shouldn't be in this industry. I really wanted to like this company because the man who answered the phone was so friendly. But, the communication from them is not good. We reached out to them a week ago to see if they could repair or replace our shower door. I was very clear that we were working under a strict deadline due to an open house. I left a voicemail. I called again a day or two later. Was told I'd get a call back in 15 minutes. Nope. Called again and then got a call back to schedule them to come look at the door. Guy comes out, looks at door, leaves and says he'll be back. Didn't contact us again that day or the next. So we reach out multiple times more just to find out (super last minute, only one work day until our open house) that he can't do anything for us. Now we are scrambling to find someone who can help.
