Service 9/10, space 9/10, coffee 8/10 I got a latte with coconut milk and I'm pretty happy with it. I've had coffee with more flavor for sure but it's great none the less. But, alternative milk for only .25¢?! That turned a 4 star into a 5 star for sure. The space is huge & beautiful, they also have a wine & coffee club that sound like a really good idea if you're a local. This is definitely a spot where you can stop by, enjoy a show, take a cooking class and have a full on coffee and/or wine experience

We were walking around the village and came across this coffee shop, walked in and found it to be interesting. It looks like a shared space with a winery because there were barrels inside. There was also ads for comedy and music so it seems like a pretty active venue. I got a caramel latte and the actual coffee part was very good. However, they put too much syrup in for my taste, it was too sweet. The cashier/barista was OK, not very friendly, but not rude. If I was in the area again, I would probably give it another try. It's right next to a Starbucks but my preference is always to give small businesses a chance.

    Wifi is pretty good.

We stopped in for a change of pace while working. We started with a couple of coffees and they were both good. An Americano and a cold brew. Since they are paired with Witch Creek Winery we finished work and had some wine when the live music started. The bourbon barrel aged Cabernet was pretty good. We've had other bourbon barrel cabs and they didn't have a great taste. The merlot was also very good. Not too sweet and a little earthy. The setting is very cozy and there's a lot of seating. The live music wasn't overly loud.

Sleeping Tiger Coffees is located near the Carlsbad Village Fair Shops. We waited quite some time because the only barista on duty was "upstairs"(?), so we meandered around the space while we waited. The interior design is charming and rustic with its tall, dark wood chairs and tables, and its barrels lining the perimeter of the floor. The lighted chandelier and Christmas decor lent a festive aura to the place. There's also an outdoor seated area, where vintage, antique-esque items housed in a sort of shed are available for sale. I ordered an iced vanilla bean latte, which was a recommended menu item that ended up being a little overpriced and pretty standard in flavor. Not sure if I would come back for the coffee, but Sleeping Tiger Coffees seems to share their interior space with another establishment...and it looks like they have live music nights! Cute!

Need I say more when I say this place is perfect? Coffee or drinks, really great!!! Came to meet friends for coffee which then turned into drinks haha Service was really nice. My first time having drinks there and when we sat at the bar a few ladies down were chatting with our server and leans over and says "he's the best" love how much people loved this place to even lean over and say something. Needless to say, he was, giving us samples of their homemade sangria. They have a cute out door seating are as well

Coffee & wine bar! We were a bit lost in the busy shopping area.. but this place is right next to Starbucks on the corner! Atmosphere is very cozy with indoor and outdoor dining, cute place!! I ordered the wild rose latte, not too sweet with floral fruity notes. Yum!!

We got a latte from here and it was just okay, and not one of our favorites from the coffee shops in the area. The coffee flavor was just off. The customer service was also just okay. I wouldn't come back here. If you are trying to decide on coffee in the area, we really like The Goods and Vinaka Cafe.

Average coffee at best! A cute little coffee shop that doubles as a wine bar at night, but it's the morning roasting of coffee that I experienced. The coffee is light, and seems to lack any boldness that a typical roaster would offer. Just not a recommended coffee stop in my opinion, but very nice wine bar option at night potentially!

Cute place inside of witch creek wineey. They had this drink called cold brew shandy. Its cold brew with lemonde. It is actually really refreshing and dont need mklk or sugar with the drink. Its my new fav drink.

In between a nice glass of wine or coffee/tea options. No worries here, you can get both at one time. Sleeping Tiger Coffee provides, a great hand out environment to a let's get some work done space. You can get a bite to eat, drink of your choice and enjoy some live music. (Friday- Sunday) Restroom is available with a key and a nice outside seating area in a restored greenhouse.

I wouldn't come here again . the inside is decorative and yes there is a lot to see . The coffee was nothing special. It was all so basic . Hot Mocha was horrid . It is in a great location, great imagery of the art of the tigers on the side of the building but I personally did not feel it was a welcoming environment . This girl literally looked me up & down before she took my order.

Nice selection of coffee and tea and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was helpful and the shop was super clean and pleasant. I had the chai tea latte with oat milk and my husband had a tea.

Sleeping Tiger Coffees in Carlsbad, CA-- this coffee spot is as unique as its name! While the latte I got was quite good, I really love this place for how they've designed the space! When you want in, the coffee bar is to the right, a wine bar to the left, and live music in the back! It makes for a seemless transition from your afternoon cup of joe to your evening wine spritzer! Plus there's an adorable small outdoor garden with tables if you're feeling like sipping some espresso surrounded by succulents! Pro-tip: check in on the Yelp App for 15% off!

There was a large lot maybe 1 block away that we parked at and then walked in from there. Inside, there was a line but it moved pretty fast. The donuts on display look so gooddd, we had to try one even though I was originally there for coffee. Person behind the donut area was really nice with great customer service! Cashier was the same! They have a little water stand you can get some water from too which was nice after chowing down on the donut. The donut itself was so good. Right amount of fluffiness and taste and crispiness. I'm still thinking about the donut and how good it was. I will come again one day.

I smiled and commented on the donuts and that broke their gossipy reverie. One immediately walked away like she couldn't be bothered to work, only a paid gossiper. There was no one in the store other than me. She rung me up with a flat attitude like she just got out of jail and was miserable. Her name is Bre. I ordered a dirty chai. With two other items. She wouldn't give a to go box like they usually do. It came off super cheap. She told me to just cover it with a lid even tho I told her I had a dog in the car that would eat it and it was chocolate sprinkle. Traditionally they stop and make the coffee and then move on to the next guest. She was in a really bad mood so she kept taking donut orders until about 5 guests deep. Then she got 2 other coffee orders so she stopped to make coffee. About 10 to 15 minutes after I paid for my other order she makes my dirty chai. A kid and a mom are right by the counter. The kid grabs my drink and spills it on the counter and on the floor. She sees this. It's right in front of her. She says oh no that's not yours. Then she wipes it off and tries to pass it off to me like I didn't see. I said no, you're not going to re make it? She goes no, it's not my fault he spilled it. I was like I want a refund. She goes why. I'm like the drink spilled and you didn't even offer or try to remake it. This place had really gone downhill. Service is awful. The donuts look nice but they've been sitting out and are stale. The same with crossaint I had. I would not go back here anymore. Awful experience. Drove out of my way to come here today. It's a shame. This place used to be really friendly and fresh and top of the line customer service, Management needs to rework things before they completely go downhill but it seems they are already there.

Right off of Vista Way in Oceanside. Scored a spot right in front...must've been kismit! They have the regular coffees but also some signature drinks as well. But it looks like there's some seasonal coffees too. Friendly hello when it was my turn. Me: So what do you think, butterscotch or pistachio? He: I would say pistachio because sometimes the butterscotch is too sweet for some. Pistachio it was! So definitely inquire about the seasonal coffees because this was delicious! Great flavor and dark chocolate shavings on top. This helped keep me awake on my long drive home! Love that they're local! Also bought The Colores blend which they happily ground for me, and it is really good! Mellow flavor with a hint of dark chocolate finish. I now have a great spot to stop at if in the area and in need. They have great outdoor seating that's dog friendly, and a nice dining area.

Coffee 10/10 We ordered their vanilla latte with marshmallow cold foam and their coconut latte with toasted coconut cold foam. Both were incredible! The vanilla latte was not too sweet so the cold foam wasn't overkill at all. Both cold foams are more on the runny side and not too thick. The coconut latte was sooo tasteful. The coconut flavor definitely comes through. This was our first time trying a coconut latte and we were not disappointed. Food 9/10 We didn't order much food or pastries since we had breakfast prior but the pastries did look so good! We did get a salted shortbread to try and it was pretty solid. Vibes/Ambiance : 7/10 We came on a Tuesday morning and it was busy. The space is very spacious and there's plenty of seating area. There were people working there and hanging out. It's an open space so that was nice. The decor is minimal but cute. The staff is okay...I don't know if I'd describe as friendly, but they weren't rude. Not sure if it was the city as a whole but we didn't really feel welcomed or came across too many friendly people. It was the same here. Didn't interact much with us...just took our order and kept it pushing. lol not necessarily a bad thing but it was something we experienced a lot. Overall, the coffee was amazing here.

We got the breakfast plate and a variety of pastries. Breakfast Plate- This is a hearty plate with scrambled eggs, double smoked bacon, roasted potatoes, and sourdough toast. Eggs were fluffy and the roasted potatoes had a nice garlicky and herby flavor. The toast is fresh and tasty. Shoutout to one of the best bacons I've ever had! It was thick, almost like pork belly, with a crisp exterior while remaining juicy inside. Pastries- Their almond croissant is the best I've tried. It's perfectly flaky and buttery, with a generous amount of almond filling and just the right amount of sweetness. The apple pie danish tastes just like the dessert, with a fun, breakfast twist. The cinnamon crumb cake is my favorite! The cake is moisy and crumbly with a thick layer of streusel, finished with powdered sugar. They really know how to balance flavors and sweetness. The sausage was juicy, and the egg yolk popped perfectly. While the aioli sauce was a tad on the salty side, the overall sandwich was delicious it literally left flavor all over my mustache! My wife ordered the shakshuka and scrambled right into it with a knife and fork. She broke me off a piece to try, and while nothing specific jumped out at me, I kept hearing her mention how amazing the bread was. In her own words: "A delightful, messy burst of flavor and textures, but the overall dish could have used more tomato sauce--and flatbread is not a sandwich." To drink, we tried the chocolate hazelnut latte, which was sweet, smooth, and pretty tasty. We also finished off our breakfast with a slice of the chocolate hazelnut cake. It was a decent treat that reminded me a bit of a Ferrero Rocher, though a scoop of ice cream on top would have really taken it to the next level (but to be fair, I like ice cream on everything!). The prices were definitely Californian with a side of beachy vibes tax, but the atmosphere was great. To "bum" up this review, we had a toast-ally awesome time and would absolutely come back if we're in the area--next time, we have our eyes on the pizza! Overall: A solid breakfast that made our tummy's dance like my wife when she hears any Bay Area music.
