I had an appointment at 9:30 AM. I went in for a builder gel manicure and basic pedicure with callus remover. Mimi did my builder gel - it was my first time getting this service. Jennifer did my pedicure. They were both very rough and seemed like in a rush, not sure why as I had an appointment and was one of the first clientele in. Mimi nicked and made me bleed twice. I told Jennifer prior to her starting that I did not want a massage. She proceeded to give me one and when I told her I didn't want one she smiled and said most customers want one. She continued to give me a light weird massage after I told her I didn't want one and didn't like it. She was very rough on feet as well. Im also not sure they used clean tools and used files - not very sanitary. I will not be returning. read more

Gel mani and pedi not up to quality most salons would offer. Didn't do my cuticles on my nails the way most salons do (didn't push down and only trimmed barely). Showed us only one option of gel color in a book and I asked if that was all they had and they said yes. Later, I found out there were additional colors. The quality of the paint job is thin, and the photos speak for themselves, very sloppy and uneven. Looks worse than if I did them myself. My sister left and re did her own manicure (photo of her nail). The place was very busy and felt like they were just getting people in and out with little attention to the service they provide. I'm so disappointed today with my experience at this Nail Salon yesterday. I really do not want to leave a poor review. Obviously I wanted to have a wonderful experience and be able to say so. I am one of those people who doesn't get a manicure that often. I had a day off and went to Ventura to spend some time at the ocean and do a couple relaxing treats for myself. In this case, I finally got a manicure and a pedicure. I wanted a simple natural manicure. Unfortunately, it seemed that my technician was sick and at one point, though we had a language barrier I asked her if she was. She said she had allergies, but promptly walked away and put on a mask. If the poor woman is sick, she should not be working closely with people. I found it hard to relax as everything I was asking was not understood. A simple request not to cut my cuticles went ignored. I could get over these issues and I would move on except for today my cuticles are a mess and the nail polish is already peeling off. So I did not get my much needed relaxation time, and I don't even have a decent manicure or pedicure. I'm out the money and the time spent. read more

I got married this past weekend and had our entire bridal party (plus some family) get our nails done here and IT WAS PERFECT! The staff was amazing, they provided Mimosas and cookies and even made a sign with my new last name on it! The vibes were everything! I can't thank them enough! I couldn't recommend them enough. They made what turned into a stressful day, absolutely perfect. I do need to Shoutout Sonny G because I got bad news from my reception Venue and I was on the verge of tears when I sat down with him. I love coming here because the quality of service you get in nails is noticed. When I get my nails done, pedicure or manicure. I can see my cuticles being cleaned up very well, they focus on painting the sides of the nails (which a lot of past tech's always missed out on) and they tend to their customers very well. When I come here I make appointment with Sonny G and his work is outstanding!! I do the bio gel and let me tell you, it's amazing! My natural nails with the bio gel hold extremely well, to where I'll last with my nails for 5-6 weeks! I normally don't like waiting that long because my nails grow so fast but I get super busy and don't have time to go but they hold up so well! Worst experience and this was my first time at this nail shop! I will not be returning here and definitely not recommending this place to anyone. I came here bc my daughter booked an appt for an acrylic full set and my regular nail shop/tech was out all week. I asked for a nail soak off (I still had my old acrylic on), and a manicure with regular polish - milky white with a tint of pink. I sat down and the lady just clipped the acrylic and tore them off, extremely painful. She dipped my natural nails in a bowl of water for less than 2m, she did not ask how I wanted my nails shaped and she made them super square and uneven, then couldn't seem to get the color I wanted. She picked just a milky white so I said no I want more of a milky pink (I showed her a picture of the color), and she said it's either pink or the milky white. So I said ok then the light pink, she painted my nails with a transparent peachy pink and then realized it was gel polish!! I asked for regular polish (I have an appointment on Monday w/my regular nail shop for my acrylic nails), so I want something easy to come off. She apologized and said she didn't know what was wrong with her, and she just started to wipe the gel off with a towel, no actual gel nail polish remover and painted right over it with white, after she put the top coat on she put a drip of lotion on the top of my hand, mind you she had just painted my nails and then said ok you're done. She asked me to move to the waiting seats and of course my nails got messed up bc they were not dry and about 4 of my nails started getting bubbles bc she shook the nail polish too much! I normally get an acrylic at Le's O Nails in Oxnard with Lily and I am always satisfied. This place was extremely crowded, people were leaving because it was a 30-45m wait for just a fill. My daughter's nail text was 50m late, with having an appointment and there were a couple people waiting for 10-20m with already having an appointment and asked repeatedly but the owner what service they were waiting for. They obviously do not care about their customers, everything is so rushed and unprofessional. Worst manicure ever and they are charging me $34 for ripping off my acrylic, shaping my nails square and uneven, painting them with a color I didn't even want and that bubbled, and moving me while my nails were wet so they got messed up read more

I am obsessed with my nails. SonnyG did an amazing job. I showed him a picture and he did exactly that. I asked how much a fill was and he said he thinks it was $50? Well that wasn't the case once it came time to paying. Pedicure by Jennifer was also good. I just got the basic Pedicure. The staff were very friendly but the chatter is a little annoying to be honest. I am not expecting to be in a library but they are literally having continuous conversations across the entire salon and it was multiple staff just chiming in. Overall I had a good experience from check in to the end. The reason for the 3 stars: did it really cost me $75 for a fill? These are my own nails, he didn't even need to fix any nails and he put a heart on 3 fingers on each hand. Not sure if I will be back but I do really love the work he did just disappointed a fill and pedicure cost me $109 not including tip. read more

I get my nails done every three weeks and they never lift and break unless it's my fault for being too rough on them. Kayla's pedicures might just put you too sleep because they're so relaxing!
