The reason for my high star review is quite honestly the HIBACHI FOOD TRUCK WITH THE MANAGER "EDDIE". I truly hope that's is his name because I am a hard working engineer and I just took the Professional Engineering Exam today. My day was hard: the test is 8 hours and I took a year to study for it. Being an engineer is tough and nothing is more meaningful to coming to your home and feeling safe and warm and good inside. My day was hard nonetheless and it was nice to come home to this delicious food from Hibachi food truck and the good vibes of Eddie as well as the trash delivery service (they do charge but it is worth every penny to have valet trash service). Living here is luxury if you are a working professional especially if you are a single living working professional. My life and goals have been so easy because I live here. Honesty hibachi food grill is the best food I've ever had here and it woke me up to the luxury here. I never leave reviews but Eddie and his hard work and his amazing food GOT ME on the hardest day I have ever had. He was full of smiles and good vibes and good energy. His company had such a high standard of service. I'm very rarely impressed but Eddie was such a lovely person, everytime Hibachi is there I'll be there. I'm so blessed and when ever life is hard at least I can fall back on the comfort of my apartment. Love this place and it is worth every penny to live here. I highly recommend this place to single hard working professionals; the rent may be a sturdy high price but it's worth every penny for the comfort and peace. I also need to Give a shout out to the roof top bar; the dude who manages that roof top bar I think his name I STEVE, he's a bad ass. He always hooks me up on my hardest days. We moved in 5 days ago and wanted to wait before leaving our review but so far everything has been AMAZING! I don't think we could have found a better place! I will be updating every few months with any notes but so far so good! Trevor in the leasing office has been helping us from the start and made everything so easy, even though we had a very short timeline there were absolutely no delays since he is just on top of it all. He is super knowledgeable about everything there is to know about the property and has been incredibly friendly and welcoming. Honorable mention to Mackenzie who helped us the day we picked up our keys and explained everything in great detail as well. I have not had the pleasure of working with Nick but he's really friendly and the entire team really seems like they enjoy working here. I noticed many reviews complain about noise so I was really worried about this and focused almost entirely on noise when we toured the place and heard nothing at all. I honestly thought there were no neighbors until we left one unit and as we were leaving the next door neighbor opened their door and I could hear them watching a movie, but when I was in the apartment I had no clue there was anyone even on the floor. I have a street facing unit on the 3rd floor and hear very little street noise(much less than when I lived in a residential area.) The street facing units I believe we're built later so it's possible they were built better or it was just a handful of loud people that were causing problems? Whenever I walk the hallways it has been dead silent, and we moved in on a Friday which would have been the loudest day if any. The apartment itself is really amazing and truly luxurious. They really thought of every little thing when building it, everything from soft close drawers and toilets, to having the bedroom and living room already set up for a wall mounted tv to have the wiring hidden, and a nice slide out trash can so it's out of sight. Along with the more obvious things like all the storage, the really sleek appliances and nest thermostat, huge bathtub, and super nice counter tops. We had a few minor issues upon move in and submitted the maintenance request through their app on Saturday night and when we came back home on Sunday after brunch it was already complete, on Father's day! I thought it would be a few days but they wasted no time so huge kudos to the maintenance team!! Parking so far has been a breeze as well, I was skeptical about not having an assigned spot since it is first come first serve and we have two cars but we have consistently found parking not only on our level but also near the door that is closest to our apartment. I'm still getting settled in and have not had a chance to go to the rooftop bar aside from when I toured but it looks incredible! It's run by Bosscat which is one of my favorite restaurants so I already know the drinks will be great, and they have poolside cabanas with tvs and built in fridges which is perfect for summer time get togethers now that covid is cancelled haha read more

It's been almost 4 months since I've lived here and I have REPEATEDLY asked to PLEASE clean the DEAD trees that are in front of my patio and the DEAD trees that are touching my window screen because it's attracting bugs/insect and more importantly- SUNLIGHT. 2. Why call it a 5 star luxury apartment when I hear stomping EVERYDAY at various hours including 1:30 a.m. when I called Hiba to address this issue, she automatically cites a paragraph in the leasing contract stating "if you don't like noise then maybe a multi living complex is not right for you. See it says right here in the contract" When I called to ask you how we can resolve this issue- not even to fight. Just what can we do so we are all happy, instead you cite a paragraph in the contract and basically said "if you don't like it- then leave" VERY professional and classy, Skyloft. Hiba eventually expressed frustration to me and said "well what do you want me to do then?? What??" Definitely see where the 5 star is. Do you? I absolutely hate this place. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It looks nice on the outside but it isn't. OH. There is also NO CELLULAR RECEPTION here. Amazing food, even more amazing live acts every week! I take my dad to Jazz night on Wednesdays which is amazing! I go on Sunday's as well to see The Andy Alvarez band. You won't find a better local blues band than them. Andy is absolute on guitar and vocals. Do yourself a favor and go see some amazing local talent and have some great food. Maintenance & cleaning staff are great. Front desk staff good. Coffee machines good. Taco Fridays yum. Garbage pick up from front door awesome. Parking garage has many spaces & seems secure than most. Plenty of nicer cars than mine. Plenty of cabinet space. Floors are thin, neighbors will complain daily even if you are not making noise. DO NOT rent anything near Jamboree or Main Street, crazy car noises will keep you awake & drive you crazy 24/7. Screeching motorcycles & dump trucks. Demand a quieter side or walk away. I don't know how people live here. Otherwise you will be miserable & not be able to sleep. Plenty of young people living here. Pot smoking smells daily via the vents. Not for young children. I've lived in multiple luxury apartment complexes in Irvine and Skyloft is hands-down the best. I love the built in Sonos speakers and the ample amount of storage/cabinets in the kitchen area. There were some issues with the appliances in my apartment but Ryan helped fix everything. He is super hardworking, friendly, and helpful thanks a bunch! You're the best! Only downside is the Trash Valet is hit-or-miss. They're supposed to come pick up the trash Sun-Thurs (excluding holidays). But, I've had them completely miss picking up trash on the entire hallway I live on. Then, the next morning, everyone in the hallway got violations for having trash out...clearly not the residents fault as the trash should have been picked up the night before. Overall, the place is lovely and the employees are very nice and accommodating. Still my favorite apartment complex I've lived in Irvine! Pros: Maintenance is great and very quick and helpful (which is good because you will make a maintenance request every other week, everything breaks.) Plenty of parking, which is hard to find in most other complexes in the area. Cons: The office staff is HORRIBLE. Awful, awful customer service. I'm sure they're being complained at all day so they all just look like they hate their lives, and they're so unpleasant. There's also new staff constantly. 0 retention and I'm not surprised. Hands down the worst leasing staff I've dealt with in any apartment. But they'll be nice to make that commission & get you to move in :) There's also NO insulation I swear. You WILL hear your neighbors at all times like they're physically in your apartment with you. Your fridge will freeze all of your food and your washer and dryer will stop working multiple times. The only "luxury" complex that I've had what feels like every single appliance in my unit break. Many of the residents & staff treat the community SO poorly, leaving trash & food literally everywhere. Do yourself a favor and don't be fooled by the pretty amenities, it's not worth it. read more

I moved into Skyloft on January 16th and had an incredible experience. The application process was easy and fast, and management was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Special thanks to Hiba Abduljabbar for her amazing service! The complex itself has a very modern and clean look to it. The unit is well-designed and maximizes space. The kitchen comes with new appliances, plenty of storage space, and a very impressive island which can be used for cooking or as a bar table to eat at. One of the first things you'll notice when you walk in are the high ceilings, which really enlarge all of the rooms and make them feel much bigger than they are. The amenities offered here are also perfect for people who work from home and the business center is nice if you want a change of scenery. There is also a pool with cabanas downstairs and a very impressive lounge/bar on the roof, which looks amazing. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day or to bring friends to when you have visitors. So far everyone I've met has been extremely friendly and welcoming. The community here is superb, and if you enjoy socializing or networking, there are some interesting people to meet. I feel very safe here and have had an excellent experience so far. I would highly recommend Skyloft if you are looking for a new place to live. read more

I just moved in about a week ago so this may be premature but so far so good! The apartments, building, and grounds are absolutely beautiful and from what I have seen very well maintained! There's a lot of amenities here too from a roof top bar (that hosts various functions throughout the week like taco night and sushi, etc), virtual golfing, and valet trash service Sunday through Thursday nights. Seems to be plenty of parking in the garage but does look like, unsurprisingly, lower floors fill up quicker. I've primarily worked with Tyler in the leasing office and he's been super nice and helpful with everything. The units come with very nice Whirlpool appliances, smart thermostats (Nest E model), Sonos speakers in the living room ceiling (!), and overall very nicely sized. There's a ton of built-in storage which is great; along with a lot of built-in lighting! I previously lived in another "luxury" apartment complex here in Irvine and it's no comparison to Skyloft! read more

Going on 3 years at the Skyloft! Clearly I love it there. Having a bar upstairs is super convenient. The staff is super cool, Hiba is fun and easy to talk to, Farhana is super nice, Kevin is super cool, Maintenance responds super quick to request. The property is pretty clean, since maintenance is always cleaning. There have been some neighbors in the past that are disrespectful to others especially with their dog poops in the hall ways, but management made sure to get them out. Parking is sufficient. No complaints, except one, and that's the monster speed bumps that were installed the last year. They scrape my car and cause a massive drop every time I roll over them, even going slow. Hoping they can get that taken care of before serious damage happens to my car. Other than that, all is good, Skyloft will be home for awhile. read more

She took my info down for follow up Ended up not renting it because I had already signed up for another years with my current apartment complex (2 days after L so sad. Their attorney contacted me indicating, "In response to your negative reviews on Yelp.com, our client vehemently denies all of the allegations made therein and...This is formal demand to remove the reviews..." I'm a woman and a Chinese (bringing this because my race is a fact). I was being discriminated by a resident. That person posted a racist "joke" years ago regarding Chinese women. And I didn't feel safe for being here. I wonder would this incident happen to me if I were a strong white male. That person is 6 ft and physically stronger than me. He has been playing ridiculously loud party music for 6 months. I have filed many noise violations against him. Most of the complaints happened during quiet hours or 6-7 in the morning. The management said it takes process to evict him and the process takes 6 months and still no eviction. In addition, the attorney states in the letter, "you live in a multi-residential community and cannot expect insulation from all noise activity, including common everyday activities, which are not occurring during the quiet hours of the community, such as those you have complained of and [the insulting] you listed above." ITS NOT TRUE, I have filed many complaints during quiet hours for six months. 11/20/20, He verbally insulted and threatened me when I kindly asked him to lower the music. I came to his door, he opened the door and yelled at me saying I couldn't afford the rent to live on 5th floor so I have to put up with his heavy footsteps and loud music. Also indicating he would definitely do something to me if I ever knocked on him again. After this, He talked to the management accusing me for harassing him. (It is so Ridiculous) I was so scared and my hands couldn't stop shaking. And I feel so helpless because the management always says "it takes time to process." They even asked, "do you go to car dealer if your car get hit?" ALL I SAID WAS TRUE. NO FABRICATION. read more

I moved in a month ago and so far I've had a wonderful experience. Everything is outstanding. From the building, the community, events, facilities, rooftop bar and the employees. Everyone working in the building is very attentive and kind. Always greeting me and with great smiles. I had an issue with my Refrigerator when I moved it. As soon as I submitted my service request, Luis and Juan came to my rescue! Both are great and very friendly. They were very attentive to my needs and professional. In fact, Juan is also the DJ every Friday at the rooftop. He was great and made the evening fun while hanging out on the rooftop with a few friendly neighbors. Great times!! We just moved out of Skyloft after staying there for one year. To summarize, I do think Skyloft is the best apartment we have ever lived in Irvine. We stayed a lot of apartments for the past a few years in Irvine or San Francisco, I would still rate Skyloft one of the top ones. Things I will miss living here - convenience: skyloft is close to everything, their maintenance team is on top of their game. If things break, all you need to do is to submit a maintenance request, someone would fix it within 24 hr. - Parcel Pending: if you are like me, that has a lot of packages, I would run here! Their parcel pending system is so good, I don't ever need to worry about my packages get stolen. - valet trash: you get so spoiled living here and you just place your trash out of your door every night, someone will take your trash for you! - downstairs dog park: if you have a dog and this is it for you! Your dog would thank you to have a dog park just downstairs of your apartment, I know dog owners from other apartments get jealous of us! Haha - rooftop bar: who doesn't need a drink on a Friday night or a Saturday night? You can just wear your pjs and go up there instead of making an effort to go to a bar for a drink! Things I would complain the most is their inadequate sound proofing!! Dude I can't even play balls or toys at the apartment with my dog before my downstairs neighbor comes up to bitch about it! He also bitches about our footsteps being loud. We would hear his TV or music playing every time he plays! It's frustrating and annoying! Also getting food delivery to your door is difficult, delivery person can never find your Apartment unit. Need better signs to show apartment layout. People drive hella fast in the parking lot, my dog almost got run over once. Need to install speed bump! read more

Living at Skyloft has been AMAZING! I can go on for days about how well they maintain all of the amenities and the entire property, but what really makes this feel like home is the welcoming staff. Ericka Alarcon helped us find out place and ever since then it has been great. Both her and the maintenance staff are incredibly friendly and always say hi and invite us to their many community events, which is rare for a large apartment complex. After reviewing, our options, she took us through a tour of the building, amenities and the model apartment. We fell in love with the place, from the wide open spaces, apartment, receded lighting and how clean and well-kept all the amenities are kept. Ericka has been an amazing help from day one going above and beyond with any questions we've had and just being a great human who truly cares about the residents.
