    Coney and Greek salad
    Jessica M.

This was my first time at Skyline. You walk in and seat your self. It was actually pretty busy at lunch time on a Tuesday. Our waitress was very nice. I got a Coney with a Greek salad. The chili is unique will say. It's on the sweet side. My salad was a nice balance to the Coney though. My sister in law got the chili cheese fries with habanero cheese and those were good. I think the fries and the habanero cheese masked the sweetness of the chili.

I love when skylines are themed to the neighborhood that they're located in, and this one definitely appeals to the upscale Wyoming neighborhood. I love coming here in the winter especially, as the fireplace is nice and warm and toasty within a 3 table radius. The ones farthest from it near the windows are a bit chilly, be warned. The staff here is nice enough. Not the quickest, but still good on the service comparably. The place can get a touch loud when its full, and the waitresses will change the tvs to a game that the majority of people want to see if there is one going on while you're there. I just love how quaint it looks inside!

The chili is magical, but beware the creepers.

This is excellent Skyline Chili location. Servers are fast, courteous, and efficient. As a heavy drinker (at least of Mountain Dew), they managed to refill my cup about 4 times before our order arrived. And considering that upon placing the order, our meals' party was ready in about 5 minutes, that's saying something. Order accuracy was spot-on. I ordered a large five-way with habanero cheese. Looked flawless, tasted delicious. Premises are always clean. Tip for consumption: start eating from one of the small ends of the plate and keep going until you hit the other end. Don't twirl the pasta... Cut it with your fork and shovel it in your face. Was also surprised to see that this location has added Andes mints to its traditional York Peppermint Patties lineup at the register.

It's really hard to have a bad skyline experience. A few cheese coneys and everything in the world gets better.

This place has tons of parking which is free. The pricing for mini golf was really good better than anywhere else - unlimited and two different 18-hole courses (I will say the courses itself could use an upgrade - new paint or adding some objects to the course to make the established holes a bit more challenging. We paid 9 dollars per person. The driving range was also pretty cheap for buckets of balls - it would be a fun afternoon to bring the dads for driving range, the kids for mini golf and the moms can eat food and hang or enjoy the range as well. The food looked good, but we did not partake - the drinks were decently well priced - a can of beer 3.50 - a sway was 6 bucks. They have free concerts every now and then at their art installation, which is pretty cool, I also think it's cool how they do 5 buck Mondays. The staff was nice enough, my only complaint is the grass was a little overgrown, so we got ate up with chiggers and skeeters.

I thought they (slaw & banana pudding) were a little pricy for the size, but they were both tasted very fresh and delicous. I bought the slaw to make a slaw dog when I got home, but ended up eating it all up, as is. The banana pudding was absolutely delicious. I was so disappointed when I got home & realize 1/2 of it had spilled into my bag (my fault). For my son's birthday I ordered a large family size banana pudding. It did not disappoint! It was just as delicious as the individual one I had weeks earlier! I would say 3/4 cup would be a serving size. 13 people had some and some had 2nds and the birthday man had 3rds and we still had about a serving or 2 left over (b/c I hid it). I think b/c it was so good we wanted more of it, so depending on your group size & appetite you may want to order more than one or have other desserts on hand to either lure them away from the pudding or to have as back up (that's what I did). I do believe if I would've had another one the other desserts would've gone untouched. Honestly, I did think it was a little pricy for the size, especially since we had another tasty dessert just slightly smaller than the banana pudding size and it was $10. The fact that it was delicious helped, it would've been like adding insult to injury if it would've been pricy and nasty. Certhainly not the case here. Everyone absolutely enjoyed it! Thank you Vonderhaar's. *tip order at least 48hrs in advance, I ordered 24hrs in advance & got lucky. Truly, it's best to call & ask how much notice is needed. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was nice & very helpful. Delicious-Delicious-Delicious stop by & give em a try!

It was a Sunday and we were immediately told that they are Breakfast only on Sunday. I'm not certain if this is every Sunday or just that day, so keep that in mind. The service was fast and friendly. It wasn't very busy when we stopped in so we didn't have to wait on anything. I had ordered the Strawberry Pancakes. Not to be discouraging, but they weren't anything special. The cakes themselves were quite dense and heavy, so they filled you up easily. The strawberries on top were little to be desired. It was more of a strawberry jam that was put on top. Considering that a solid strawberry topping consists of a few minutes of cooking up fresh strawberries, sugar and water, I was disappointed with the topping. It truly is a bare bones diner. Nothing fancy, but that's okay. Good food and good service goes miles above anything else. They've got the service down perfectly. The only other thing that might be a helpful, yet discouraging, comment would be the front desk area. When you walk in, there is a front counter that you pay at. It's very visible and it's the first thing you see when you walk in. You see the counter and a fish tank right behind it. The state of the counter and the fish tank need work. The counter is cluttered and just looks dirty. Now, if this was an office in the back, so be it. My office is sometimes a cluttered mess. But this dusty cluttered mess is right in the front and center of this restaurant. I can't help but think what areas look like that I can't see. The fish tank would be a nice touch of ambiance however it too is pretty dank and dirty looking. If you're going to have it right there where everyone can see, you need to put a little effort into making it presentable. These may sound like harsh points, but they are honest observations. Would I go back? It's not very local to me, so probably not. But, if I was in the area, I would absolutely give Lucy's Diner another shot at lunch. I wasn't blown away during my first visit.
