Sleep in is a very budget friendly and good hotel for staying a couple of days. The food in the morning does the job. It's good and some nutritional. Most of it is just starch and all made in the microwave but it does the job until you go get your own food. The rooms are clean, well equipped. They are a bit on the small side but you get what you pay. The reason I'm giving it a four star was because our bathroom had some minor stains. I took them off with Clorox wipes which I always disinfect before touching anything but it was no biggie. Staff was nice and attentive. I had a good time staying there and felt comfortable despite the construction going on I highly recommend the hotel to others. I am a bit picky when I comes to where I stay so this place did the job. read more

I have to give this place a 5 star rating. After a 14 hr drive I had an easy check in and was able to get a clean and comfortable room. Walls could be thicker but overall I would definitely stay her again. It was a reasonable price and comfortable stay. Great breakfast by the way. read more

Once again we had an outstanding time at the sleep inn. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The bathroom was immaculate and stocked well. The staff are so friendly and engaging. We come up here to see our grandchildren from Tucson frequently the employees don't mind my grandkids visiting and using the pool. It's always a pleasurable experience staying at this hotel. Wow! I came to Flagstaff for a night for a friend's wedding and the room was absolutely perfect. I stayed with a friend in a 2 Queen bed room. They had everything! Fridge, microwave, TV, huge shower, perfectly working ac. There were no strange smells and practically no outside noises to keep us awake. I didn't check out the pool so I can't really add input there. The breakfast bar was seriously one of the better FREE breakfast bars I've seen. Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, hot eggs and bacon, coffee, juices. Will definitely be staying here again on any future trips to Flagstaff. read more

For starters, its a Sleep Inn, can't tell you that its a 5 star hotel, but if you need a place to sleep and a place that is friendly, this is the place. The pool is run down and not the greatest but it is in door so its a perk. The rooms are updated but have small TV's, and the bathrooms are small and cramped but functional. As for Breakfast, it's a good thing its free, it's not really worth going to in my opinion unless you want a waffle, but then its a 20 minute wait typically to get one. If you skip the pool and breakfast this place isn't bad. The front desk staff needs some excitement they aren't very peppy but they get the job done and aren't rude. This place is close to a lot, yet out of the way so you can relax and forget how bad traffic can get in flagstaff! I would stay here again! read more

We stayed here for 3 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The free morning breakfast was top notch! Eggs with either bacon or sausage and biscuits and gray each morning. They also had a waffle maker, so you had plenty of choices. But the highlight of this place was Janel at the front desk. She answered my endless amount of questions, she printed out for me maps and directions to our destinations, and always had a great local dinner accommodation. It is a small hotel with a FREE BREAKFAST bar. They have an indoor pool too. It is clean and modern. Very quiet atmosphere. Not far from the Glen Canyon Dam (which one should visit). Not much dining selections around the city; Yelp it. But l am glad there is a Walmart within the driving distance to get extra things like water, fruits and anything you may have forgotten to bring on your trip. Whoops lm sorry ! you want a place that looks like the website, here it is. I had room 233. No heady cleaning chemical smell, no trace of smoke, just clea and dry. I was all about a comfortable bed and I got one. Bathroom clean. Front desk, quite happy and friendly. Standard comp breakfast. We skipped it and ate at Biff's Bagels. THAT place was excellent, 5 minutes away. Not only is this place 3 minutes from NAU, it's across the street from Walmart which was great for a travelling family. Be aware there was no elevator. I will gladly stay here again. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay in Sleep Inn, we stayed for 3 nights. Overall, the Inn was clean and the staff was pleasant. The only cons I would have to say was the bathroom was extremely small, but efficient; the room (we got one king bed bedroom) was a bit smaller than we were use to, but nonetheless doable; the wifi did not work.. I guess we could have asked them to fix their wifi or something, but we were lazy.. lastly, the walls were extremely thin. I think the walls being thin was the worst since my boyfriend is a light sleeper, like you can heard the water running through the walls.. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay. read more

My daughter and I flew to Phoenix and stayed the night in Flagstaff before visiting the Grand Canyon. From the moment we walked in to this hotel, we were so pleased and impressed. It is located close to the freeway, but it is quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and tastefully decorated. They are eco friendly with their supplies and policies. The breakfast was the best part! This is a pleasant deal for what I paid. I am just passing by heading back to the East Coast and needed a decent place to stay. This place is super clean, cute, homey, modern, smells clean (no foul odor), carpet & everything else is new. I stayed in a king size bed (room) and it may be small for some folks but I am not picky on the room size. But I am picky on the comforter (has to be white or at least a clean/ newer)and sheets, smell of room, and carpet. This place hit the jackpot on what I wanted and it's original room price online was $109.95, but tonight price was $89. They do charge a pet price of $20 which I'm thrilled since other hotels prefer no pets. However, I was able to save 15% for being in the military which is fantastico! This is "way-yonder" nice than sleeping on dirt / ground w/ A/C. So this person here is super happy on everything so far. The building and hallway is clean with awesome friendly front desk service. I will definitely make this my first choice to stay in again if I should pass through again. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night, and we were very impressed with this affordable Flagstaff hotel, and will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable - the three things I look for in a hotel. The 4 star rating is because they did not have an elevator, and I did not recall seeing anywhere (when I booked the room) that the building was not completely handicap friendly. I was a little bummed that I needed to carry our heavy items up a flight of stairs. However, I suspect that if I had asked, someone would have assisted us. The gal at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern, small, but the right size for a one night stay. Sleep Inn is a rather small cozy hotel that benefits from its size and lower prices and has amenities that include an indoor pool/jacuzzi, elevator, sitting area with couches, outdoor grill and patio seating, 24 hour coffee (decaf too!), and continental breakfast. We reserved a king sized bed and although the room was on the small side (as was the bed - it was not truly a king sized bed) the room was clean and modern. We did have an issue with the TV however as it kept losing connection and sound. The location is great - just across the street from a Walmart, Cafe Rio, and a grocery store that also has a Starbucks. Depending on the room you get you may end up closest to the 40 freeway which can increase traffic sounds all night long. But the 40 is not as busy as other freeways I've slept next to. The free breakfast had reheated meat (bacon/sausage patties), powder or liquid eggs, pre-purchased hard boiled eggs, waffle machine, yogurt, pastries, bread/toast. Nothing too spectacular there. It's free (or "free" as it is included in your nightly cost) we even skipped it and went out to breakfast the second night. Check out The Northern Pines Restaurant for a good breakfast. Overall for the price and location the Sleep Inn was a quiet place to rest our heads for the night. read more

I stayed here for 2 nights over the New Years weekend. The hotel was very clean and cozy. Private parking lot that never filled up 100%. The room was an alright size, however the pictures do fool you a little because they are small and the shower/toilet are tucked inside a tiny bathroom. The breakfast had cereal, yogurt, waffles, bagels, toast, fruit, juices, eggs, bacon... so quite a good selection, later in the morning it gets very crowded so I suggest you get in there early. I expected a little more after reading other reviews and deciding to stay here. The rooms and bathrooms are REALLY small. Ok for a quick shower and sleep, but if you're planning on staying more than a night, too small, in my opinion. We had 2 suitcases and nowhere to put them without constantly tripping over them. One desk chair, but otherwise no other place to sit except the bed. Decor was cute, consistent with other Sleep Inns. Room was clean, linens comfortable, although the bed itself was really firm. My biggest complaint, however, was the way noise travels. I was woken up multiple times (I am not a light sleeper either) throughout the night by people in the hallway, and they weren't really doing anything but talking and going in/out their rooms. There was a huge gap between the door and the frame to the rooms, that may be a contributing factor. AC worked, but was really loud. We actually attempted to have the fan run continuously to shut out the other noise though. No luck. Breakfast was above average, but because of the noise, we wouldn't stay again. Stayed three nights while in town to visit NAU and the Grand Canyon. Checked in early. Lexi was very welcoming and helpful. The room is on the small side but it's very clean and tastefully decorated. Housekeeping services were excellent. Loved that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Convenient for storing and reheating leftovers. Hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, a grocery store and Walmart. Complimentary breakfast. Standard fare which includes make-your-own waffles. Coffee's weak but available all day. If you forgot something (like my daughter did) the front desk provides complimentary items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. Free wifi worked well. Check out is early (11:00) but late check is available upon request. Lots of free parking. Will definitely return as our daughter will be attending NAU. read more

How many problems did this place have? - The first room the receptionist put us in was under construction - No elevator - Dingy building - Dirty, stained sheets - Scuff marks on walls, portions of room falling apart - Understocked breakfast featuring crusty bagels and stale fruit I've stayed at better hotels for half the price, but I guess we shouldn't have expected much from a place that still had Christmas decorations up in the middle of January.
