Unfortunately, this location remains the slowest Skyline of the several I have eaten at over several years. Dined in 4/17/26 with party of four and waited 20 minutes for our food after placing our order (not an exaggeration). Dining room was not crowded. Went through the drive thru 5/23/26 and waited 10 minutes at the window. Car behind us sped off after placing order and getting fed up waiting behind us. We ordered 3 coneys & 2 chili cheese sandwiches and were at the window with little to no customers inside. Drive thru attendant told us no one was making food. They were in the back. That was the cause for delay. Last bit of insult was that these 5 sandwiches had the least amount of chili I've ever seen or eaten. Yeesh. read more

When a place has a reputation as a "local legend" it can be hard to live up to that hype. Our server was very friendly and responsive. As for the food, it was fine, but I'm not sure if it lived up to everything I had heard about it. Alright. If you've ever seen any of my reviews, you know that I go absolutely HAM on some Cincinnati chili. This skyline location is very up and down. Tonight, I went in, and it was one of few bad experiences I've ever had here. The waitresses took about 10mins to even greet us and would laugh and goof off in the kitchen. I love me some oyster crackers, and when mama don't get em in a timely manner, she gets frustrated. The food came out soon after we were greeted, and then we didn't get helped for the rest of our time there. The floor was also covered in cheese and crackers... it just didn't seem very clean or well run. Most of the workers were high schoolers, and you can tell that they're just goofing around with each other and laughing rather than doing their jobs. I don't know. If you are on a specific diet, e.g., vegetarian, it's best to avoid the place. They do have vegetarian options, but you never get what you request. It's been this way for 20+ years. Big fan of Skyline Chili Loveland location has gotten cheap in their portions even though prices have gone up. Large 3 way is the size of a regular. If you are going to jack the prices up at least give the customer what they ordered and paid for. read more

Sometimes they are stingy on the hot sauce but honestly this place is the old reliable, usually the order is almost entirely correct and it always taste delicious so I'm not complaining. We came her before my oldest boys Talent Show and we were in a hurry the day we visited. In retrospect I wish we had gone to another location b/c we have had issues in the past. Our waitress was nice but seemed to be tasked with other duties. I ordered the Green Way since it was Saint Patricks day and a Chilito. My wife got a small 3 way and a order of chili cheese fries. It took over ten minutes to get our food. I am not sure what happened but at one point our server was headed out with what looked like part of our food but returned to the kitchen area. Finally time to grab dinner at 8:45pm tonight. Just a trip through the drive-thru and what an unexpected, hope-for-mankind-restored moment! The young man working the window, Brody, was what every restaurant hopes to have on staff. He greeted me quickly via speaker with a positive, upbeat voice. I could tell he was wearing his facemask but was still able to understand him. He "upsold me" and when I said, "Good job on the upselling!", he replied,"Thank you! I take pride in my job." He repeated my order, correctly, and although not a complicated meal, completed fulfillment perfectly. I told him at the window, "I'm posting a review and you're getting 5 stars!!" He was genuinely surprised and grateful. I'm a woman of my word so here's my post. I wish everyone could exude this positivity in their job. I'll be back. :) read more

First let me preface this by saying that I'm a native Cincinnatian and I've grown up on Skyline. This location is not the one I usually frequent, but it's close to my work so I do hit it from time to time. The restaurant is clean and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is fantastic, but that's not a surprise. Skyline has really good quality control over their restaurants, I've been to a bunch and very rarely had a bad experience. At the Loveland Skyline they have a handful of tvs usually playing ESPN or something that will be pleasing to most people. However, a few weeks ago, during one of the recent snowstorms I braved the white death and went to work and subsequently to Skyline for lunch. Usually during lunch time the place is bustling with activity. On this day it appeared that I was the only fool willing to drive in the snow to get a Cincy chili fix. The place was nearly deserted with the exception of a few employees. But... I was rewarded for my persistence in the pursuit of a 3-way (get your mind outta the gutter!). On the tv was not the usual Sportscenter, but STAR WARS! There's nothing quite like a snowy lunch break spent over a plate of chili and The Empire Strikes Back. Like it, I do. read more

Since they have been back open I've noticed a couple things. 2 weeks ago I went at 730 on a weeknight and there was a huge line at the drive thru and I ended up leaving after 15 min and no cars moving. Last night o got there at 1050pm. Open until 11pm. Drive thru was closed and no one inside. I went to taco bell both times after. Not happy with this new crew. I went to this Skyline over the weekend and I was in the drive through for about 15 minutes! There was only 3 cars there!!! Counting mine! This was kind of an issue because I got my coneys and they were all melted and soggy from being in the black foam box. (You coney fans know what I'm talking about!) Nothing worse than the melted cheese all over your bun which absorbed all the liquid of the chili. Then the water that I got was pink so I knew the taste was gonna be a little weird. The plus side is that they did get my order right, but it was super simple. I really don't know what took them so long and the girl was nice but didn't even acknowledge the wait and that I could have dinned in faster than I could have done that drive threw. read more

As a native Cincinnatian, I've always loved Skyline Chili. This particular locations is one of my favorites. I've always received great service both at the drive-thru and inside the restaurant. The food quality is consistently good. I've never had a cold meal, the taste is always great, and the foods they use always taste fresh (Yay for no stale hotdog buns!) One of the things that bother me about many restaurants of this type is that one day the food may be great, but if you ordered the same thing next week it would taste completely different, and I've never experienced that at the Loveland location. The only thing holding my back from a 5 star rating is I wish they would stay open later. They normally close around 10 or 11pm, and sometimes in the summer they'll extend that by one hour, but Skyline is such a great late-night food! I'd love it if they were even open until 1am. read more

Always great food and service. We have been getting takeout due to the pandemic and can always count on Skyline for a great break from cooking at home! Our favorites are cheese coneys, 3-ways, chilitos, vegetarian deluxe burritos, and 3-way baked potatoes. My kids love that their meal comes with dessert. read more

This was my first time eating at this particular location. When I first walked in I was shocked by how much food covered the restaurant floor. I worked at Skyline throughout high school so I thought maybe they had a busy lunch rush, it was the weekend. Cheese and crackers can be messy, especially with little kids. After several minutes waiting at a table our waitress took our order. They were out of clean cracker bowls and served our crackers in to-go cups. Not a big deal. She came back with our drinks, forgot to leave straws. Also not a big deal. BUT.. Our food took almost 30 minutes to be served to us. The waitress never came back to check in or give us straws. Our food sat -ready to be served to us- on the counter for 10 of the almost 30 minutes, while our waitress took a break and ate food at the bar. There was plenty of workers, they were not short staffed. On top of the long wait and horrible service, the food was not good. Probably because it took ten minutes for anyone to bring it to our table. Few other notable things. - the staff cooking the food were not wearing hair nets or hats, nor were they wearing gloves (I kept watching a woman scratch her face and nose then touch the food) - my waitress in particular had really long hair, worn down, touching the serving tray as she carried out our food -Oh, somebody finally came out to sweep up all the food off the floor... 2 feet away from us.. while we were eating.. -lastly, we stood at the register waiting to pay for ten minutes as six women ignored us behind the counter.
