Now going through the channels, we see that the company Northern California chair corporation is the one who had the manager by the name of Desiree, who showed no professionalism and quite frankly does a disservice to the company. La-Z-Boy showed their character and where their priorities are with their customers. When you're a young married couple you think "one day we are going to get laz boy furniture", after 25 yrs of marriage we decided to splurge. Couch and chair for $7000. This faded leather is just 6 months after purchase, they are saying this is normal wear and tear. And if we want it fixed we have to pay extra. First, the sales person lied and said the warranty covers everything for like 5 yrs, even if we cause damage its covered. So it makes sense why the furniture is so expensive, impressive warranty, peace of mind. Nope. Then when the tech came out to take pictures of the couch, he reported back to them that we said that "our dog scratched it", we never said that! Who would just offer that info?? And those are not scratches, but now they are saying its normal wear and tear. When I had a fake leather couch it didn't even fade or peel this fast. JUNK.

What finally pushed me out the door, was the refusal of the salesman to give me a warranty for my purchase and his assistance that I pay cash. The owner specifically told me that if I wanted a warranty, then I would have to pay $200 more!!! After stepping aside with my wife, we decided to leave. We'd had enough of the lying, scamming & predatory techniques employed by Benny. When We were in the car, he ran outside and tried to prevent us from leaving; at one point reaching into the car.
