He is easy going, kind, and knows how to motivate you to get to your goal.  He has a very unique training technique that keeps you interested. I've trained with Chris on and off for years, admittedly off when I'm being a lazy bum! I really like how spacious and clean the gym is with an ample variety of equipment and parking. I train with Chris in group settings, usually with anywhere from 1-3 other woman depending on the time of day. Chris is good about being flexible with my schedule, which is really nice because I have a somewhat unconventional and unpredictable work flow. All I have to do is shoot him a text to confirm when I'll be there during his work day and we're good. Chris is really good at motivating me, which I need or I tend to slack off. I also really like the woman who I have met that workout with him, it's like having my buddies at the gym. Every time I go in he has a new workout planned that pretty much targets the entire body. He's pumped me up to increase my reps and weight which all around makes me feel good about myself. I can hear him now "Come on Andi, you can do it"...followed by "Good job" and a high five. Be prepared to work hard, if you let him he will transform you but you have to put the work in. If you need to alter a certain exercise, he's great a tweaking and customizing on the spot. My knees tend to bug me for example and he always makes sure to keep that in mind. He also demonstrates each exercise and makes sure my form is correct. He knows my target areas and always focuses on them which I really like. I have a pretty decent gym in my complex, but when I'm there I kinda just jump all over the place. What I like most about Chris is that he mainly works with women, so I feel comfortable and I don't have to think about my workout or try and plan it myself. I came to Chris for triathlon off-season strength training to get me stronger and faster for the bike and run portion. Chris listened to my needs and gives me a well rounded workout to target all of the muscle groups that support my sport. I can now power up hills faster and have more energy to hold my pace for a longer distance. He even checks in on me after workouts to see how I feel. The gym is conveniently right off the 405 freeway and on the way to work. It is a private gym with showers way cleaner than corporate gyms. The only people who are there working out, are with a personal trainer which means you don't have to wait for some dude sitting on a machine looking at his cell phone. The trainers are respectful of each other, and give each other space to train their clients without waiting for equipment or being in the way. All of the clients go there for a purposeful workout, which motivates me to get the most out of my time there. Chris is very knowledgeable, can work around injuries and answer any nutrition question or muscle group question thrown at him. All of my workouts are purposeful and he motivates me to give it my all. He produces results, which means he will now be my year-round trainer to keep me strong, fit, and healthy. read more

Chris is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with and I have worked with many in Irvine. He is the the one that got me to the best shape of my life and I was able to compete in my first fitness show in 2017! Something I never thought I could do. I had started the process with other personal trainers but never really had the follow through for whatever reason, and Chris really pushed me when I wanted to quit. He comes up with workouts that I could never think to do on my own and challenges me daily. I am heading into my third month training with Stacie and the only thing I regret is not joining sooner! When your boyfriend notices a tighter booty or you start getting compliments on your quads, calves, arms from complete strangers ... you know it's working! The gym that Sleek Physique calls home is centrally located in Orange County. With convenient freeway access and with great hours of operation, I can always make the time to come train. This is not just a normal "boot camp" style training regimen. Chris keeps his groups small, and really pays attention to everyone under his supervision. I have been working out with Chris at Sleek Physique Personal Training now for about 4 months. I have done pretty much every format of exercise there is. I have had personal trainers at Crunch, Bally's, 24 Hour Fitness, Total Woman, & independently. I have taken several boot-camps and group fit classes weightlifting and none have been comparable to the service he provides and results that Chris helps you to achieve. Up until this month I haven't changed any of my eating or drinking habits and I have still managed to lose 4" around my waist alone. Not to say that this was a wise choice because if I had watched my intake my progress would be even greater. BUT 4" without any food changes and working out just an hour a day speaks volumes for his workouts. From all the male trainers I have worked with Chris has been the best and the most comfortable to work with. He is very professional and personable. He makes the workouts fun & I look forward to working out everyday now. I have experienced injuries in the past, specifically with my lower back and he is always very conscientious of this and selective of the routines I do so that I do not injure myself and continue to strengthen my weaker areas. I am feeling stronger than I have in a long time and that is a good feeling. The workouts are always challenging and they don't get easier as he makes sure to monitor the level that you are at so you continue to progress and do not plateau. If you want results then Chris is your trainer! I can not say enough about Chris. He is knowledgeable and makes your goals his goals. I worked out with chris for post baby number one (had great results) and while pregnant with #2. Chris checks in with you periodically and holds you accountable. The thing I loved most about Chris is that he builds great relationships with all of his clients. So it is easy to discuss fitness goals with him. He will push you, motivate you, encourage you, and call you out when you need it! The gym is easily accessible to major freeways. I lived in Long Beach and would drive from Long Beach to work out early before work with Chris. There are showers/locker room to get ready. It was a great way to start my day! I have been training with Chris (Sleek Physique) for a little over a year now and I love it. While training with Chris I have noticed that I have gotten stronger and can see more muscle definition on my legs and arms. Last year I completed the Surf City Challenge, it consisted of 3 half marathons. Thanks to Chris' training I was able to recover faster after each race. I started with Sleek Physique Personal Training in March to get wedding ready for my July wedding and its the best decision I made. My trainer, Alissa, is one of a kind!! She not only helped me drop inches and lbs, she gave me confidence and has inspired me to continue my fitness goals long after I say "I Do." I have always been into physical fitness and worked out by myself at 24hour fitness, but clearly was not doing the correct exercises because I wasn't able to tone up and break my plateau. Alissa came up with innovative work out routines and explained how each exercise targeted the certain areas. She listened to my specific goals and worked towards helping me achieve those goals. The one thing I really love about her is that she is able to think quickly on her feet to modify exercises if I was sore, add more intense exercise if it looked like the exercise I was doing wasn't challenging enough, or change her plan for me that day because I asked to target a specific area. She always checked on me the next day to see how I was feeling from the previous nights work out, and I can go to her for any advice on meals or food prep. She has great ideas for the kinds of foods to eat and would keep me accountable for eating healthy. My biggest problem area was my back, and by the time my wedding rolled around my back was in the best shape of my life and she gave me confidence to strut my stuff down that aisle.
