As many people have stated you come here for the view not the food. We made reservations and I think maybe one could specify to have a table with a view because all of the inner tables do not allow you to see much other than what is reflected off of the ceiling. Maybe it was an off night but found the service to be a bit slow. It took us about an hour to get one drink each. We were going to order food as well but by the time they asked we had been there for so long, we were weary of how much time it would take and declined to order anything else. The food and drink menu was a bit limited and not particularly interesting. My drink was ok and so was my friends. They tasted fine. I want to point out in their waiting area they have a view but put dots on the glass (I suspect so you have to pay to get an unobstructed one). As an experience, it was overall disappointing

Randomly found this place through a Chase and Opentable collab and my husband wanted to check out the view for his birthday. We waited in the main lobby for about 30 minutes because we didn't have a reservation and the bar was full. When we made our way up, we were greeted by a beautiful view. It took maybe another 10 minutes before a seat opened up but we were able to order a drink while waiting. I ordered the Lychee Raspberry Bellini and it was delightful. It was light and fruity and didn't taste like an alcoholic beverage. We had a great time celebrating and we will be back (with reservations next time!)

My girlfriend wanted to come here to watch the sunset for her birthday, and it turned out to be a great choice. Since it was the weekend, we had to wait in the lobby downstairs for about 15-20 minutes. Luckily, we made it up just in time to catch the sunset and take some amazing photos. We were also fortunate enough to find seats at the bar, but if you want guaranteed seating, it's definitely better to make a reservation in the main seating area. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Valet / Nearby Parking Atmosphere - The view is absolutely the star of the show. Watching the sunset over the city from this height creates an unforgettable experience, especially for a special occasion. The space itself feels upscale and lively without being overwhelming. Service - The service was excellent. Our bartender, Michael, made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. He was attentive, friendly, and added to the overall experience. My girlfriend especially appreciated the complimentary olives, which was a nice touch. What We Ordered - Old Fashioned (Very well balanced and smooth) Cucumber Martini (Refreshing and perfectly crafted) Final Thoughts - This was the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday. Between the stunning views, great drinks, and attentive service, it made for a memorable evening. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a great lounge experience in Philadelphia.

I just love getting breakfast here. Super good Benedict great coffee and fast friendly service. Really easy to get a table at 7am. Super fun elevator ride The view doesn't suck either. ;-)

This place is a spot. Located in the heart of Philadelphia inside the Four Seasons Hotel, it sits on the 60th floor with absolutely stunning views. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service is truly top-notch. From check-in to our waiter, everything was seamless. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The food was very good--we went for lunch, and I loved that brunch items were still available. There's also a large bar area, making it a great place to stop in just for drinks and the views. I can't wait to come back again!

Jean-George rooftop bar/restaurant atop the Four Seasons in Philly. Lots of windows and mirrors making it look very spacious. There was a live band playing that day which made it a little extra special. Credit card deposit to make the reservation for a prix fixe brunch. Service is kind of slow. The food was delicious. Avocado toast, the warm Brie with pita, the lobster risotto were all highly recommendable. Desert is included and when you go down the stairs to the lower level, the bar is setup with a massive spread of dessert bites. Delicious. Great place to go for special occasions or to impress a date! Day time views of Philly aren't that amazing but it must be gorgeous at night.

Date night came correct. I loved this place! Sooo pretty, coolest elevator ride soooo high up that speaks to its name, and the Christmas decorations were stunning inside! We got such lovely photos. Service was wonderful. I couldn't even drink more than a couple sips of the espresso martini I ordered for him to try. Still not on the level of the one I first had in Toronto but cute Christmas tree etched on top! I have to convince him to stay at this hotel now! My first time experiencing Philly and this is a staple for sure. Go, enjoy!!!

We visited Sky High at night, and the experience was incredible from start to finish. The service stood out immediately--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Our server checked in often enough to make sure we had everything we needed, but still let us enjoy the atmosphere. And *what* an atmosphere. The nighttime view of downtown Philly is absolutely stunning--floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the city lights, making it the perfect spot for a special night out or just a memorable treat. We finished with their apple pie, and it was one of the highlights of the evening. Buttery, warm, and beautifully balanced--and if you go, do yourself a favor and add an extra scoop of ice cream. It takes the whole thing over the top. Highly recommend Sky High for great service, incredible views, and a dessert you won't forget.

This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. The view alone made this a 10/10. I got to celebrate my birthday here and every single thing we ate was so so good! The salmon rice cracker was especially good. The staff was also so lovely and gave us complimentary desserts! While there are items on the menu that are pricier, they also have a lot of more reasonable items like the pizza and burger! So don't be afraid to come here, it is worth it! And try to come right before the sun sets- you won't be disappointed!

Been dying to try this place and after two failed attempts, it finally happened. We got seats at the bar with little wait midday. Mehdi made me a delicious espresso martini. Then I had a spritz. They set out some bar snacks which complimented the cocktails. Perfect place to stop before dinner.

Came here to celebrate my birthday this year and we are so glad we did! I was here once before for drinks and my boyfriend was never here. We were seated at a window and I was extra happy about that! The views of our beautiful city are wonderful everywhere we looked! Our view at dinner was of south Philadelphia: liberty place, the Delaware River, stadiums, etc. The service was impeccable! Matt waited on us and he was wonderful! Talked to us, found out what we were celebrating, provided his knowledge of whatever we were eating or drinking. Top notch! Can't wait to go back to celebrate something else!

This place was really above and beyond. Had breakfast here. Aside from the majestic views, the sound of the indoor waterfall, it is the service which brings this all together. Staff is incredibly apt at the mastery of service. Joey was phenomenal and made our breakfast a tier one experience. Ingredients are incredibly fresh and masterfully put together. Reservations are key and recommended.

How much should i expect to spend if i go w a group of 6?

Hard to say- I was by myself and went all out and spent almost $200. All depends in how much you drink and what is ordered

How likely is it that there will be 2 open seats at the bar/lounge on a random Saturday around 8pm?

The staff is very accommodating and my husband and I have popped in randomly and been able to get seated at or near the lower bar (down the steps toward the windows). The host will try to accommodate you.

Whats the difference between the high top communal table and the standard main dining area?

Hi! The high top tables are on the side of JGSkyHigh where the bar is, as the name suggests they are communal so you'll be sitting and eating with strangers. There are fewer of these tables than the standard dining tables.…

Which has the more stunning views sunrise or sunset? I have the option to go for either one but just wanted the community input (:

I would definitely go for sunset!! I saw the most beautiful view before sunset, sun setting, and the romantic night view :) 3 views during dinner time was so worth it!

Hello did kid allowed in the restaurant or not?

    Yes children are allowed!

Any favorite/ recommended dishes I should get when I go there?

Honestly every dish we had was very tasty!

Can we just go to the bar or does that require reservations?

We were told you can just go but if it is busy then it might be a wasted trip so I would recommend calling ahead.

    Do you need a reservation?

    Nope!

We each opted to get one drink and no food. If you want to get the wind knocked out of you after one drink, this is your spot. The drinks were STRONG. I ordered the Market Street Muse and I could barely taste the limoncello. The vodka and basil were the most prominent flavors. I was feeling good. I'm rating this establishment four stars because the drinks on The Philadelphia Cocktail Trail were essentially existing drinks they had on their current menu but with different names. Same ingredients. I was hoping to see something new or related to America's 250th. Overall, though, the space was very calm and clean and I enjoyed being there. All the menu items sounded great, too. I'll have to pop in here for a bite to eat next time.

The calamari was perfectly crisp and came with the unexpected bonus of onion rings, which were ever-so-lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. And once again, the sauces were superb. The boys shared a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger, and yes, I stole a bite--and yes, to no one's surprise, it was amazing. The food that I had at this restaurant and the entire dining experience has got to be the best I've ever had in Philly. It's funny how many times I passed this place and never even noticed. It's semi in the cut, especially if you're only ever driving past, like I usually am. This restaurant is farm to table dining, which I absolutely love. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I prefer & appreciate fresh food. The menu runs on seasonal basis (which is the best way to eat) and they source from local farms both in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area! I simply could not decide what I wanted to eat since the appetizers, entrees and sides all looked so yummy. During this dine in I didn't get any appetizers (which is ironic actually) but I ordered the branzino that came with fried cauliflower and white bean purée, the slow braised spiced lamb bolognese, and the cornbread. The lamb bolognese was absolutely delicious. This was one of the things where the photo of the food matches EXACTLY how delicious you think it would be. I am not someone who generally opts for pasta at a restaurant (cuz ehhh boring) but it was delicious and the pasta is made fresh daily (my partner ordered this dish) and I will need to make my way to have it all for myself (soon)! The branzino. Fish is a scary one for me to order because I have been let down to many times. I make a post semi recently about the awful branzino I had at "Cry baby pasta" so I was nervous to see how well this played out (if at all). The dish was great! There's this caper salad that tasted just like chimichurri that paired amazingly well with the fish, there were slices of both orange and grapefruit on the dish, and the white beans and cauliflower together were great! Everything on the dish was extremely flavorful, fresh and paired well together. I ordered a gimlet or as it's called on the menu "Sicilian" which is a gin based drink that I had just heard of for the first time a few days prior and I was doing some research and saw that the drink should pair well with the dish. I was doing my own food and drink pairing if you will! When I went to order the server even said it would pair well together, she really knew her stuff! The cornbread was okay- I am a huge fan of cornbread and this one just wasn't my fav. It also was semi rough around the edges. It wasn't bad at all, I've just had much much better tender & softer cornbreads which are my preference. In terms of costing, which I generally don't speak much about in my reviews- for a farm to table dining experience I thought the cost was good! Usually, farm to table prices are quite expensive and experiences you wanna put aside for a "special occasion". I'm really glad I stumbled upon a farm to table restaurant, with a seasonal menu that was affordable- making me feel that I can indulge more frequently than compared to others. I really look forward to trying other items on the menu as everything really was up to my speed. The dessert menu also featured seasonal items but, I decided to close my eyes and be a good girl when it came to desert this day and didn't really pay attention, but I would love to indulge my next time around. Our server was also great! It's a bummer that I didn't catch her name. The hospitality was amazing! From both our server, the manager and all others we spoke to during our visit. My partner recently read "Unreasonable Hospitality" and now every dining experience is met with our internal agenda and standards now due to this book of how things should be and the way we wanna "feel" while dining. I mean, cmon, how many times have you been out to eat, paid your hard earned money and felt awful afterwards due to how you've been treated? (Or ignored). Solid spot! I would recommend~

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I've had. We had a 7 PM reservation and arrived at 7:15 PM. I acknowledge that we were late and apologized to the host. However, we arrived within the stated grace period. When we checked in, the hostess explained that because we arrived later within the grace period, our 90-minute seating window would still end based on the original reservation time. We acknowledged that and had absolutely no issue with it. What made the experience uncomfortable was how aggressively we were reminded about the time throughout the entire meal. We were reminded at least 5-6 separate times how much time we had left. Comments like "just so you know you have 25 minutes left" and "our next party is coming in 5-10 minutes" made it feel like staff was actively trying to rush us out before our reservation time had even ended. Mind you, we already understood the policy. One reminder would have been enough. Instead, it completely changed the energy of the evening and made us feel unwelcome and pressured to leave. We had originally planned to stay through our reservation and then move to the bar for the live music afterward, but after being repeatedly rushed, we decided to leave entirely and spend the rest of the night elsewhere. The most disappointing part was the interaction with the manager, Eric. Rather than listening or showing any understanding, he immediately became defensive and aggressive. He repeatedly insisted we were "15-20 minutes late," which was simply not true -- we arrived during the stated grace period. The issue was never the policy itself. It was the way we were treated throughout the night. It's unfortunate because this has genuinely been one of my favorite spots in Philly, and I've recommended it to multiple people. But this experience left a really bad impression, especially when bringing guests from out of town.

They were crowded but quick! Hubby and enjoyed our food (pictured) and would certainly visit again. I highly recommend this spot for great late night eats.

There are many tables, making it good for groups, but the interior is pretty bare. The wall is adorned with whimsical fox and chicken imagery, referencing the Hatch and Coop name. As of 05/2025, they supposedly offer 10% off your order by showing your SEPTA card. But, I'd confirm this offer before ordering to ensure it's honored. When I was there in the early morning, the cook (who also takes orders) didn't recognize the deal and didn't know how to punch it in. So, it was a bit of a letdown we couldn't redeem the deal, but we still wanted to try the sandwiches after hearing great things about them. I ordered The Hatch and Coop Sandwich (egg, cheese, chicken) on a round roll at the kiosk. You can customize your bread, egg (fried or scrambled), and cheese (provolone, american, or cheddar). The sandwiches come without any sauce unless you order sauce (extra $$) on the side. I highly recommend the Hatch Sauce- a typical mayo sauce with a little spice. I found The Hatch and Coop Sandwich to be just pretty good but I wish it had more heft to it. The chicken was juicy and well cooked, but I wish there was more. The cheese did the cheesing and coated the chicken, but the sandwich had far too many onions for my liking. With the Hatch Sauce, I felt the sandwich was tied together but it was a little odd to me the sandwich doesn't have sauce on its own. I'm giving Hatch and Coop the benefit of the doubt since it was so early in the morning, but I found my sandwich to be just OK. However, I will be back to try the fried chicken sandwiches, which I've heard rave reviews for.
