Good pizzas with some fun flavors. I've been here for lunch many times and have yet to have anything I didn't like.

First time for my partner and I trying Slackwater and did not disappoint!! This place is a chill spot and the food was bomb!! I got the most fav California pizza and my partner got the Hulk and we shared the citrus morita wings. Both pizza came with avocado which was weird but so delicious. The first bite was getting hit with a combo punch of flavors! The wings had a little kick but enough to keep going, one thing I would recommend is asking for ranch on the side it was missing some lol. The server was super nice, their name was Cole and was just on top of it and made sure we had a good first time. Definitely will be coming back for more !! read more

Slackwater - Pizza Near Me - Herriman, Utah

Yay for a new Slackwater location! You've got us covered from Ogden all the way to Herriman with two locations in between. I love Slackwater and have been coming to their SLC/Sandy locations for a few years now, so I was excited to check out the new Herriman location. It's a great location in Herriman, with a big dining area (although I don't think as big as Sandy/SLC?) and the garage doors to let in the fresh air. Excited to see this area develop more! Our server was wonderful and so attentive. And another server even stopped by and greeted me when I walked in and when I sat down and was so friendly! I didn't get their names, but both were amazing! Thank you for being so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Strawberry Salad Special: I got their summer strawberry salad today and it was delicious - strawberries, cucumbers, shallots, cheese, a delicious poppyseed dressing. It was the perfect summer salad. Nachos: I'm vegetarian and my friend is gluten free, so we were able to get the nachos with the pork on the side, which made it both gluten free & vegetarian! The nachos had good flavor, however they were really soggy from the chili verde sauce I believe? I wanted to like them more, but we didn't finish them because most of the chips in the middle were totally soggy from the sauce. Also - not a huge deal because I'm not a huge stickler, but even though we asked for pork on the side, there were still a few bits of pork in the nachos as well so just be cautious if you're vegetarian. I love Slackwater and it will always be a recommendation of mine! Excited to see them opening up more locations throughout Utah. read more

I always enjoy coming to slack water. Walked in on a Sunday and got seated right away. Tiny esses ordered! Taste like drinking skittles! Ordered cáprese appetizer and it was really good! They use some of their pizza dough for the bread part. And it's delicious, flavor of the dough is kind of like sour dough type. Made me wonder if they use a starter for the pizza dough! Iron horse pizza was really good. I like the flavor of the crust. I got a Caesar salad and felt it was little soggy but it had good flavor. Husband ordered a house salad with chicken and was massive and he also said was really good Sorry only got pictures of my drink! Waiter was also very nice! Everyone we encountered was friendly. Outside I would say wait until they build more or add grass. The sandy location has a nice out doors. But this location because it's new, trees aren't established. read more

Is it nice having a Slackwater closer to home? Yes. Is it the same Slackwater vibes you get from the Ogden, SLC, or Sandy location? Not really... Love it or hate it, the Herriman location is definitely giving a family friendly vibe. It felt more like an Applebees or Chili's than a pizza & beer cult favorite eatery. However, the food was still delicious. We ordered the Citrus Morita Dry Rub Wings, the You'll Be Stuffed, and the This Is Sparta pizza. The wings were okay, but as always, anything with Slackwater's signature pizza dough is going to be a winner. Will the Herriman location become my new spot? Probably not. But will it be nice to have one closer by? Absolutely. read more

This was our first visit to Slackwater and it was amazing! Service was fast and friendly and made for a great experience. We had nachos, wings, a sandwich and salad in our group and it was all great! Slackwater Pizza was amazing! I went with my boyfriend and we both loved our pizzas. I got the Hot Honey Double Pepperoni and he had a buffalo-style pizza--both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. We also got drinks, and the total for two pizzas and two drinks was about $28, which felt like a really good deal. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy, and the pizza was fresh and delicious. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to! read more

I've heard amazing things about Slackwater pizza but it's a little far away so I haven't tried it. I can finally say that I tried it and it definitely lives up to the hype! This location was relatively new, but it was clean and our service was very good. The ambience was really nice and the food speaks for itself. I was impressed with their selection of pizzas - we definitely ordered too much food! But how do you pick? We ordered a plain cheese for the small kids just to be safe. Then we branched out and got a Tikka pizza and a Gyro pizza - both were awesome! The California sunrise pizza was fresh and delightful. I would definitely order it again! My girls loved it and keep begging to go back! Huge win! read more

Love this new location. Less than 10 minutes away and very happy about that! The food here is so high quality. It's one of those menus where you can't go wrong with whatever you order. My husband and I got the spinach salad, calzone, wings, and mac and cheese for my son. even the mac and cheese was gourmet. Every dish had so much flavor and they didn't take any shortcuts with their execution. As with other slackwaters in the Utah area, they are all incredible. Would 100% come again! read more

We are at Slackwater for the first time tonight. The food was delicious. Best pizza crust in town! I ordered the You'll Be Stuffed Sticks and we were! We had leftovers! The server brought us a take home box and I filled it with the leftover 'sticks'. Unfortunately, I left them on the table. We noticed this mistake about 5 min after we left. We returned to get them immediately, but they had already reseated the table and disposed of our leftovers. It was completely our fault, but they insisted on replacing them with a whole new order of 'Sticks'. We pleased that it was unnecessary, but they insisted. Great customer service!! I love this restaurant we have been here many times and had very great experiences the food here is great the atmosphere is great. And the service has always been amazing except for today. Me and my wife went here on a Sunday morning for brunch with our daughter. The hostess tried to seat us a small 2 seat table with our daughter in a high chair. We voiced our concerns on having the high chair in the middle of the isle. The hostess then moved us to a booth which would still require the high chair in the busy isle. The place was mostly empty and there were plenty of open tables that we could have sat at that would not require the high chair be in the main isle of the restaurant. We ended up leaving. I liked the pizza - I tried both the pepperoni and the hot honey DP. I would definitely be fine with either one going forward. The real star here though was the appetizer - the "You'll be Stuffed Sticks" were superb and as I finished them, I wanted more! The atmosphere was pretty good - being able to play as either date night, casual, or family event. Our server...was interesting. I had heard that this is the best pizza in Utah. I would definitely put it in that group. It's a very small exclusive group too. The dough was amazing, just slightly sweet but really good and chewy, just like a pizza should be. I got their version of a Hawaiian pizza, the PUA'A LUAU. The pineapple is fresh pineapple, and it's grilled, which really sets it apart and elevates it. The ham was also delicious on that pizza. We also tried their YOU'LL BE STUFFED STICKS and those were also amazing. Great cheese blend. Would definitely go again. read more

After visiting the Sandy location, I was thrilled to learn that Herriman was getting a Slackwater out on the west side. I anxiously watched as the building was finished and the crowds died down a bit after the initial opening, then my colleague and I went to enjoy lunch mid-day and found it to be absolutely stellar. Even my extremely picky daughter claimed the pizza to be "the best!" Love this new location. Pretty building. Lots of parking. The waitress was friendly and always checking on us but not too much, you know? Good frequency. We split the nachos because I heard they were good and the waitress said she liked them too. But they were soggy when they got to the table. I'm fairly certain it's that chili verde on top. Just too liquidy to be sitting on chips. I wasn't that into the overall flavor of the nachos either. Bummer. The pizza was pretty good though. I got a gluten free California sunrise. I liked the texture of the gf crust and the green goddess had a nice fresh taste. The pizza tasted healthy but in a good way.
