What a really nice place to stop on a very chilly day. Matt greeted me and also turned out to be my server. He was very attentive and prompt. My food came out perfectly prepared. I just love skyline every time. I am in Ohio. I sure do miss not having this in Florida. The skyline chili Coney dog was sheer perfection along with my delicious and yummy skyline chili five way. I really liked how management interacted with crew. They treated them with respect and we're very nice too. People seem to really enjoy working here. That always makes me happy to see people enjoying their place of employment. :-) Make sure when you come in here take your time and enjoy your skyline. Because it is skyline time. :-)

Chilito

The one in Hilliard reopened recently so I stopped by after work. Two chilitos cost more than two coneys, which I'd be fine with if they actually had any filling. Very disappointed that I had to tear away 3/4 of the tortilla to not have the whole thing dry and tasteless.

This is my favorite Skyline location in the Columbus area. First of all, Skyline is my all-time favorite food. I could eat it everyday. I always get cheese coneys and sweet tea. I come to this location often because it is located near my work. The staff are absolutely fantastic! One of my favorite servers is Shane because he is really on top of his game and makes sure we always have a great experience. I have never had a bad experience at this Skyline and I visit at least once a month and have for about the past five years.

Funnel fries with no powder honestly as we asked for extra and a regular fry portion.

So usually I get everything up to par from this place but today at 7:52pm I asked for funnel fries along with the rest of my order and they barely put anything in there as well as there was an actual fry portion in my container. Hopefully this can get corrected as I do not want to look for another location to eat take out at.

When in Columbus, eat like the Buckeyes. You have to know what you're getting into when visiting skyline chili for the first time. It's a fast food restaurant complete with drive-thru that is glorified by locals and questioned by out-of-towners. I knew I had to try a coney and chili during my time in Ohio so I prepared myself all day and enjoyed the experience. It's spaghetti. It's chili. It's cheese. And free oyster crackers with hot sauce to dollop on. And it was great. This wasn't just a novelty stop, I would go back again if ever back in the area, but I warn this isn't for everyone. If you can't get over spaghetti with chili on top don't bother showing up.

Let me preface by saying I love skyline chili! As a former Cincinnatian, living a mile from skyline is a dream come true! I'll admit, I probably get food from here once a week or two and it always tastes great. The employees are always super polite! The inside is usually very well maintained. Most of the time, you can get your food pretty quickly. Only knocking a star because sometimes they forget napkins and skimp on the cheese (which is the best part!!)

4 way Mac

I have always liked Skyline. This was the first time trying the 5-way Mac but turned out to be a 4-way because they forgot to give me the onions. I highly recommend the Mac. It is a limited time only item and I think I prefer this over the 5-way spaghetti. The staff when I called was really nice and apologetic for missing the onions and said they would mail a gift card.

I was declined entry because I refused to use hand sanitizer. This is why I declined.

I tried to dine in at your East Broad St location in Columbus, Ohio on 7.19.20 at approximately 530pm. Even though the local mandate only specifies that a face covering must be worn, I was asked to use hand sanitizer by who I assume is the manager. I politely responded that I "would rather not". I was then told that I wouldn't be able to come in unless I did. My hands are dried out and cracked from so much hand washing and use of hand sanitizer that I have a visibly open wound on one finger tip, so I left and went to a different restaurant to enjoy my evening. I eat out every night all over Columbus. I've never once been asked to use hand sanitizer, let alone been refused entry for declining. I know the restaurant industry is taking a huge hit. Having your workers act like Gestapo isn't a very good way of bringing in customers. People are fed up and worn out with all this bullshit. Having one more hoop to jump through is the last thing that's needed, especially when people who were regular customers try to enjoy themselves.

Yum!

Every time I come here the service is fast and friendly. This location got me to like Skyline again after many years of avoiding it.

I'd heard such good things about Popeyes over the years, so when I saw the $6 Big Box deal I…read moredecided it was time to give it a try. I never throw away fast food. Well, not until today that is. It was just horrible! The "chicken breast" was rubbery and did not taste or chew like chicken. Even the breading was tasteless (and hard). And, how do you mess up fries? The way to make fries is to peel and cut a potato and drop it into pure peanut oil. How hard can that be?! This was undoubtedly pre-frozen, rolled in a slew of chemicals, and fried in cheap seed oil. Even the coleslaw lacked taste. I literally threw over half of my entree in the garbage, that's how bad it was. Even the cat wouldn't eat it. I will never buy from Popeyes again. Corporations keep finding new ways to replace food with not-food. What we're eating in today's world isn't even food anymore. Sadly, young people don't know the difference -- but we older folks remember what actual food looked and tasted like, and this isn't it! (post script: I would like to add that the problem has nothing to do with this location, which is clean and has great service and people. The quality of Popeye's food and ingredients depends on corporate decisions and their food sources).
