This was our second stop while looking for a king bed. We walked in & was greeted by JC & he told he'd be right there after finishing up with the couple at the register. We told him what we were looking for & what type of bed we didn't really like. From the knowledge we learned at the first store, we knew we wanted a spring mattress not memory foam. So he had us lay on his most popular one. It was a bit out of our price range so he had us try something similar for a lower price & also another one at an even lower price. He also suggested we try the hybrid which is foam on he top layer, spring on bottom. We liked that as well. We narrowed it down to the hybrid & middle price point spring, but in the end chose the spring. We were told that the king size would have to be ordered & that it would take 2 weeks. Delivery was free, unlike the first place we visited. JC was great, he wasn't pushy & we didn't feel pressured to buy it. We got a call in just 1.5 weeks that it was ready. They communicated well the night before the timeframe they'd be coming & when they were about 10 minutes. A very quick easy drop off. Last night was our first night with the bed, & ohhhh it's so nice. Our dog sleeps in our bed & we all have space now without feeling cramped. We had a great nights sleep. Newly married and we decided we needed a new mattress/bed. We started at the usual places and we wanted to shop around. Third place we landed was sleep bargains and it didn't disappoint. Shane the owner walked up through what options he had in the models we were looking at. We were surprised at the unique selection he had. We found a local brand that had a bed we loved. We really wanted a split king with a split king adjustable base. Everywhere we looked it was out of our price range being $6,000 plus. So we were going to settle for a king bed with a split base for future purchase. But Shane is a local owner with a local bed and we were able to get what we really wanted! I'm giving a 2 stars because our initial visit with the owner was awesome. We looked at other places and came back because he was down to earth and not high pressure. We got a floor model that he gave us a deal on. Expecting that the floor model would be "as is" and not returnable, I asked specifically when we came back later in the day. He said typically it would not be but it would have a 60 or 90 (I can't remember which) day exchange if it just wasn't working. We were sold on him and his personally owned business so we bought the floor model. We tested it out that night and unfortunately it was entirely too hard for us so we decided to pack it up and take it back the next day. I took it back alone as my boyfriend was working today but early this morning we decided to up grade and get a bigger size. Upon getting there, I saw it was not the owner, it was someone else. A tall guy with brown hair and a mustache. I didn't catch his name and he didn't offer. I immediately told him what had happened and asked if I should come back when the owner was there. He said no he would look at it and try to help. After assuring me that the floor models were no meant to come back and now it was used and not easy to sell along with several other guilt speeches I asked about the waterproof sheet. He said it wouldn't be able to be returned if opened. I said I understood and would sell it online or something. He asked about the mattress. I mentioned there was a dog in the home but it had not been on the mattress. We are in the process of moving and stay temporarily with family until we have our own place so the mattress was stood on its side specifically to keep the dog off. He asked if there was hair on it. I said I didn't know and said I didn't believe so and he was more than welcome to look at it in the plastic in the back of the truck. Somehow I ended up out there looking. I felt like I was pleading my case in something I shouldn't need to be. Not only was it annoying but it was insulting. I then listened to how there was blanket fuzz on it as well and more complaining. Finally I said he didn't have to take it as I was at my wits end. I have better things to do during a move than argue with some guy who was having "one of those days". In the end I traded for something else and ended up paying tax for it. Originally I was told they pay the tax. Not that it matters as technically I'm AN OREGON RESIDENT!!! I still ended up paying as I was told the price prior to paying the upgrade but he didn't mention it included tax. I saw once I was home. It's unfortunate for the owner honestly. We planned to buy another bed for a family member as well once officially moved but I would rather pay more money and not deal with this specific employee. If you want a good deal, purchase from the owner only. Sadly his employee lost him a customer. Very unfortunate as I'd rather support personally owned. I'll never pay hundreds and be treated like that again though. I was nice enough to help him load the upgraded mattress even though I'm pregnant. Wait no, I can't lie, I did it so I could get out of there and not hear him complain more. Your welcome. *very disappointed* I also noticed moisture in the box spring bag. Again, I noticed this once I was home but I saw another mattress sitting on the ground outside their delivery truck with the bag full of moisture when I drove around back to pick up the upgrade. read more

So worth the drive from Portland! The store is super easy to find from I-5, and Shane is laid back and helpful. We called first with questions and he took the time to answer them all. When I called the manufacture they said that I needed to purchase the accessory from a mattress store. I called around and many other places said they would look and call me back but they never did.
