The work was done quickly and because we had provided pictures of our original garbage disposal, the team was able to show up with a replacement rather than making us wait. The whole process took less than 3 hours and the work site was cleaned before the crew departed. I was thoroughly satisfied with the quality of the work and am planning to seek DC Plumbing and Drain Service's help for my future plumbing and drain repair needs.

I made it very clear that the technician bring a drop cloth to place over my hardwood flooring, towels to wipe up water, and a bucket/pan to place underneath the sink to catch any water. This should be standard of any plumber that shows up to any home. No customer should have to tell a plumbing company this. None of these items were brought by the technician, Jeff. Instead, Jeff just showed up with a very dirty and rusted snake in a contractor bag, the smallest of rags, and no pan/bucket. Jeff dragged the dirty snake all over the hardwood flooring, ended up using my tenant's towels and pan - and he was slower than molasses in doing the job...he kept taking breaks while on the job. My tenant actually took the pan of water to the bathroom to empty in the toilet. Jeff failed to connect all of the snake together the first time - so he had to snake it a second time and add more links to the snake. Horrible experience. Just horrible. I will never again be using or recommending this company. I feel I was ripped off when it came to the amount charged as well. The high ratings shown do not reflect my experience at all. I don't like to give negative reviews - but I feel this one is definitely needed.

Randy was very professional, courteous, and very flexible with my time request. Once he arrived, him and Nate were very polite and patient working around my kids and pets. Every time I asked a question while they worked they would give me their undivided attention. Whenever they moved to a new step in the process, Randy would educate me with everything they do and how I can maintain good air quality in my house. I really needed my dryer vent cleaned - the dryer was taking two full cycles to dry a load of laundry, so I called Lowe's and they fit me in the very next afternoon. They sent Alex to my house, and he was right on time. Friendly, informative, Alex got right down to business cleaning my very clogged vent. He also showed me pictures of the inside of the duct connecting the vent to the outside of my house, and he speculated that the last company to "clean" the vent broke the duct (he showed me the defect before he began the task of cleaning the vent/duct. I could hear the huge amounts of debris being sucked into Alex's shopvac. He was conscientious about not wearing shoes in the house, cleaning up any bits and pieces in my laundry room, and was just sincerely pleasant and kind. The level of customer service I got from Alex was so refreshing - it was the kind of interaction you hope for every time you need to rely on a professional to perform a task you simply cannot complete yourself.
