Came for Sunday brunch and started with the tuna Niçoise. The flavor was good, and the portion was generous for an appetizer salad. For the main course, I had the poached Maine lobster. While the eggs were creamy and the lobster portions were sparse (only three pieces), the dish still tasted nice. The dessert menu had plenty of choices--anything with caramel is a safe bet. If you don't mind paying over a $100 for views, during brunch, this beautiful restaurant is for you! Besides that, my experience was terrible. Starting off from making a large group reservation, was a pain. It was if no one wanted to answer the phone and being transferred a gajillion times. Just to be told they'll reach back out, then again more phone calls and email. Mind you, I called a month in advance and didn't secure our spot until a couple days before the event! Next, finally the restaurant experience. Not a very pleasant check-in. It was as if we had to do everything ourselves. Host, wait staff, everything was just soooo slow. They took forever for everything and the restaurant was not packed. Food was mediocre. Bread tasted stale. Mimosa cart was extra and the price is priced per glasses, not bottomless. Recently went to Skyhigh for lunch and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. The restaurant/ hotel are decorated beautifully and of course the views of the city are incredible. As for their food, not great my mom asked for no tomatoes in her sandwich and it came with tomatoes. My fries were good but the burger was subpar. My sister had to ask for ice twice before being given it. For the price you pay I expected more. I will likely only get drinks there going forward, food is nothing special. read more

We had lunch yesterday at 11:30am and thought the place had beautiful views and clean. However, my shrimp burger was so salty and asked no salt on fries and it was heavily salted when arrived. I told the server that the shrimp burger was so salty which I switched to the bacon cheeseburger which was better. However the place was expensive for the quality of food that you get (burger $28). Overall was disappointed with the food but the view was amazing. As tourists from California, we will not return and would recommend elsewhere for lunch. read more

This place is so chic. Located at the best luxury hotel in Philadelphia; the Four Seasons. Took my in-laws here for a fancy cocktail before dinner and we had drinks gazing out of the windows to capture panoramic views of Philly. Definitely a bit pricey, but understandably so. The atmosphere and view of the place is amazing as it is located at the top of the Comcast tower. We didn't really like the way they setup the booth and seating as for small party of 2-3, you're practically next to another party and could hear everything. The service can take quite awhile and for some, this might be what they're looking for. The food is okay as the flavor can be a bit on the bland side but it was cooked well. My partner and I were visiting Philly and this place has been on my radar ever since it opened right before the lockdown of 2020. We lived in LA and as we walked inside, my partner shouted, "This feels like we're back in LA" since LA is so spectacular with its rooftop restaurants. Overall, most observatory restaurants can get away with serving mediocre food for the view. This is not the case with Skyhigh. Each course was absolutely delicious. Portions were tiny and very expensive. We started off with the Wagyu Spring Rolls. They were super tasty though very little food for the hefty price tag. Once you get out of the elevator, it feels like you just leveled up. It's beautiful, the views are immaculate, and the people are amongst the most accommodating people I've ever come across in a restaurant setting. Make sure you make a reservation in advance. I had to make mine a month out, so just plan ahead. The service is great. Everything we ordered came out in good time. The waitress and hostess were just really nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were good. The food is just nothing sort of A1 of you catch my drift, lol. My Kady loved her agnolotti. I tried it too, and it was delicious. The cheese it was filled with was just chef's kiss. I ordered the chicken and the sauce it came with, just put it over the top. The chicken skin was crispy, and the inside was warm and juicy. Made me feel like a bad cook since it came out so perfect, lol. Came here on an early Friday afternoon to check out the views and the establishment before the evening events, and I was absolutely impressed! The elevator ride up was an absolute thrill as you can see the outside view as your ascend to the top floor destinations. Not for the faint of heart, but an awesome experience. Didn't have reservations and the bar was full pre happy hour, so luckily a table was made recently available after arriving. The view, amazing, a rare view of Philly that you can get a peak of only when landing at the airport. But this was more detailed and thrilling as it is up close and personal with the iconic skyline. The Truffle pizza is truly one of the most memorable meals I've ever had. It was delicious and now I'm on a hunt for anything with truffle just as good, which has not yet happened. Finding free or street parking to the venue was a little challenging, but there is a public parking lot which you can pay in increments of 2 or 4 hours. If you do it through the machine, you'd have to leave the permit on the dashboard. You can also download an app to pay that way or to keep track of the timer for your vehicle. As for dining in the restaurant, unfortunately, The restaurant area was still in renovation when I was dining there, but they were opening up that part of the restaurant the next day. I barely missed it. I do however look forward to coming back here with friends. The drinks were delicious, but we were most satisfied with the shareable appetizers. We didnt have much of an appetite and really wanted to come for the experience, but the food was satisfactory. The portions were fair for the price. You can even order some drinks outside from what the menu offered as long as the bartender knows how to make it and they have the ingredients for the drink. Yusef was our server and he was very attentive to all our needs. I have been wanting to dine here for some time... I made reservations online for 3; the day of the reservation, the other 2 in my party arrived on time but I was about 5 minutes late because I was looking for parking but when I made it inside I was alerted that the restaurant was running behind, which wasn't a problem because I was able to take in the beautiful view of the city from the restaurant lobby while waiting - our wait (from the time I arrived was less than 10 minutes). We were seated in the main dining area and our waitress came to our table less than 5 minutes after we were seated; me and another person in my party ordered the salmon, which came with mashed potatoes and broccolini and the other person in my party ordered a salad (I think it was a kale salad) and a spinach pizza (there was something else on the pizza that I can't recall). It didn't take our entrees long to come out and we all enjoyed our food - so much that we all cleaned our plates; the portion sizes were perfect. We also ordered dessert - the chocolate cake, which was served with a scoop of ice cream, that was delicious too (we all ordered the same dessert). I don't recall the reason why but oddly, 2 of the desserts came out at the same time and the 3rd seemed to take about 20 minutes - we cleaned our dessert plates too. Because of the delay on the 3rd dessert, we were comped on all 3 - nit expected but appreciated as the ice cream started to melt a little for the 2 of us that waited. Overall, I definitely recommend this place - it is definitely a gem in the city: the crowd was good, the atmosphere of the restaurant is casually upscale, the service was pretty good as well as the food. To optimize the beautiful views (especially if you're trying to set a mood or impress someone), I recommend making your reservation just before the sun sets. read more

Honestly, the ambiance here is amazing, there's no doubt about it. You can totally dress up or down and not feel out of place because you see many people on dates as well as guests from the Four Seasons having dinner here. But... this place can be a hit or miss when it comes to the food. I have been here a few times for drinks which were always great, but my last experience having dinner was subpar. The food just isn't worth the $$$. I feel like if you have to spend $300-$400 for one night's dinner, then it better be worth it. Even the presentation was so bad to be honest, I always am enthusiastic about taking food pictures and I just couldn't make it look edible! You can see one picture that I have uploaded of the Salmon topped with what appears to be some sort of mushroom. You might as well put a dead rat on top of it and you wouldn't know the difference. Service was great! Every staff member was amazing. My friend and I got seated with no reservation on a Saturday night. We ordered broccoli dip, it should be called broccoli hummus. It was like hummus and cold but I thought it would be warm and cheesy like crab dip or spinach dip. We also ordered a fontina and mushroom pizza, it was good but should be ordered by mushroom lovers only, I was surprised by the amount of mushrooms on there, don't order it and think you will be able to pick them off. When I heard Jean-Georges was bringing his culinary excellence from NYC to Philadelphia I knew it was a must-visit for me. OMG. The location of this restaurant is gorgeous. Architecture is everything to me and whoever engineered this building is a genius. It is only fitting that JG would have his restaurant here surrounded by glass and the skyline. Every step that you take closer to the bar makes you feel super glamorous. Food is good but nothing spectacular so 5 stars for location but 4 stars for food. We had such a romantic and fun night celebrating our anniversary at JG SkyHigh. We purposely booked a reservation around 5:45pm so we could potentially grab a spot by the window (since they open at 5:30pm) and also be able to dine in and see both the daylight and also sunset/night view. This lounge is located on the 59th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel. You enter through the hotel and take the elevator up. If you're scared of heights like my partner, it might be a bit intimidating, but if you're not, the elevator ride offers a nice view of Philly with the glass panels. As soon as you get off the elevator, you'll soon be amazed by the interior of the place. I absolutely love the modern & classy look of the lounge. The escalator located in the middle of this lounge takes you down to an actual JG restaurant that offers multiple course tasting menus. At JG SkyHigh even though it's a lounge, we enjoyed the dishes we got. We had: - chargrilled squid with potato - black truffle and fontino pizza - shrimp and mushroom risotto Everything was so delicious and was above my expectations. My partner loved the pizza and I love the risotto dish. The pizza crust is exactly how we like it - chewy and soft. The risotto dish is so flavorful. I love the umami taste. The waiter was super friendly and even brought out a complementary chocolate cake at the end for our anniversary. It was such a sweet gesture. The chocolate cake was also amazing! Instead of icing - they used toasted marshmallows. What a perfect way to end the meal. We also dined in on the day Phillies won the game that advanced them to the World Series. They had the game up while we were there. I guess if you're looking for a classy place to watch sports game this is your place! Tip: they open their reservation one month in advance.
