Jean-George rooftop bar/restaurant atop the Four Seasons in Philly. Lots of windows and mirrors making it look very spacious. There was a live band playing that day which made it a little extra special. Credit card deposit to make the reservation for a prix fixe brunch. Service is kind of slow. The food was delicious. Avocado toast, the warm Brie with pita, the lobster risotto were all highly recommendable. Desert is included and when you go down the stairs to the lower level, the bar is setup with a massive spread of dessert bites. Delicious. Great place to go for special occasions or to impress a date! Day time views of Philly aren't that amazing but it must be gorgeous at night.

I just love getting breakfast here. Super good Benedict great coffee and fast friendly service. Really easy to get a table at 7am. Super fun elevator ride The view doesn't suck either. ;-)

Skyhigh is certainly a spot for the views, vibes, and ambience. It wasn't really on my radar, but I got drinks and dinner with a friend who suggested it, so of course, I was down. Even the elevator ride up was an experience, fun to see the city get smaller and smaller as you ascend. We had made reservations so were easily seated, but it was a weekday and early in the evening, so I don't anticipate we would have waited long. The restaurant is surrounded by glass, allowing you to get cool views of the city. With that comes a ton of natural light, which they matched with greenery and plants. The seats were bougie and felt lounge-like, all adding to the experience. Definitely a trendy spot and presumably popular with the social media folk. Service was solid, with our server checking in on us appropriately but not overwhelmingly so. I started off the evening with a glass of wine, pleased at their robust selection. My friend opted for a cocktail, which he enjoyed! We split all our food, ordering the seasonal salad with peas, avocado, and cheese, burrata with figs, a seasonal pizza, and roasted cauliflower with couscous. My standout dish was the burrata, nicely paired with the fall figs and some honey. The accompanying sourdough was a great vehicle for it. I was underwhelmed by the pizza, especially since Philadelphia does pizza so well at other spots. Nothing wrong with it, just not the best slice I've had in the city. The cauliflower was surprisingly filling, very meaty and with nice warming spices. The couscous it sat atop was very fluffy and a nice pairing too. The salad had nice fresh flavors and was a nice light touch to the rest of the meal. I particularly liked the shaved cheese on top of it! None of the dishes were that inventive or unique, and the menu was a little all over the place (no standout theme cuisine), which is fine. The meal was solid, but again, not really the place to go for the best meal of your life (in my opinion). Prices are on the higher end for the city, but of course, you're paying for the experience. I'm glad I got to experience Skyhigh, and it made for a nice spot to catch up with a friend while enjoying a meal and drinks. I probably won't visit Skyhigh on a date night, but I'd be open to going again for apps and drinks with a group of friends or visitors who want a fun Philadelphia viewing experience!

Came here for dinner with my husband for one last nice date night before going in to have a baby. The ride up here on the elevator is cool. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. However, our seat gave us no view and was nowhere near the window. I thought the whole point of coming here was for the view. Service started out great. For appetizers, we ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and the calamari. The cheesesteak egg rolls were nothing special for the price ($21) and two tiny pieces. Philadium has better cheesesteak egg rolls for less than half the price. The calamari was really good and probably best thing of the night. For entrees, we ordered the fried chicken and rigatoni with meatballs. The fried chicken was pretty good, not anything amazing but we enjoyed it. The rigatoni with meatballs was disgusting. Seriously tasted like something you'd buy from the freezer section at the grocery store. As the night went on, service became pretty non existent. But, we were determined to get dessert so we waited. The desserts were actually really good, apple pie Tartlette and chocolate cake. So overall, if you are coming here I'd stick to the appetizers and desserts. But overall, if I had to pick a word to describe our experience here I'd say MID. It's clear people overlook the mediocre food and come for the view. But, we didn't even get a good view so it felt like a ripoff. I can't say I'd recommend coming here, I've had so many better meals for the money we spent.

This place is a spot. Located in the heart of Philadelphia inside the Four Seasons Hotel, it sits on the 60th floor with absolutely stunning views. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the service is truly top-notch. From check-in to our waiter, everything was seamless. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The food was very good--we went for lunch, and I loved that brunch items were still available. There's also a large bar area, making it a great place to stop in just for drinks and the views. I can't wait to come back again!

Been dying to try this place and after two failed attempts, it finally happened. We got seats at the bar with little wait midday. Mehdi made me a delicious espresso martini. Then I had a spritz. They set out some bar snacks which complimented the cocktails. Perfect place to stop before dinner.

This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. The view alone made this a 10/10. I got to celebrate my birthday here and every single thing we ate was so so good! The salmon rice cracker was especially good. The staff was also so lovely and gave us complimentary desserts! While there are items on the menu that are pricier, they also have a lot of more reasonable items like the pizza and burger! So don't be afraid to come here, it is worth it! And try to come right before the sun sets- you won't be disappointed!

Date night came correct. I loved this place! Sooo pretty, coolest elevator ride soooo high up that speaks to its name, and the Christmas decorations were stunning inside! We got such lovely photos. Service was wonderful. I couldn't even drink more than a couple sips of the espresso martini I ordered for him to try. Still not on the level of the one I first had in Toronto but cute Christmas tree etched on top! I have to convince him to stay at this hotel now! My first time experiencing Philly and this is a staple for sure. Go, enjoy!!!

We visited Sky High at night, and the experience was incredible from start to finish. The service stood out immediately--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Our server checked in often enough to make sure we had everything we needed, but still let us enjoy the atmosphere. And *what* an atmosphere. The nighttime view of downtown Philly is absolutely stunning--floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the city lights, making it the perfect spot for a special night out or just a memorable treat. We finished with their apple pie, and it was one of the highlights of the evening. Buttery, warm, and beautifully balanced--and if you go, do yourself a favor and add an extra scoop of ice cream. It takes the whole thing over the top. Highly recommend Sky High for great service, incredible views, and a dessert you won't forget.

This place was really above and beyond. Had breakfast here. Aside from the majestic views, the sound of the indoor waterfall, it is the service which brings this all together. Staff is incredibly apt at the mastery of service. Joey was phenomenal and made our breakfast a tier one experience. Ingredients are incredibly fresh and masterfully put together. Reservations are key and recommended.

Came here to celebrate my birthday this year and we are so glad we did! I was here once before for drinks and my boyfriend was never here. We were seated at a window and I was extra happy about that! The views of our beautiful city are wonderful everywhere we looked! Our view at dinner was of south Philadelphia: liberty place, the Delaware River, stadiums, etc. The service was impeccable! Matt waited on us and he was wonderful! Talked to us, found out what we were celebrating, provided his knowledge of whatever we were eating or drinking. Top notch! Can't wait to go back to celebrate something else!

Very cool venue high above the city. Nice views if it's not cloudy. You will not be rushed and can have a relaxing experience. For me the food was only ok. The Baratta with bread was a good appetizer. I am told the calamari was very good. The wagu cheesesteak spring roll was only ok. Personally I think it a gimmick. Not enough wagu to enjoy then treat it like cheap meat and cover it with cheese. It was fine but not great. The tenderloin was good, I did not appreciate the sweet pea mousse. It was decided that the ragu was only ok. Bland flavor and the pasta was undercooked.

Skyhigh is a great place to celebrate when you feel like having a view "over" William Penn. Luckily, we were blessed with clear skies and two birthdays. We got the calamari and the kale salad for starters - both good. Felt a bit rushed as our server "Erica," asked us for apps and entrees to be ordered at one time. . . hmmm? We could see that the bar area is a popular spot for after work cocktails. They offer a range of wines from $25 to much, much, more per glass. My fried chicken was perfect. The Black Seabass was tender, skin not for everyone. The bone in Ribeye (for 2) could feed a small family. The menu at Skyhigh could satisfy just about any palate. The almost 360 degree view is astounding and tough to top - pun intended.

How much should i expect to spend if i go w a group of 6?

Hard to say- I was by myself and went all out and spent almost $200. All depends in how much you drink and what is ordered

How likely is it that there will be 2 open seats at the bar/lounge on a random Saturday around 8pm?

The staff is very accommodating and my husband and I have popped in randomly and been able to get seated at or near the lower bar (down the steps toward the windows). The host will try to accommodate you.

Whats the difference between the high top communal table and the standard main dining area?

Hi! The high top tables are on the side of JGSkyHigh where the bar is, as the name suggests they are communal so you'll be sitting and eating with strangers. There are fewer of these tables than the standard dining tables.… Read more

Which has the more stunning views sunrise or sunset? I have the option to go for either one but just wanted the community input (:

I would definitely go for sunset!! I saw the most beautiful view before sunset, sun setting, and the romantic night view :) 3 views during dinner time was so worth it!

Hello did kid allowed in the restaurant or not?

    Yes children are allowed!

Any favorite/ recommended dishes I should get when I go there?

Honestly every dish we had was very tasty!

Can we just go to the bar or does that require reservations?

We were told you can just go but if it is busy then it might be a wasted trip so I would recommend calling ahead.

    Do you need a reservation?

    Nope!

But, on…read morethe multi-festival Saturday, second of May in the year 2026, I can definitively say that I've now tried the little seafood spot on one of our favorite corners, that we're almost always just passing by to get to Time. First, the friendly, informative service: in an oyster bar with a rotating fresh selection, that's an underrated must. We were seated outside, given a rundown of the menu and "as it's ready" flow of the kitchen. We got a pair of cocktails, the Melonata and a Tequila Julep. I think the Melonata might be my new summer favorite. It looks like Ecto Cooler but doesn't give a distinct feeling of growing diabetes while drinking it. In grown up terms, it was well balanced, not too sour, not too sweet, and deeply herbal, fruity, and refreshing at the same time. The Tequila Julep was a Mint Julep with tequila instead of bourbon. It was good, though it's hard to mess that set of ingredients up. We got a selection of oysters and a shooter. Every oyster was distinct and different. Felt like there were no "different on the menu but same in flavor profile" that you can sometimes run into. This implies it's well curated. I have no idea, because I'm not an expert fishmonger, nor do I know whether that term specifically applies here - case in point. Anyway, I got 2 from Washington State, and another from Cape May. The first WA was large, buttery, and had the satisfying chew of young coconut flesh. Semi sweet. The second was smaller, sharper, and briny as hell - tasted of the ocean. And finally, the Cape May was mild and fresh, a good balance between the two others. It was a perfect little tasting menu that I'd created by just ordering the first three guys off the list. Not sure what selection came with the shooter, but the concoction in the shot glass shooter was bright green and pickly. Glad I got it as a contrast to the classics with what I assumed was red wine vinegar. Besides that, we snacked on salmon avocado toast with the Calabrian Chili Oil. It was also very, very good. Sometimes things are better than the sum of their parts. This is true here, but it's also worth noting that the individual parts - the bread, the smoked salmon, the chili oil, the avocado, the shaved onions - were excellent in their own right. We will be back for sure.

We celebrated my birthday there and I was a bit shocked when they didn't offer to comp a dessert, since most steakhouses usually do, but I didn't mind as it's not expected. Our second visit didn't live up to our first time experience. The steak we ordered was so raw that it was inedible. Luckily, we got 2 big entrees so we were able to enjoy one and take the steak to go and cook it a bit more to enjoy for dinner the day after. This third visit REALLY threw us off. First, we waited over 30 minutes to be seated. When we were finally seated, we were seated in what is likely the most uncomfortable seat in the restaurant. You would think if you just made someone wait 30 minutes past their reservation, you'd maybe give them the bigger table that's available to get them back in your good graces. I will say most of the food was very good. We ordered the crab and artichoke appetizer which was good but not great, and for dinner we ordered the duck which was cooked perfectly and the ribeye which was also cooked well. I had mentioned it was my birthday at the beginning of the meal. Since I didn't receive anything with my last birthday experience, I had no expectations of a comped dessert. That was until the young lady at the table next to us received a comped baked Alaska for her birthday. When it was my turn for the waiter to offer a dessert we were asked if we wanted to order anything. We said no and asked for the check. When they brought us the check, they finally remembered we had been delayed half an hour and that's when they offered a comped dessert. Why is it that someone else got a free dessert for their birthday and not me? If you're going to offer that to one you should offer to all. Other than that, the service overall was very lacking. We were checked in on 3 times during the night whereas the table next to us received constant check ins. Not sure what that was about since we had the same waiter. We were also seated and ordered before the table next to us and they received everything before us. Appetizer, dinner, dessert and check. Not sure why this happened but after tonight's disappointing experience and overall food inconsistency I have decided not to dine here anymore. More for tonight's service than anything else. Disappointing and overhyped.
