Without a doubt, after 60+ years of eating pizza this place compares with the best I've ever had. Born and raised in Waldwick I always felt Kinchley's and Nellie's were the best around but one day I saw the large "PIZZA" sign on the storefront and couldn't resist. When I entered, four guys with aprons on were arguing about soccer's World Cup starting the next day in pure Italian. The odor of marvelous (right off the boat from Ragusa Italy) cheese being prepped and the sauce being stirred in the kitchen I was overwhelmed with hunger. Terrific bunch of guys operate the place and immediately welcome you to their tasty offerings. Seriously, I no longer go any where else and I'm slowly becoming proficient in Italian with their help. These guys have no idea how long it takes to make a simple calzone they tell me 20 minutes and I show up and wait another 20 minutes maybe the woman at the counter had to focus more on the orders than watching her soap operas on the tv next to her, what a shame. read more

Stumbled upon this small pizza place on our way home to NYC. Everyone inside was very nice. I was not expecting much- I am a native New Yorker and major food snob. I was so surprised to find the pizza is delicious. Delicious is actually an understatement. The sauce is incredible and the crust is thin and crispy like a pizza should be. Should be 4 stars because the food is good (well, the pizza, calzones, and apps, not their dinners). Only giving two because for the third time, they screwed up our order. First of all, We're longtime regulars. We've been going to Skyline for more than 5 years ourselves (not including all the times our parents ordered from there). We order the SAME THING every time we go. Calzones, mussels and calamari. The first screw up was a few months ago, when they made our apps but not the calzones. Had to wait twenty minutes, and they never bothered to remake the now cold apps. They never made good on that. The second time, they made the wrong calzone, didn't offer to fix it. Said they would make good, but when they did, they only gave us about $1 more of our offer than we normally get with the coupon the next time we ordered. This time, they gave us the wrong apps. They were rude on the phone, and did deliver the correct ones, but it was the third strike. Portions have gotten smaller too, which is fine, but then adjust your prices to reflect that. So we'll try one of the other pizza places in town for a while. Too bad for Skyline. Perhaps they should teach the girls answering the phone to stop worrying about who they are hooking up with that night (no, not kidding-that was the conversation the last time we picked up and the order was wrong) and just answer the phone correctly. read more

Called in an order for a large pizza at 5:59pm. I was told it would be ready for pickup in 10-15 minutes. I walked in at 6:22 and they can't find my order in the system or on paper. The girl at the register said she remembered the order getting called in (I assume she overheard the guy taking my order). The older guy behind the counter (sounded like who I spoke to on the phone) tells me the pizza isn't ready and I have to wait another 15 minutes (putting it about 40 minutes from when I placed the order). I ask why it's not ready like he said it would be, and the best explanation he could give me was that he didn't know what happened. No offer of money off the bill or a free appetizer for their error. So I walked out. First time ever going there, and I definitely will not be going back. read more

The wings were well baked and not just doused in red hot sauce like most area pizza places. They were a little lacking in flavor though. This pizza shop is solid! This is coming from a Ringwood local. The menu is a little more diverse then your average pizza shop. I would definitely say their margarita pizza stands head and shoulders above the rest. The regular pizza is decent along with the Sicilian slices. Nothing to write home about. The owner is a pleasant man who cooks most of the pizzas! The service when you dine in is pretty solid. One of the times we ordered for pick up they did not even start the order by time we went to go pick it up 20 min later. This drops my score down a notch, but if you are looking for solid jersey pizza, good sandwiches and prompt dine in service give skyline pizza a try. read more

I stumbled across this little pizza restaurant on my way back from apple picking. I didn't want mcdonalds like every one else in the car full of people so I said hey let's go to the pizza place over there. Best decision I have ever made. The staff was so friendly, and the food was one of the best foods I have ever had. I am so jealous of the people of Ringwood that they get to have this food whenever they want. I will be coming back to this place, even if I have to travel an hour and a half to get there. The buffalo chicken pizza is the best I have ever had better than the ones in hoboken and the city. And the chicken parm was amazing also. I really wish I lived closer to this place so I can order food multiple times a week. To the owners and workers of this place you guys are doing a great job!
