I use to come here all the time for my nails and toes and it was my number 1 place but after my recent visit I'm not giving them my money again. First, they didint sit me and the person I came with together. I asked because she didint speak well English and the nail lady did not care. Second, they didint have the colors we wanted. Third, they used Matte polish but the color had streaks so she had them remove it but they still charged her for it. Fourth, she chose a new color and it looked completely different then the sample. Fifth, I asked nicely if she could remove it and she said it was to late. All of these events could have been prevented if they showed compassion. I was upset. In the end she waisted $70 for her full set and I walked out with a color that I wasint sure. read more

I had to find a new nail salon & read some good reviews about this place. Close to home, so I gave it a try. The overall vibe of the place I liked, everyone was friendly. They offered a beverage which I find as a bonus in salons. I went for a gel pedicure & gel fill. They had new colors; metallic, cat. Etc. I chose a metallic color. Its a beautiful color! Changes in every light and movement! My pedicure went great. Love shape, they used a new plastic liner, and temp just right. For my gel fill... I'm dissapointed. The nail tech COMPLETELY lost my shape (I have coffin nails or ballerina nail whichever they are called) they also are extremely thick. The color is what just makes me love the nails. If I would have done a nude I probably would be more unsatisfied as I could nit pick it constantly, the color just keeps me in awe so this time I can look the flaws. The prices are also what I love about the salon. $30 for a Gel Fill $10 extra for the color because it was definitely a timely/patient process.. and the gel pedi is $45. Will I be back? Yes! However, I will try a different tech... probably either Jay or Kingston since I have read such great reviews. I won't give up on this place until I've tried both of them. read more

Plus my nails started to peel within the first week. The young man who did my nails was in such a hurry towards the end. I recall sitting there waiting for my nails to dry and he just left...no thank...no good bye have a good day..just disappeared in the back room with his cell phone. I've been here twice now and they're actually very good in service and detail. It's been a while since I've actually felt that way about a nail salon. The price to quality ratio is worth it. Gel manicure is $30. They do a great job and make you feel comfortable. Very friendly, offer drinks, and have a tv that's playing so you can occupy yourself and relax. I love the location and definitely see myself coming back here regularly. If you're in the area, you should definitely give them a try. They have the potential to become a hot spot for Henderson! Not only is Jay a detailed perfectionist, the staff is friendly, they go out if their way to make you comfortable. They give you a pillow to rest your hand on so they can do the manicure while someone else is doing your pedi. Thirsty? Here's water!! And their prices are lower!! The salon is clean and uncluttered. I was able to book an appointment quickly with this place. Right after they confirmed the details of the appointment, they sent a text. Very nice touch! We walked in and felt as if we were disturbing the nail techs. They were all laying around in the pedicure chairs and watching tv. The place was empty save one other appointment. The place seemed a bit off. The nail techs never really address you and tell you that they can't do certain nail shapes or techniques that you request. My services were off- the cuticles were over cut, I was bleeding and left raw. The base coat and polish coats were lumpy and extremely thick. The shape of the nails were left kind of rough even after she had gone over everything with a final file. I didn't want to stay any longer or bother her to redo the service so I paid and won't be back. My friends acrylics were too thick, the tech nicked her and the shape was totally slanted. Seems like they have their strong clientele- good for them! They also seemed to know some by name and greeted and joked with them. I don't think we'll be by again to become so friendly. read more

I made an appointment for a full set and pedicure with a specific nail technician and upon arrival was told that he could not do my pedicure and had another technician perform the pedicure. While sitting in the pedicure chair the original nail tech asked what color and nail art I wanted, I showed him the picture and he stated he did not have time to do that, he had other appointments coming in about 15 minutes. I have been to this salon many times before and have not been satisfied with the work of the other techs but knew this tech was good. I did not want others to perform work and refused. My biggest problem is that I made an appointment. If he did not have time then don't set the appointment. I left in tears as I had planned my day around this appointment. if i could give less i would. i went in asking for a full set with gel & 2 little designs. i checked the price list first to make sure it wasn't going to be an arm & a leg for a set of nails. it said $45 for a full set with gel & $5 for design. NO BIGGIE SOUNDS GOOD! then i looked at the pictures to see if they do good & wow they did pretty good! so i booked an appointment for the following day. i go in & i see who i now know or believe to be the owner Jay Dang. he takes me to his spot i show him my inspo pics & he says ok. when i sat down i noticed how DIRTY the place was. soda cans laying everywhere, dirt buildup, just gross. but whatever, hopefully the supplies are clean. nope... he uses all dirty bits on me & the UV lamp is DISGUSTING. felt like i was going to get sick from looking at it. then he proceeds to do my nails, i told him thag my nails are SUPER SENSITIVE AND THIN right now since i've been doing my nails a lot. he does not go easy on me at all... it hurt so bad. the shape i wanted was a kind of skinny almond, he starts doing my tips & before he even asks me if the shape is good i finally notice & say hold on let me see. the first 2 looked good so i let him continue! i ended up with blocks on my nails.... but he seemed in a bad mood so i wasn't going to say anything else. anyways we come to the end & i was just over it at this point. i thought it was going to be $50 for everything... he says $65!!!!! whatever i'm done, i pay & still give him $5 tip. i leave & notice how terrible my nails are. the cuticles?! omg forget about it. they were TERRIBLE!!! there was gel overflow & acrylic ALLLLL over my nails & fingers. thank god i am learning to do nails so i have supplies at my house. i go home to clean them up. they look ok now. but after posting how terrible my experience was with this salon everyone told me i was crazy to pay or even leave. my boyfriend finally told me to message the salon & tell him about my experience. the guy says oh shape is $5, length is $5, design is $10.... WHAT?! no where does it say that & you never once warned me before that it was going to be extra for all of that!!! salons always tell me before. anyways he goes on to say how he's sorry & can fix them, i told him i fixed them & i just want a HALF REFUND. which i think is pretty fair. he says he can't but he will fix my nails. BUDDY I ALREADY FIXED THEM I JUST WANT SOME OF MY MONEY BACK!!! anyways... never going here again. read more
