Take miralax with you. You'll thank me later.... Don't put ketchup on the small hot dogs or chili dogs because you might offend someone. They don't eat their chili dogs with ketchup in Ohio. Oh yeah, they've got plenty of seating and the menu is solely of chili dogs with not much else for exceptions. Vegetarians go elsewhere.

Chili dogs and 3-ways. My happy place.

This is one of my two go-to spots in Dayton (Marion's Pizza) being the other. It's chili dogs and three-ways (spaghetti, chili and shredded cheddar). It's not complicated. But it's good. It hits the spot. A must-do in Dayton.

A friend of mine who is native to Dayton said the coney was a MUST HAVE! I tried it and really liked it! The chili is more of a sauce, but as good flavor and the bun was really soft. Very unique hotdog but pretty good!

My first experience with 3 way chili! This place was great. Great staff too. I don't know why it had such bad reviews prior.

I recently ordered delivery from this Culver's restaurant…read more I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Value Basket which comes with a drink and side. I ordered the onion rings as a side which is about a dollar up charge. I also ordered a single patty ButterBurger with cheese. Delivery was really quick. The Mushroom and Swiss burger came in its own box. Both burgers were very good. They were seasoned really well, fried good and quite appetizing. The hamburger bun is a little thicker than most burger joints. The onion rings were very good, fried perfectly and not overtly greasy. The onion rings come with your choice of sauce. I chose Culver's signature sauce which is a white sauce, mildly spicy, and has a pickle taste in my opinion. I highly recommend. Food is a little more than most fast food places, but everything was packaged carefully and it appears they take pride in the food that they serve.

The food was great,as normal. I tried the cod sandwich, which was delicious & piping hot. Only…read morecomplaint about it is at looking at the ingredients online, it does have canola and/or soybean oil in the breading AND that it's fried in. The cashier was kinda pushy with the sauces. I asked if any sauces came with meals for free and she said no. All sauces are at least 35 cents. That does irritate me. Two things: 1st, that the menu doesn't list prices of sauces (at least list a price range instead of "sauces may have a fee") and 2nd, that the cashiers push them for every meal, every person. I wrote a great review last time we were here, but noticed another reviewer complained about being charged for the dips/sauces. I don't remember feeling pushed to order sauce the previous time, and I don't use much dip or sauce with my meals. But other fast-food restaurants automatically include dip/sauce with certain items like onion rings, so that is why I asked about a different sauce than the cashier was pushing- for my onion rings. But because of the extra cost, I chose not to order any sauce. It probably wouldn't have bothered me as much if I hadn't noticed how the cashier girl kept pushing the boom boom sauce to every single person in our party, but without mentioning the extra fee. With budgets getting tighter & tighter, we're having to be more careful with our money. Thirty-five cents (or more) may not seem like much, but If everyone in the family orders 1-2 sauces, it can (and has in the past) add several dollars to your bill that you weren't expecting. We've been eating out a LOT because of a renovation we're working on. We've eaten at this Culver's quite a few times and until yesterday, all the cashiers have been pleasant, helpful & cheerful. I can't say yesterday's cashier wasn't pleasant, but it felt forced. Like she wasn't truly a pleasant cheerful person or really didn't want to be there. Most other cashiers in the past have been extremely friendly & helpful & seem genuine. Anyway, between the extra, hidden costs of sauces for your meal, the overall cost of eating out (anywhere; not just here) and looking at the ingredients lists online and (not surprisingly) finding MANY MANY food products containing and/or being fried in soybean and canola oils, we will be making eating out a rare thing ASAP- for out budget and our health! But the food does taste good. And I was pleasantly surprised to see ACTUAL BUTTER. Butter in the buns and if you get a butter packet, it's actually butter- not margarine or a blend with crappy oils. So that's a positive.

I ordered the Cainiac Combo with a large Hi-C fruit punch drink. This combination meal comes with five chicken fingers, curly fries, a side of coleslaw, and a slice of Texas toast. The chicken fingers are breaded really well, juicy, and really good tasting. Two containers of Cane's sauce were included. The dipping sauce is somewhat spicy but there isn't really a kick The coleslaw was pretty good and creamy. The Texas toast was good as well. I didn't care for the krinkle fries. They seemed cold not very flavorful. I wish Cane's had other sides to choose from like green beans or mashed potatoes and gravy. I give this establishment 4 stars because the chicken fingers were good but I cannot recommend the fries. They are hard, lack flavor, and were delivered cold. I would go for the chicken fingers but not the fries. The Cainiac Combo with five chicken fingers is a lot of food.

Once the seating area got under control they right away came out to switch out trash and start cleaning. Kudos to the whole team

They did mention if we got food it would take 45 minutes... which I was not willing to wait. However, it was packed, lots of people. As it was my first time I didn't not know you had to order in your car or eat at the "bar" on the stools to be served. Which was fine, I just didn't know before coming. It is a cash only so when you come make sure you have that or pay via Venmo. It look like a classic place that people bring their families too enjoy a beautiful day at! Five cars came in after I did and got service. In fact they pulled in parked under the canopy placed their order and pull back to the back row. I got tired of waiting so I place my to go order. Just after I got done ordering here comes a car hop. She asked if I needed anything I told her I placed a online order. Didn't ask my name or anything like that. So the online order app shows status three bars 1 preparing next cooking the third I guess ready. I sent a message of Facebook letting them know to have the car hops do a better job watching the back row. It said my food would be ready in 30 minutes being as busy as they are I figured as much. So at 20 minutes I guess it was done But I didn't know the app still said cooking. So a carhop came out asked me if I was a me. I said yes. Kind of a attitude. Then she goes back and here comes the manger I tell her the same story. I have move out of the area. But still come in once in awhile. But I will be spending money at other places. I was going their since 1979. Even dated a couple carhops. Because I tipped well. Back then I was like 5 dollars
